Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Seaham

All staff members are all friendly and happy to help and care for my child. My child is settled at nursery and loves to explore anything messy! I enjoy seeing weekly pictures of him playing at nursery. My child doesn’t seem to like a lot of the meals and only eats little amounts.

After being so anxious for my child to start nursery as he was born during the coronavirus and was very clingy at home he’s settled really well and the staff in the baby room show a lot of care too to a point he’s cuddling the staff and I don’t even get a look when I drop him off.

My little girl started this nursery when she was eight and a half months old and the staff were excellent with both of us weaning us both in gently, now she is nearly two and loves nursery and all the staff. I personally don't have anything negative to say, she's always well-fed, in such a good mood when I pick her up and doesn't cry most of the time when I drop her off so I know she feels happy and safe there. The app is great (when it works).

The staff in the nursery are so welcoming not just to the children but to the parents, they help you with any issues you have, they encourage children to come out of there comfort zones. My daughter was shy on her first few weeks and wouldn’t talk to anyone, she now doesn’t shut up. They have encouraged my son to talk more loudly and engages with others more. I love the updates they put on, on a daily basis of what they have been up to and have they have had to eat. The nursery is like a home from home and I’d recommend to anyone who asks about it

The nursery staff have been amazing with my son, he enjoys coming to nursery, he loves all the nursery staff, he needs a one to one care and the nursery staff are amazing with him, I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

Fantastic nursery, goes above and beyond. My little boys speech is amazing for the age he is thanks to the nursery. He has come on amazing. Teaching him everyday skills. Ie playing/sharing. Manners. Using a knife and fork.

Food always made from scratch, and my child never leaves anything on her plate.

My daughter has truly come on over the last few months and it's all down to the amazing team. They truly go above and beyond and my daughter has thrived. They have supported her development and supported us as parents with struggles and helped implement new routines such as toilet training and losing the 'dreaded' dummy. Our experience at Seaham House Day Nursery has been wonderful and my daughter will surely miss the team as she transitions to big school. A huge thank you to you all!

The nursery staff have been amazing setting my child back into the nursery setting after been off due to Covid. They have brought him on leaps and bounds, and can’t thank or praise them enough for all the work. My son has made some great bonds with staff and peers and looks forward to attending his sessions.

My daughter was very apprehensive about starting nursery at first and I made the staff aware of this. They were terrific in their approach to helping my daughter feel comfortable and settled and now she beams with delight about going. It's beautiful to see her excitement when we collect her from a day full day of activities and learning.

My daughter loves talking about the nursey and about everything she has learnt. The staff all support her well with all areas of her development. My son previously attended the nursery who also loved attending. They have both developed really well and shown amazing progress. I would highly recommend the nursery for children from birth to 5 years.

My daughter loves attending nursery and looks forward to her nursery days. She is well supported by the staff, and I have seen an improvement in her numeracy and literacy skills. She loves the food - and the menus sound lovely and healthy. The staff are always helpful and friendly and great to speak to if needed.

I find the nursery to be above satisfactory. My daughter loves it and is constantly talking about what fun she has and what she has learnt. The staff are amazing and my child has thrived because of their perseverance and support. I will be sad for my child to leave.

We have had two children attend the nursery and have found the staff to be caring. The staff are approachable, friendly and offer the children a nurturing environment to grow and develop.
