Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Hetton

My son absolutely loves going to this nursery. He has come on so much in his learning especially his words. The girls in the hedgehog room are so lovely and really helpful nothing is too much of an ask for them. My son loves all the meals at nursery and most days will have seconds, he eats things at nursery he won't touch at home. I can't fault this nursery from the office staff to the daycare staff, all are so lovely.

The staff are always so happy and helpful whenever you speak to them and can’t do enough to help. Thank you so much everyone.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since January and she absolutely loves it. All of the girls are attentive and have taken the time to get to know her and her little traits. She has thrived since going - being a baby born at the start of lockdown, she is extremely wary of new people and socially, she has come on leaps and bounds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hetton Day House Nursery to anyone

Would highly recommend it. Our little one has been coming here from only a few months old and he’s now 4. He absolutely loves it! The lasses are friendly and helpful and he has learnt so much from them all! 10/10.

Since my granddaughter has attended this nursery she has come on tremendously, all the staff are very polite and patient with all the children they look after. My granddaughter loves going here and I would highly recommend it for any children. The meals she has are a good variety and she eats things that she wouldn't normally try at home.

My son has been going to Hetton House Day Nursery since I returned to work when he was just 1, each and every room he has been in has been incredible. The girls genuinely care about him and his development. He started just one morning a week for his development but now goes a full day as he loves it so much. If I have ever had any concerns or queries it’s addressed quickly without judgement.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old and I have felt at ease since the first day I left him. The app is updated throughout his sessions with what he’s eaten when he’s napped and even when he has had a nappy change. I love receiving photos of my son showing how much fun he is having. Very pleased with the service. And I cannot fault the staff at all - so lovely and friendly and my son loves his key workers.

I wish there were a little bit more updates on the app for their activities and what they do each day but understand there are lots of kids and not enough time.

My little girl loves nursery. She has been going for 3 years since she was a baby. The staff are all great, they often do activities based on the children's interests which she loves. The menu for lunch and tea is great so she has tried lots of food she wouldn't normally. Overall its a lovely positive nursery community and I would recommend it to anyone.

Both my children have attended this nursery and loved it. The staff have always been friendly, helpful and genuinely cared for the children. I would, and have recommended this nursery to others in the past. I feel like it has given both my children a really positive start, they have developed lovely friendships and enjoyed their time here very much.

Both of my children have been to Hetton House and they absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My son left here last year to start school and have recently put my daughter here and she loves it and makes me feel at ease when I'm at work, knowing what she's up to as I can easily track her on the app.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery and we all love it, we feel like part of the family. I'm actually keeping my youngest there, even though it's more of a commute because he loves it so much. The place is excellent, with kids well spread out in their age groups and loads to do in the rooms. My boys have always come home with plenty of handmade crafts, which I love. The toys are mainly wooden or messy (rather you than me) and you hardly see any plastic. The staff that I've experienced have all been amazing. I tell them that I feel so lucky to have had such lovely people looking after my boys while I work. The staff in the office are always helpful and never get irritated at my daft questions. They also really commit to developing your children and everything is shared and monitored in an understandable way. I trust them to help my boys learn. I really couldn't recommend enough.

Wow, what an amazing nursery! My daughter started here six months ago. She was upset initially but the staff were brilliant, they were calm and patient with me and her to make sure she fully settled and reassured me all the way. She is now a happy, fun-loving two-year-old who comes home telling me all about her day. All the staff are an asset to this nursery, they all seem passionate and care so much about the children. The nursery environment, activities and experience are second to none, I can not recommend this nursery enough. Just inspirational!
