Refurbished in 2022, Little Pioneers Hetton has a comfortable and encouraging environment that's safe for the development of your child. Their experienced nursery practitioners provide personalised childcare in a play-based learning environment, developing your child's social skills through exciting, interactive activities.

Little Pioneers Hetton have a silver eco schools accredited, a programme which sees children lead the way in making a difference in the environment. They also have 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with their children such as encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have an app for parents and carers, ParentZone, which keeps them updated on how their little ones are getting on in nursery with photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training!

They are also big on happy children as they have growing areas for food (and eating it), regular visits to their local care home and focus on taking care of each other and the world.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since January and she absolutely loves it. All of the girls are attentive and have taken the time to get to know her and her little traits. She has thrived since going - being a baby born at the start of lockdown, she is extremely wary of new people and socially,
she has come on leaps and bounds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hetton Day House Nursery to anyone

Would highly recommend it. Our little one has been coming here from only a few months old and he’s now 4. He absolutely loves it! The lasses are friendly and helpful and he has learnt so much from them all! 10/10.

Since my granddaughter has attended this nursery she has come on tremendously, all the staff are very polite and patient with all the children they look after. My granddaughter loves going here and I would highly recommend it for any children. The meals she has are a good variety and she eats things
that she wouldn't normally try at home.

My son started Hetton Day Nursery in March and loves every minute. The nursery staff have been amazing since the first visit, putting me at ease. All the staff are lovely, which is why I believe he’s settled in so well. They always do fun activities and there’s nothing better than when he comes out
all messy - the sign of a fun day! I’m updated at the end of every day when I pick him up and regularly throughout the day via the app. I always love seeing the observations and what he gets up to.
I can’t recommend this nursery enough!

My son has been going to Hetton House Day Nursery since I returned to work when he was just 1, each and every room he has been in has been incredible. The girls genuinely care about him and his development. He started just one morning a week for his development but now goes a full day as he loves it
so much. If I have ever had any concerns or queries it’s addressed quickly without judgement.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old and I have felt at ease since the first day I left him. The app is updated throughout his sessions with what he’s eaten when he’s napped and even when he has had a nappy change. I love receiving photos of my son showing how much fun he is having.
Very pleased with the service. And I cannot fault the staff at all - so lovely and friendly and my son loves his key workers.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for a just over a year and she loves it.
The girls have made my daughters life feel almost normal throughout the pandemic and she is thriving.
I wish there were a little bit more updates on the app for their activities and what they do each day but understand
there are lots of kids and not enough time.

My little girl loves nursery. She has been going for 3 years since she was a baby. The staff are all great, they often do activities based on the children's interests which she loves. The menu for lunch and tea is great so she has tried lots of food she wouldn't normally. Overall its a lovely positive
nursery community and I would recommend it to anyone.

Both my children have attended this nursery and loved it. The staff have always been friendly, helpful and genuinely cared for the children. Both of my children have been to Hetton House and they absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My son left here last year to start school and have recently put my daughter here and she loves it and makes me feel at ease when I'm at work, knowing what she's up to as I can easily track
her on the app.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery and we all love it, we feel like part of the family. I'm actually keeping my youngest there, even though it's more of a commute because he loves it so much. The place is excellent, with kids well spread out in their age groups and loads to do in the rooms.
My boys have always come home with plenty of handmade crafts, which I love. The toys are mainly wooden or messy (rather you than me) and you hardly see any plastic. The staff that I've experienced have all been amazing. I tell them that I feel so lucky to have had such lovely people looking after my boys while I work. The staff in the office are always helpful and never get irritated at my daft questions. They also really commit to developing your children and everything is shared and monitored in an understandable way. I trust them to help my boys learn. I really couldn't recommend enough.

Wow, what an amazing nursery! My daughter started here six months ago. She was upset initially but the staff were brilliant, they were calm and patient with me and her to make sure she fully settled and reassured me all the way. She is now a happy, fun-loving two-year-old who comes home telling me all
about her day. All the staff are an asset to this nursery, they all seem passionate and care so much about the children. The nursery environment, activities and experience are second to none, I can not recommend this nursery enough. Just inspirational!
