The staff really go above and beyond to create an amazing atmosphere and my daughter loves coming to the nursery.

I am so pleased with the nursery in every aspect and I feel so confident that they are caring for my son in the same way I would if I was not working full time, they facilitate every request I make, listen to everything I have to say and take it on board. I am so happy with the team at Monkey Puzzle!

A wonderful positive environment. I am so impressed ar how well staff interact with the children and redirect unwanted behaviours in a positive way. Our son loves teachers and classmates and so do we. It is obvious that the nursery has our son's well being, learning and social-emotional growth as a priority. We have been very impressed.

My daughter has loved coming to Monkey Puzzle since she started back in February. She really enjoys her nursery days and loves all the staff and owners. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive and always have the time to talk about my daughter's day and what she has been learning. Monkey Puzzle offers a clean, safe and loving environment. I have used and visited quit few nurseries with my two boys, so I can easily say this nursery is the best of all I’ve seen. My little boy is always excited to go there and at the pickup time, I can easily tell he had another great day. Children are always occupied with different activities which is brilliant. Staff is very caring, friendly, helpful and always find time to describe my boy’s day with details. Cleanliness is outstanding, especially to compare to some nurseries. Great outside playing area. Overall – 100% recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic nursery and I am over the moon with the choice I made for my son. I saw many nurseries in Colchester but this was by far the best. The staff are excellent and so helpful. I am always kept up to date with what is happening at the nursery and what is happening each day. The security, cleanliness and nursery activities are fantastic and most importantly my child is very happy here. I would recommend to all parents and can’t fault them on anything.

Our daughter started when Monkey Puzzle first opened in Colchester and from day one all the staff and owners have been absolutely incredible, they are very friendly and welcoming, really bring out the best in our daughter. In just the few months she has been there she has already learnt loads of new skills, made loads of new friends and loves all the food, we love that the food they supply is very healthy and love the fact she gets to try so much she would never try at home, widening her taste buds. She was an extremely happy girl at the beginning of the week when the nursery celebrated her birthday, they recently had a trip to the local park and we found the safety of the children was excellent and a fantastic time out for the children, find the nursery to be to the highest for safety and cleanliness. I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle to all parents in Colchester, they certainly wouldn't regret it and will have extremely happy children.

We were very fortunate to find this newly opened nursery. Our daughter settled in quickly and can't wait for the days she gets to go to "school".

If you are looking for a friendly nursery, where the staff and management work with you to achieve the outcome you want for your child then look no further. As older first-time parents, our main concern was to ensure that our infant son ended up somewhere clean, safe and secure and where he would get peer interaction and lots of cuddles!

We looked at 5 other nurseries before choosing this one. Despite the 30 minute commute, for us, it is worth the extra effort. Facilities are clean and bright with plenty of space to run around. The staff have been great keeping on top of all things relating to baby’s milk allergy, including dairy free, soya free options - our son adores his carers and loves going to nursery. The special ParentZone app gives us updates on what is happening during the day. We especially look forward to the images. Working with the nursery our son is now on a scheduled routine and gets help managing his dry skin. The perfect nursery for our baby. And yes, he gets plenty of cuddles!

My daughter has recently joined Monkey Puzzle after we moved to the area in December. After viewing several nurseries in the area I really struggled to find one that matched the quality and care of her previous nursery. After an initial visit to Monkey Puzzle I was left impressed by such a lovely space with brand new equipment and in particular the time the team took to show us around and talk through our expectations, meet our daughter's grandparents, understand our needs for our daughter and listening to how we wanted her nursery experience to be. All the staff have been particularly supportive and caring and we receive regular updates throughout the day with lovely pictures of her enjoying the many fun activities the nursery team organise for the children. The team will always ask how we are which I really appreciate. I am extremely pleased with our choice of nursery and I know our daughter will thrive in the environment the team at Monkey puzzle have worked hard in creating.

My husband and I had been to visit around 5 or 6 nurseries and I can safely say that Monkey Puzzle stood out for us by a mile with fantastic facilities, staff and how clean it was (a mile above the rest)! Our son joined and started the day they opened. From day one, they have done everything to ensure that he settled in well and in just a few months he has been there, he has come on leaps and bounds. Every morning now he asks to go and see the key workers even if it is asking me at 6am on a Saturday I love that he loves going. Our son is dairy free and they have be excellent with this, even emailing me on a weekend whilst they're doing the online food shop to see if there is anything in particular that he needs. He’s also asthmatic and I feel completely confident with the care plan drawn up that in the case of an attack that he would be safe in their hands.

From our very first visit, my daughter and I were made to feel extremely welcome! I'm a first-time mum and it was the first nursery I visited so naturally, I had lots of questions. The nursery manager couldn't have been more helpful! She has a warming and bubbly nature and shows very genuine care and interest in the children and their parents. My daughter has been going to Monkey Puzzle for a few weeks now and has had a bit of separation anxiety as she isn't used to being away from me. During this time, all of the staff including the director, have been brilliant in supporting us both, by suggesting different approaches and putting my mind at ease by giving me a call after I've left to let me know once my daughter has settled, or uploading photos to the parent app. Overall, it's modern, safe (CCTV everywhere), well established and stimulating. Loving the monthly newsletter and special events such as dressing up and Mothers' Day Tea too! Cannot recommend this nursery enough!
