Absolute first class nursery, the staff here are amazing, the nursery its self is a great place good size classrooms with a good outdoor area. A secure place so I'm confident in the knowledge my child is safe, outstanding food selection, the list is endless. I’m so glad I chose this nursery after lots of research, my little one is very happy here which is of course the most important factor.

My child has been going to Monkey Puzzle Nursery since he was a baby and now he is 3. The care and commitment that the staff gives to my child is amazing and I really do feel confident and happy leaving my child while I am away at work. I can't thank them enough for all the things they teach my son from problem-solving to potty training. He is truly happy to go to nursery every week and it gives me peace of mind while I'm at work.

Such a wonderful nursery! The staff strike the perfect balance of professionalism, organisation and approachability, and are always so happy to be with the children. The nursery itself is a lovely building with lots of different things to keep the kids busy, and an exciting garden out the back too. Highly recommended.

I cannot thank all of the team enough for the fantastic care, support and pre-school education that has been provided for my son. It has been a first-class experience throughout, where they have completely cared for his holistic well being and personal development with great care and attention to detail. Outstanding communication, great leadership and absolutely wonderful 'key persons' in each of the rooms.

This nursery is amazing, my little girl has absolutely flourished since starting just after her first birthday. The staff are fantastic, caring, supportive and fun. The setting has so much for the children to do and the outside space is massive. All the children are happy going in in the mornings. The food is a big hit with my daughter and she eats lots of different foods now. I can't praise or thank them enough for everything they do. And during lockdown they were amazing, supporting the children and the parents too, making a very difficult time easier. Best decision I made choosing this nursery.

Such an amazing nursery. Sent my 2 year old there and it took him a few months to settle due to not being around other people/children because of Covid. But the staff at Monkey Puzzle were so patient with him and really helped encourage him to play with the other children and make friends. Not only were they brilliant with my son, but they were also very reassuring to me, especially during the first few months. Now my son looks forward to going and even wants to go back when I pick him up each time.

We had originally started our son in another nursery setting, but for a number of reasons, it quickly became clear it wasn’t the right place for them. We wanted somewhere more nurturing, with a feeling of family, and we found that and more in Monkey Puzzle. The staff are warm, friendly, fun and caring. They take time to get to know the children as individuals, and I love how they follow the children’s interests as they set the topics and activities for each week. The office staff are fantastic, always happy to help and have often gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Our little boy has a food intolerance, and we’re so grateful for the care that is shown in taking that into account but also ensuring that he isn’t left out. We love the Monkey Puzzle family.

Monkey Puzzle is a great nursery that myself and my husband highly recommend. The staff are welcoming and lovely and my daughter is excited every time she gets a chance to go. They do a great range of activities and comes home with a lot of new things she has learned. I love this nursery, 5 stars all the way!

Couldn't recommend this nursery anymore. My little girl doesn't normally warm to people that well but the staff have gone above and beyond. We appreciate the staff so much. I love the updates and seeing what she's getting up to. I love to see the new things nursery has taught her, especially her sign language! My little girl absolutely loves nursery and is always so happy to go in on her own. Everyone is so welcoming and reassuring, I like to hear about her day and the team never makes me feel like I'm wasting their time!

The only thing I wish they did was little videos of getting up to some things, playing in the garden or painting, but I'm just too obsessed with my baby girl!

In all I would highly recommend the nursery because our daughter is very happy there.

Our little boy has loved his time since attending this nursery. There has always been great communication and regular updates from the staff which always makes us feel very connected. Would definitely recommend adding Monkey Puzzle to your shortlist for anyone looking right now.

My child has been attending Monkey Puzzle for just over 2 years and in that time has come on in leaps and bounds with his speech and learning. Monkey Puzzle are very caring towards the children and my son tells me regularly how much he likes his key worker and other staff in his room. Although it took my son some time to settle in, he is now always excited to go to nursery and hurries me out of the door to get him there as fast as possible. Any issues we have had in the past have been addressed and dealt with really well by the management team who I cannot recommend highly enough.

My daughter started attending to Monkey Puzzle, Colchester in February 2021 and in only few months we have noticed such a difference in her communication, socialising and confidence. Also, the updates in the app and photos of the activities uploaded give you peace of mind knowing what your child has been doing, what they've eaten. The staff are very friendly and always welcome your child with a big smile and cuddle in the morning. The management is easily approachable and in my experience, they have never let me down and always supported in any changes to my schedule in a very short notice. Overall, all things considered, I would 100% recommend Monkey Puzzle to anyone who is looking for childcare in the area!

Staff are very professional, lovely, helpful and responsive. It’s a massive worry for everyone leaving their most precious ones in strangers’ hands, but I can say they made our transition into nursery very easy. I feel like we can trust them, they listen to our needs. I really appreciate the regular updates we get of our child’s progress; we can see a massive improvement since he’s been going there. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

My child goes here. It’s an excellent nursery. The management has a great vision and good thought clarity on how to stay excellent consistently. I have seen and studied several nurseries in Colchester before deciding on Monkey Puzzle for my child. My child is a busy bee there and she loves to go there.

My daughter has attended this nursery since it first opened until now, and will be leaving to start school. She has gone through every age group and has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Monkey Puzzle. She is always excited to go into nursery (even asking to go in on her birthday!). The staff are all lovely and helpful, and a special mention to one member of staff in particular who my daughter absolutely adores and always goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend this nursery and have never had any issues. My daughter has learnt a lot during her time there and I feel it has truly benefitted her in the lead-up to school.

Our 18-month-old has been attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Colchester for just over 6 months now and we couldn't be happier. He attends 3 times a week and quickly built a lovely bond with his key worker. His personality and his confidence have grown steadily and he is thriving. It's obvious that the care he receives from all of the staff at Monkey Puzzle Colchester is of a very high standard and he loves seeing the staff and his friends every day. Initially we were worried about how he would settle as he has spent most of his life in lockdown but we needn't have been concerned. He surprises us so often with new things he does and the sign language he has learnt. The nursery is very clean, with modern equipment and it is evident that the staff and managers all take pride in their nursery. The play activities are linked to the educational development of the children and fed back to parents regularly. Our son eats nutritious meals and always comes home with a full tummy, tired and very happy.
