Everything and everyone is excellent.

Our son has been at Poppies Maidenhead for 3 months from 13 months old. All of the staff have been amazing at helping him (and us!) settle into a new routine of nursery and work. One member of staff, in particular, has been absolutely awesome and genuinely cares for the kids she is responsible for and our son has built up a great relationship with her. We are new to the area, so finding a nursery that worked for us was important. Really pleased we chose Poppies.

My son has been using the nursery for about 6 months. I can see the hard work the team puts in with my son. His social development has come on leaps and bounds since he has been with Poppies. I would highly recommend this nursery if your child has any allergies and here for taking care.

I am so glad we chose Poppies Day Nursery for our son's nursery, he loves going and we can see the development in his speech and actions such as tidying away at home. All the staff are brilliant and genuinely care about the children's well-being. Our son is so happy when he sees them approach the door as he arrives each day. The facilities are also great with an open door policy to playing outside in all weather along with a great selection of toys and books indoors. They also make an effort to provide lots of events such as dress-up days, parent's evenings, sports days, grandparent's day etc. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone!

Our children have been at Poppies for over two years, with our eldest recently starting school, where she is now thriving thanks to the foundations she built at nursery. Both have always been very happy at the nursery and loved their room leaders and key carers. The management team are excellent and supports families, and all staff are knowledgeable and approachable, with a brilliant core team who have been with the nursery for a long time and are heavily invested in its success. You can tell they take pride in providing a nurturing and engaging setting for the children who leave well-prepared for school. The recent meadow project is also a great connection with the community!

We were invited to the nursery for grandparent's morning. We were welcomed at the door by a very pleasant manager who gave us a very warm welcome. We were offered a lovely selection of breakfast dishes and warm drinks by one of the nursery staff. Escorted to see our granddaughter at play and meet the staff who were well informed about all the children. What a lovely way to spend a morning. Thank you all.

Stay and Play for grandparents. Very impressed with the effort gone into organising the two hour visit. The care and calm attention of the whole team engaging with the children.

A very welcoming atmosphere greeted me at my grandparents' breakfast today. Reunited with my granddaughter I was instantly struck by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It is evident that she is in a caring and ordered environment in which she is clearly settled and happy. I was able to see the various spaces both inside and out available to her as well as those in earlier and later years. I was impressed by the range of educational and creative stimuli which will no doubt equip her for later years in school.

Our son has recently started at Poppies and we have seen so much progress in his development. The staff are really on the ball with making sure every opportunity is a learning opportunity and he clearly has a fun time at nursery. We are very happy with all the staff who are very reassuring to us as parents and our son. We are also impressed with the purpose-built facilities and we are glad that we have chosen this location (vs. other Poppies / other nurseries).

Having spent the last six months at home with me, my daughter was naturally apprehensive to be left for the day, as was I! Her transition was smooth & stress-free all thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at the school. This morning she left my arms with a smile on her face and I walked away confident that she was going to have another wonderful day.

Had a fantastic Father’s Day afternoon at Poppies Day Nursery. A very warm welcome by the staff from the moment I arrived, was great to see behind the scenes and how much fun the staff and children were having in preparation for the Father’s Day afternoon. They make a real effort to keep parents involved with parents' evenings, mothers/fathers' day teas and even a sports day coming up!

This is the first time our 2-year-old son goes to a nursery regularly and we are very happy that we chose Poppies Day Nursery. We are surprised to see how quickly he gets comfortable with the nursery. Teachers are very patient and all staff always carry positive energy. Our son is happy every day when we pick him up and he has progressed a lot in his learning and social skills. We feel he is taken care of very well. I would recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been with Poppies since the baby room and is now in preschool. She has always really enjoyed her time there and we have always felt the members of staff go above and beyond in the care they provide. She took a while to settle into preschool but the recent changes made and the new plans for the room and for her learning have really helped. I was very impressed recently looking around the room and all the different activities on display and the creativity of the displays around the room to improve the nursery experience. Thank you to the manager and the rest of the management team and for the Practitioners in the room who are all doing a great job; Ellie and Sarah have been fantastic since joining.
