Jesters have been amazing at looking after my 2-year-old daughter since September. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. My daughter enjoys her time at nursery and has settled in really well. The staff go above and beyond to support her and make her happy. I would highly recommend Jesters at Beaulieu to everyone.

I was initially very anxious about sending my daughter to nursery but she seemed to settle very quickly at Jesters which is purely a testament to the staff. They are all so friendly and welcoming and the nursery just has a generally nice feel about it. The activities they do with the children are fantastic and the large outside space, which was a huge plus for me when choosing a nursery, is brilliant for the summer. I also believe the meals are all freshly made on-site - and the variety they offer is great. All round, very happy. Would recommend them to anyone.

My little guy started with Jesters in July, he is 1 now. He absolutely loves going, we never have any tears in or out. He only attends one day but his confidence and ability have come along so well. The food he eats at the nursery all sounds amazing and such a variety. He has a dairy allergy and the nursery plans and adapts his meals accordingly.

Our son has been here for 5 months and we couldn’t be happier and more comfortable with the level of care and professionalism we have witnessed from all of the staff. The staff have taken the time to get to know our son and his individual needs which means he is happy when dropped off and happy when we pick him up.

from transitioning to there from a previous setting, she settled in quickly! She came out everyday smiling and telling me everything she had done, The staff have been amazing! Any questions answered straight away, she's made so many friends and loved the staff too. Our little one came to this nursery from a one where he was really unhappy, and within a month and with the support from the staff and the manager he was back to his old self!

My child has been with Jesters since Dec2018, full time, and having joined the nursery from a previous setting I thought he would not transition well, however that wasn't the case and he comfortably integrated with the kids and staff! He has enjoyed his time making friends and becoming close to the staff. The nursery provides the facilities for the kids to enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities and he has gradually built his confidence and learnt new things on a weekly basis. The nursery has taken parents' suggestions on board and have made the small changes to further enrich the children's learning and are in constant communication with the parents! Well done Jesters for completing a successful first year!
Both of our children have been so happy since their transition to Jesters at Beaulieu. The setting is wonderful and well resourced and all of the practitioners are friendly and committed to nurturing and developing the children. Communication is also excellent both verbally and through email and the Tapestry portal. The manager has done an excellent job dealing with the pressures of setting up a new nursery and dealing with the management side whilst having to spend time in the rooms with the children as she establishes the team. My daughter has gone from strength to strength during her time here and is more than school ready. My son has settled brilliantly and is developing at such a fast rate. It's a difficult decision to decide who looks after our children while we have to work. We absolutely made the right choice with Jesters! Thank you to everyone involved.

Meet the Team (5)
Hello, I am the Head of Curriculum & Inclusion, developing and nurturing our Jesters pre-schoolers. I have always had an immense passion for helping others and making a difference, and because of this, I always knew I wanted to work with children, positively impacting their lives and helping them thrive and learn.
Growing up, I always admired my teachers and couldn’t wait until I could inspire other young children, too. I completed my University Degree in Early Years and Primary Education and QTS Qualifications, and have been working in childcare and education since 2014. I have loved every minute and continue to do so here at Jesters.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking and cuddling my two dogs, Ralph and Willow; they are adorable and playful. I also enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies and cooking each other’s dinners.
My favourite children’s book is Superworm by Julia Donaldson. This book has been extremely lucky for me, as I based an activity and lesson around it, and thankfully, I was successful. It is also an excellent read for children and my go-to in the classroom. I know firsthand that the children enjoy it as much as I enjoy reading it to them.
Hello, I’m Rachel, Head of Education & Wellbeing at Jesters. I have over 12 years of experience in childcare and education, and have taught in both nursery and school settings. I am passionate about child development and will always go above and beyond to ensure that all children are provided with exceptional learning and care opportunities.
I am part of the leadership teams at all Jesters settings. My role is to shape education and the curriculum across the service. I have Early Years Professional status.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching a good documentary or my favourite football team. I love reading, gardening and being outdoors.
My favourite book is The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson, as it reminds me of my childhood. My Grandparents used to read it to me to help me get over my fear. Happily, ‘Plop’ got over his fear, however I did not!
Hi, my name is Katy, and I am the Deputy Curriculum Manager at Jesters Beaulieu. I have worked in education since 2010, and I am passionate about creating memorable moments for children.
I joined the Jesters Family in April 2025 after relocating back to Essex after my maternity leave. I started as Room Leader and have now progressed to Deputy Curriculum Manager. Previously, I worked as a Primary School Teacher and now love supporting others in planning and delivering meaningful and purposeful lessons.
I love spending time with my family, walking our dog and exploring new villages and seaside towns. I regularly visit my son’s family in Spain and love exploring and learning about different cultures.
My favourite children’s book is The BFG by Roald Dahl. It was one of the first books that made me love reading. My favourite book to read to my little boy is The Bellybutton Book by Sandra Boynton, as it always makes us laugh!
Hello, my name is Amy, and I am the Deputy Operations Manager here at Jesters Beaulieu. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and a Level 3 in Management Principles. I have worked within the childcare sector for over 10 years, in various roles including Nursery Practitioner within a private school, Nannying, SEN Support and Family Support Worker within the community.
The reason I chose Jesters is that both of my children attended the setting, and I loved the caring, homely feel the setting had to it and the love and nurture they gave my boys. I strongly believe that nurseries build strong foundations for children’s development and future success through play and engaging activities. I am passionate about how children can understand and manage their emotions and enjoy implementing emotional regulation into everyday activities, ensuring these activities are both fun and educational.
During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching my boys play football, and walking our family dog.
My favourite book is Simon Sock by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. I feel this book has such a special message for young people to understand that we are all unique and to find happiness in being an individual.
Hello, my name is Jessica. My career within the childcare sector started in 2012 upon completing my Level 3 qualification. In 201,7 I progressed and achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Childcare and Management.
Since returning to Jesters after a career break and the birth of my 1st daughter in September 2023, I have gravitated back to that feeling of belonging. My own childhood was magical, and I wish to offer those unique experiences with the ethos and opportunities I’m invested in.
Socialising with friends, coffee meet-ups, and baby groups have become my new hobbies, and I cherish every moment! I have a Chihuahua called Wills who loves to be spoilt, and why shouldn’t he!?
My favourite book, again relating to my childhood, is The Famous Five collection by Enid Blyton. The imagination, adventures, family feel and challenges bring lots of excitement and wonder.
