Blue Sky Day Nursery and Pre-School

My son has attended since he was 2 and a half and the progress he has made is remarkable due to the staff with their support, knowledge and positivity! It was his last day today and we will be forever grateful to them he absolutely loved it there. Highly recommend Blue Sky Nursery.

Our little daughter has just said goodbye to the Blue Sky Day Nursery and Pre-School where she had been very well cared for the past three and a half years. Each day was filled with joy and they recently did an incredible job preparing her for the big school. We can't express enough gratitude to all the staff there and we will miss them all dearly.

When it was time for my child to start nursery I had my reservations about leaving her. I looked at all of the nurseries in my area and Blue Sky was the best by far. My child has been there for four days and I still remember her induction week, where I went in with her and met the preschool assistants and felt very reassured. Blue Sky is like a home away from home. My child has been loved and cared for just the way I would want her to be. She comes home daily with pictures and art that she has made. She has made wonderful friends who she talks about all the time. Blue Sky have wonderful activities around special seasons and is really inclusive to all. All staff have been happy, friendly, upbeat and informative about my child’s progress. We are extremely happy that we chose Blue Sky and it is going to be hard saying goodbye to the team!

Moved my daughter from another nursery as wasn't happy there. Got recommended Blue Sky. So went and viewed it. Felt at home straight away. The staff are great, very accommodating. My daughter struggled with anxiety but they really helped her settle in. Since being at Blue Sky she's really come out of her shell and learnt so much. So glad we changed nurseries and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I only have praise for this nursery. My son joined in august 2020 and my daughter has now started. She is quite a clingy baby but it is so nice knowing she is in good hands and has settled in so well. There is nothing better than knowing you’re children are in the best hands.

Our son has been coming to this nursery since he was 2, and the support they have put in place for him is amazing! They go above and beyond to help him progress, and we can see that he comes home so happy, has made friends there, and he has a good relationship with all the staff too. We get the online reports on a regular basis to show us what he's been up to, and he learns so much there; the key thing is he has fun and enjoys himself! He's built so much confidence by going here, and his personality is shining through! We are always well informed and have regular updates. You can tell the staff want the best for every child there and support them in every way they can.

Fantastic nursery! My two have loved their time here and have been well supported and cared for. I have always felt extremely comfortable leaving my two in the care of these ladies! Always entertaining and teaching well. Couldn’t recommend the nursery enough!

Blue Sky Day Nursery has been an awesome place to learn and explore for my 21 month old son. He learns new words every day he comes home and teaches me some of them. Amazing, helpful and friendly staff members. They have a safe word for the little ones when they are feeling sad they go for cuddles. Absolutely amazing. They have a cool app that we all communicate and see his development and how his day has been.

Blue Sky Day Nursery family are amazing. The team is very supportive, understanding and provide an excellent, exceptional service of care, love and assistance in their warm-hearted approach. The staff genuinely are interested in the wellbeing of each and every individual child in their care. I am 100% very happy with all they do for my granddaughter. She is very happy and settled attending the nursery. Thank you all for the wonderful work and service you supply.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 2 years and she has loved every minute of her time here. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and highly attentive to all the children's needs. They offer a wider range of well structured and varied activities that keep the little ones entertained and engaged throughout the day. They offer a real home-from-home experience that really made my little girl settle in with ease. She has formed some lovely friendships over her time here and has developed so much in every way. I honestly cannot praise them enough for all they have done - they always go above and beyond in every way possible. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our son has been going to Blue Sky Day Nursery for over 3 years. I was initially reluctant about him going to nursery at such a young age, (around 9 months old at the time) however, my opinion has completely changed over this time. Watching the skills learned, and confidence gained in himself as well as the development of social skills with other children, as well as the staff it has been fantastic to see. The pandemic has been handled well, and communication has been adapted to ensure parents are kept as informed and involved, as we were prior to restrictions being introduced. It will be a sad day when nursery ends as our son goes to school in September, it is like an extended family. Our son has a genuine bond with all the staff and we are grateful for all the support they have provided over the time he’s been there. The management and staff have all been exemplary.

Very pleased that I chose Blue Sky Day Nursery and Pre-School nursery for my son. Not only did I chose the nursery but my son did too! As soon as he had a walk around he instantly settled in and felt so welcomed by everyone who greeted him. It was clear from day one he would be settled here until he was ready for the big move to primary school. The nursery teachers are all very friendly and have dealt with my sons various moods every morning perfectly! They’ve always made him feel comfortable and he’s always very excited to get up and go back every morning. It has been so nice to see how much he has developed within the space of a year, with his new skills, emotions, friendships and much more. It’s fair to say I can’t thank everyone at Blue Skys enough for everything they have done from the very beginning to nearly the end of his journey at nursery and it’s very sad to think it’s coming to an end but on the positive side I feel that the nursery have got my son so ready for primary school. Very happy!

We cannot speak highly enough of the care our son receives, from small things like letting us know the new things he’s learned to how they go above and beyond (such as going out of their way to add specific items our son needs to their shopping list).

My daughter has attended Blue Sky Day Nursery for 9 months, since she was 10 months old. The staff are very caring and warm. When I leave her in their care, it is with great peace of mind that she will be treated warmly and will have a wide variety of activities to take part in. We have been welcomed into the Blue Sky family and there is great care taken to inform parents of our children's day and all the things they got up to. They are very good at capturing little moments throughout the day in photos for their learning journey and to show them having fun. My daughter loves the variety of meals and eats well. She enjoys the interactions with the staff and the staff are very kind and compassionate.

Brilliant nursery with lovely, enthusiastic and kind staff. Always very informative and they have helped my daughter settle in really well. I look forward to my daughter spending more years having fun with them.

I have been very lucky to have been invited in on special family days to take part in activities with my grandson. I think days like these equally important not just for the families but also for the children as you can see how proud they are of their environment.

My daughters confidence has increased drastically since she started here at Blue Sky Day Nursery. She is always full of tales, telling me stories of her day and activities. The women are all super friendly and always happy to answer any questions.

Fantastic nursery, the staff are amazing, my son loves it there. The tapestry app is brilliant for keeping up to date with my child’s progress and how he’s interacting with the other children. He has also learnt some Makaton sign language! Highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery with brilliant care from all the staff. My daughter has lots to do and this must be the tidiest nursery we visited. It’s clear the other kids love it. Better than the other highly rated nurseries.
