Kids Planet Preston, formerly Newlands Nursery School, is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery based in Fulwood, Preston.

Rated 'outstanding' in February 2015, the nursery is an established setting and benefits from lovely outdoor play areas.

Staff's quality of teaching is consistently high. Consequently, children are highly motivated to learn and make excellent progress in their learning and development.

Children are cared for in a very safe, vibrant and highly challenging environment, where staff provide an excellent range of toys and resources. These are used extremely well to maximise children's learning.

Children's emotional well-being is exceedingly well supported by superb settling-in arrangements. As a result, parents and children build excellent relationships and flourish during their time at the setting.

Kids Planet is a good nursery which focuses on the development of child's ramifications.
My child has really developed immensely since he started attending Kids Planet Day Nursery.
I am very impressed with their facilities.

The nursery is first class for all ages 0-4. It prepares the children well for primary school, taking into account their different personalities and learning styles. Our children love attending and joining in all the exciting activities and educational visits.

Kids Planet is a fantastic nursery, my boys always look forward to going. There is always plenty going on with great facilities, friendly staff and an excellent food menu. Can’t recommend it enough.

Absolutely faultless nursery, Ic ould not have wished for a better setting for my son! He has progressed so much in the last year and looks forward to going to nursery, I would not hesitate in recommending it.

This is a lovely nursery with friendly staff .

My little boy has been attending Newlands since he was one. I have nothing but praise for everybody who works there. He has always been made to feel safe, cared for and part of the Newlands 'family'. Everything is handled with ease and professionalism and we feel very lucky that he has had such a positive
few years there.

Kirsty Powell is the Nursery Manager for Kids Planet Preston. Kirsty has a Bachelor's Honours degree in Early Years and Education as well as being qualified an Early Years Professional. She has worked within the childcare industry since 2007, having been part of the Kids Planet family since 2016.
