The nursery is located on Lonsdale Gardens in a beautiful three-storey converted house.

It is located only a short walk from Tunbridge Wells train station.

The nursery is open full-time from 7:30 am – 6:30 pm caring for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Staff work with parents to gain information about their child’s learning at home to help children develop a range of skills.

The nursery chef and a paediatric dietician create tasty, healthy meals every day to meet the needs of each age range.

This is our second experience with Little Rascals Nursery, our first child spent three and a half, very happy years there until he went on to school. My youngest started in the first week in January and is already thriving. Even with the usual separation anxiety that occurs, he has been really happy
there every day, eating well, sleeping well and playing and learning so much along the way.

My daughter has attended Little Rascals Nursery since she was 12 months old (now nearly 3) and we have always been impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The nursery is well-equipped and well-run. The staff are attentive and helpful, they take the time to provide a verbal handover
at the end of the day and provide online updates via an app. I would recommend the nursery to others.

We can not recommend Little Rascals Nursery more! Our son is so happy to be there and with all the hard work of the wonderful staff has been settling in beautifully. They went above and beyond to make that happen and were not phased by his rare condition. It is lovely to have updates from nursery through
the day with all the messy play and activities. Staff are so caring and we are so reassured our little boy is so well looked after and loved, let's not forget the wonderful meals he enjoys every time! Thank you!

My grandson started at Little Rascals a year ago. I am very pleased with his care there.
Staff are always willing to listen and let me know how his day has gone.
I feel interaction with other children is teaching him to share and give him confidence.

My godson absolutely loves Little Rascals, he’s always so happy to tell us all about his day, especially enjoys music time!

My son always looks like he’s having the best time when I collect him from nursery. I can keep an eye on what he does all day with updates about sleep, meals and playtime. Staff are always polite and friendly when I drop him off and collect him, with a full breakdown of what he’s done and how he’s been.

We currently have one child at Little Rascals Nursery and the other at pre-prep. I always wonder what it is that makes life and all the pressure of being a parent easier. Quite simply, it is trusting the people who you give your children to each day. I can honestly say my children are the happiest little
things being in the environment that all the staff provide. They work so very hard and really do care. It’s not an easy job, but they do it with kind words, a smile on their face and the expertise to deal with difficult days. It is a joyful place full of laughter, which I would recommend to all.

My son started at Little Rascals when he was ten months old, I was dreading leaving him to return to work, but the team made it the most seamless and reassuring experience. We had regular settling-in sessions and Zoom calls so that his key workers could understand his routine and personality. The staff
are so warm, professional and supportive. Almost ten months later, he has a ball every single day with a variety of activities, but most importantly, we’ve been blown away by his personal development. Would absolutely recommend it.

My three children have all attended Little Rascals and have all loved it. My youngest is at the nursery, and he’s approaching three but still not talking; however, the support we’ve received from the staff is brilliant. He goes in happy every morning and has such a close bond with his key workers. They
always do such varied play and have different themes each week.

Our son has been at Little Rascals Nursery since he was 11 months old and is now 2.5yrs. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. I would like to take credit for his polite manners and good sharing but it definitely has been embedded in him at nursery from the very start. Our son can be very shy in social
settings but he goes into nursery happily every morning and is always telling me which key worker he wants to give cuddles to that day. For working parents it is so important to fully trust where your child will be spending their days but to also know your child loves going in and knowing they will do all the painting and glitter that you don’t want to do at home makes you feel you are doing all you can for your little one! Thank you to everyone at Little Rascals for all their consistent hard work.

Our son started at Little Rascals at 11.5 months and we have seen him progress so well during his time there. The Baby Room team are wonderful, they managed the settling in so well to ensure he was comfortable building up to his full hours, they quickly established a great routine for him around naps
/ eating and the activities they do on a daily basis are really varied meaning every day he comes home worn out from all the fun! I really appreciate the team walking us through his day each evening and they are always willing to take the time to answer any questions. The staff are kind and caring and everyone clearly works really hard to make sure the children are safe, happy, comfortable and always learning new things. Thank you all!

My little one started with the nursery at 6 months old. The team were brilliant, they listened to me and my partner and followed our wishes with her weaning bottle and sleep schedule. As a first time mum, I felt so comfortable entrusting my daughter to the lovely team. She has now transitioned into
the pre-toddler room, where she has come on leaps and bounds. She clearly has a brilliant relationship with her key person and the rest of the staff team, as she spends her evenings and weekends talking away about them. Thanks for all your hard work ladies.

My little girl is in the Pre Toddler room and is very happy and settled. Her development is coming on leaps and bounds and her confidence and resilience in a variety in experiences outside of nursery, is no doubt down to the nurture and reassurance she is lucky enough to experience when at nursery.


She

has a wide repertoire of nursery rhymes thanks to the team, and gets to enjoy many activities we wouldn’t even dream of doing at home!
She often has double portions of fresh cooked meals when at home she can be a bit of a grazer so that is very reassuring.

We could not be more happy with our choice in this nursery! Our son is happy everyday which says it all! Everyone at the nursery makes our son feel special, whilst ensuring good communication with us as parents. The nursery has dealt with the Covid 19 pandemic exceptionally, and although we have only
recently been allowed back inside the building, we feel fully informed of our son’s daily routine and development. Transition through each class has been seemless and fully supported for both child and parent.

I collect my granddaughter twice a week from Little Rascals. I have been very impressed by the professionalism of the friendly staff who deliver her to me.
I’m always informed about her day, food, sleeps, nappy changes etc. but also what she has been doing. If she has had a happy time and they celebrate
her little milestones (such as learning to walk).
I feel she is in good hands at the nursery.

My daughter is in the baby room and a feisty little character, the wonderful team have been loving and patient with her since starting giving her (and me) lots of reassurance and excellent care while she’s settled in.
We get a detailed handover of her day and I can see she has a lovely relationship
with her key person.
We especially like that the baby room is separate to the under 2’s room so the care is very baby focused, so reassuring that her development is being nurtured accordingly.
Nothing is too much for the lovely, professional managers and the environments are beautiful.

Job Title: Deputy Manager, Health and Safety Coordinator Joined: 2011

Gemma has worked at Little Rascals since opening in 2011, and has worked her way up from a Nursery Assistant to Deputy Manager!


Gemma gained her Level 3 qualification in Childcare and education as well as IOSH training since starting with Little Rascals and takes the lead on our health and safety measures at the nursery.

Millie has worked as a Room Leader for our Under Two room since 2019 and is now covering Maternity Leave as a Deputy Manager, taking the lead on settling in our new children, and monitoring and supporting the team with planning and observations.
