Little Rascals Nursery is situated in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

The nursery is located on Lonsdale Gardens in a beautiful three-storey converted house.

It is located only a short walk from Tunbridge Wells train station.

The nursery is open full-time from 7:30 am – 6:30 pm caring for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Staff work with parents to gain information about their child’s learning at home to help children develop a range of skills.

The nursery chef and a paediatric dietician create tasty, healthy meals every day to meet the needs of each age range.

My daughter and son have both attended Little Rascals. My son has just moved up from toddler room to younger pre-school and the transition has gone very well. He has attended since he was about 9 months and I could not recommend it enough. He has grown so much in confidence and the teachers are amazing.
They have created such a creative, stimulating, nurturing environment and he is always so excited to tell me about his day. I feel so comfortable leaving him with teachers that really care for the children and love their jobs!

My Daughter attended Little Rascals Nursery for two years. From the moment she arrived at 11 months old they took great care of her, nurturing her through each stage as she transitioned from the baby room to the toddler room and providing her with the confidence to go on to pre-prep.
The facilities
are great, with a vast range of toys and fab garden area that they use come rain or shine. All the carers do really care and our daughter built up such a strong bond with her key person and would be excited to go in and see her and tell her about her weekend.
The games and crafts are so imaginative and Little Rascals is constantly thinking of new ways to entertain and teach the children through different forms of play. Our daughter has learnt so much from Little Rascals and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parents looking for a nursery in Tunbridge Wells.

My daughter started about a year after the nursery opened and had a lovely time. My son is about to move from the nursery building to the preschool building. The nursery is managed impressively well. My son has always been keen to go to nursery. The warm welcome from staff every morning really helps!
The manager, his key worker and all colleagues are very approachable and happy to discuss how my son’s day has been and any developmental steps. The staff have a very positive attitude and really do everything they can to help out.
I would definitely recommend Little Rascals nursery. It is hard to hand your child over to a nursery for the first time, but it helps that the staff really care about each child. We will really miss everyone when our son moves to the preschool building. The support for the transition has been great and we are glad we are getting a warm welcome in the preschool building too.

Two of our children have now attended Little Rascals and it is an excellent setting. We love the weekly and termly themes that they apply, as we can support the learning at home. Our 3-year-old came home one time and told us that he understood photosynthesis and promptly explained it to us! Another
time he was so inspired by the Greek Mythology theme and the Medusa hat he'd made, that we had to go to the library to find more books on Greek Mythology so we could read about it at home. This love of learning and encouraging curiosity is a real strength of Little Rascals and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering sending their child there.

Both my sons attended Little Rascals, moving from the nursery building to the preschool building as they grew up. The nursery and preschool are run and organised very well. My children were happy and settled, developed a lovely relationship with their key workers and were always excited to tell me what
they had been doing during the day (which was always lots and well varied). I always received a detailed handover upon collection and was kept up to date via the weekly news about events, celebrations, policy and staffing. I found the staff to be very approachable in all aspects and they really seemed to care about the little ones, going the extra mile to meet any needs of the children and parents. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Little Rascals to other parents.

Our son has now spent 6 months at Little Rascals and we are extremely impressed with the level of care and service provided. Our son actively is excited by going to Nursery and has shown real development in language. He chats happily about the staff he spends time with and also tells us about the interesting,
and often themed, activities he is part of. Would very much recommend.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! My second child is now at Little Rascals after my daughter had 4 extremely happy years there. My little boy is now thriving, and after 6 months at the nursery, his development has been huge. He has grown in confidence, made friends and learnt so many things.
Above all, I know he is happy and nurtured with extremely caring and supportive staff. It is a family environment and I am so pleased both my children have had the opportunity to be part of it.

I could not recommend this nursery more highly. The level of care and attention given to the children is excellent. All of the staff are friendly and fun - I felt that they genuinely cared about the children rather than it being a job for them.
The activities that are put on for the children are fantastic
and wide ranging and not the sort of things you’d normally do at home. My daughter loved her 2 years at Little Rascals and has grown in confidence as a result.

We chose Little Rascals because of its proximity to the station and because 2 other mums recommended it.
We were very pleased to see that our baby settled in quickly and never cried (age 13 months and not used to leaving me).
We love all the activities, a lot of outdoors and the fact that two of the
teachers speak Italian. Our child loves the food, in spite of being very fussy at home.
We love that (unlike another nursery who has a policy of not picking up children when crying) Little Rascals staff give plenty of cuddles.
The staff manager, according to her staff, really cares about them (and, visibly, about the children).
My work paid some days at another nursery as a work benefit recently but our child did not settle in and became very tearful and clingy for days after. This has never happened in Little Rascals, further proof that we are in the right place.
Other places are run like money making machines. Not Little Rascals.
Also, the recent refurbishments and garden improvement are a nice plus!

My son loves Little Rascals Nursery and all the staff!
He is always learning new things and being encouraged to develop on things he already knows. The staff are exceptional and even when my son is having an off day I have no doubt they will do everything they can to ensure he is still getting the
most of his day and enjoying himself.
Having seen the recent refurbishment of Little Rascals Pre School, I can't wait to see the planned improvements at the nursery.
I’m always greeted by a happy smiley face, sometimes my son gets distressed at drop off and we have lots of tears but it’s made so much easier by the warm welcome from the team.

The baby and pre-toddler room at Littel Rascals is a very loving, warm environment and my son is thriving there.
I have no doubts or worries when I drop him off and am appreciative of the low staff turnover. The staff are so positive - they always greet him happily when we arrive and he is excited
to see them. I do hope the staff are appropriately rewarded as it is to them we as parents owe so much.

Little Rascals from the start has been such a special place for my daughter, I was recommended them by a friend and was so relieved and excited when she got a place, I instantly felt reassured leaving her and never worry about her being there even from a young age. It can be very daunting in the first
few weeks but they were a huge support to not only her but me too!
Now she absolutely loves it, our family all love the team - it feels like a little family. The manager's are supportive with any queries and the work the key worker put into her report was outstanding, it was like a lovely memory book of her time which we'll keep forever.
I'm actually dreading the day it's time for her to move on. Wonderful team behind it and high recommend it.

I now have 2 children at this wonderful nursery! I have recommended Little Rascals to close friends and family - who are also there. I also recommend to anyone I meet and asks me about childcare.
Not only do I know my children are safe and looked after but I also know - and trust - that the staff here
all care about the individual characters of my one and three year old - openly enjoying their sense of humour, cheekiness and development.
I trust I will be told if there is a concern just as much as I trust they will follow teaching plans, my own specific instructions and those of the child (as they get more and more bossy!)
The staff and management of the nursery couldn't be more helpful with additional days, changes to details or questions about funding.
Most importantly though, when I ask my daughter, she tells me they love going to preschool. And I have tears from my son when I pick him up!

Gemma has worked at Little Rascals since opening in 2011, and has worked her way up from a Nursery Assistant to Deputy Manager!


Gemma gained her Level 3 qualification in Childcare and education as well as IOSH training since starting with Little Rascals and takes the lead on our health and safety measures at the nursery.

Millie has worked as a Room Leader for our Under Two room since 2019 and is now covering Maternity Leave as a Deputy Manager, taking the lead on settling in our new children, and monitoring and supporting the team with planning and observations.
