Little Rascals Pre-Prep is situated in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, on Clanricarde Gardens.

The Pre-Prep is housed in a stunning Edwardian converted house and is located only a short walk from Tunbridge Wells train station.

The Pre-Prep is split over two floors with the younger children on the lower floor. When developmentally ready, children transition to the upper floor.

Activities are play-based and centred around school readiness and preparing the children for the next big milestone in their development and learning.

The Pre-Prep has an outside play area where children explore and discover the natural world around them. This provides countless opportunities for the children to investigate the awe and wonder of outdoor learning.

The Pre-Prep also offers extra-curricular activities for children which include Phonics sessions and community visits to help children experience social activities outside the nursery setting.

I can not recommend Little Rascals pre-prep enough. The manager and the team are friendly, happy and approachable with any enquiries you may have, and quick to answer them. The way they have handled covid has been incredibly reassuring. My daughter comes away from nursery happy, full of stories and
exhausted from such a fun day! Thank you for making the process easy and stress-free for me to return to work knowing my child is safe with you.

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery. Staff are fantastic and are always helpful with anything you need to know. Best nursery in the area, will not hesitate to send my youngest in the future.

On the occasions I’ve picked up my granddaughter, I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. My granddaughter loves it here, and is always kept entertained by the various activities. Would highly recommend this childcare setting.

We are very pleased with the decision we made to send our son to Little Rascals Pre-Prep, and I would always recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery for their child. The management and staff have always been extremely friendly, kind, caring and supportive, always greeting us with a smile. It feels
like you are leaving your child with family and we always enjoy to hear the fun stories of the day from our son when he gets home! Our son has developed a lot in the time he has been with Little Rascals, and we have no doubts that a big part of that is the care and attention he is given by the staff and the fun but educational activities they conduct. It is always helpful to hear their informative feedback on our son at the end of the day. From a personal perspective, working in the City, the location of Little Rascals Pre-Prep being so close to the train station is fantastic. Thank you to all the staff and management for taking such great care of our son!

Little Rascals is amazing! The staff are caring, warming and nurturing - it really does have a family feel. They have good facilities and outdoor space - the children are out in the garden regularly which is great to see. My daughter was very happy at Little Rascals - having fun, making friends and
very fond of the staff. Little Rascals' activities always seem fun and imaginative, their transition to school also really helped boost my daughter's confidence for school. My son also attends and every time I pick him up, he doesn't want to leave which says it all really. Would highly recommend Little Rascals nursery and pre-prep.

What an incredible start my grandson has had as he begins his exciting, educational journey. Our twins attended Little Rascals over the past year (with Covid in between) and it’s been wonderful. Beautiful building, excellent clean facilities and key workers and management who seem to live their job and kids. And most importantly, we always had two very happy little boys after their sessions.
We are sad to leave now that school is starting. Thank you to all, it’s been great.

My daughter has been with Little Rascals since she was a 6-month-old baby through to leaving to start school. I have been absolutely delighted with the care that she has received. The team are so kind and caring and make the effort to really understand your child's likes and dislikes, names of siblings,
pets etc and really engage with the children on their level. The activities and space are fantastic, and my daughter had so much fun playing, getting messy, baking, being creative as well as learning whilst playing. The location is fantastic for commuting and space inside and out is great; light airy rooms which flow and exciting outdoor space. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Rascals.

My daughter loves going to Little Rascals - since returning after the few months of closure for Covid-19 she is so happy and excited to go in each day, and wants to go in every day of the week! She is learning so much and the staff are obviously so supportive of each child and what they need. My daughter
has been attending the nursery and preschool since she was 1, and she is just about to leave to go to school. They have been so encouraging of the children who are moving on next month - she is very much looking forward to going to school and I know a great deal of that is because of the support of Little Rascals. The buildings and gardens are always laid out so invitingly, with new exciting things for the children to do and explore, and always kept very clean!

My daughter has been at Little Rascals for just under a year and absolutely loves going in!! The staff are wonderful and treat her like their own. A fantastic nursery/preschool. Both of my daughters have attended from younger nursery age up to preschool to leave for school.
Every day I picked them up, they didn’t want to leave! That says it all.
I have nothing negative to say. Amazing nursery teachers, good food menu and great resources and
toys in the rooms.

My son has just left Little Rascals Pre-Prep as he is starting school next month. He joined the Little Rascals Nursery at 11-months-old. He has had many wonderful experiences at Little Rascals and he is leaving a confident, inquisitive, kind and happy little boy. We feel that Little Rascals has prepared
him well for school. He has developed many social skills as well as made good progress in both maths and literacy. Throughout his time at Little Rascals we as a family have felt supported by the wonderful staff, both our son’s keyworker and the managers. They have shown us real kindness when our family has faced challenging times. Little Rascals has provided our son with a nurturing and happy environment and he has clearly benefited from his time there. I was particularly impressed when the staff specifically prepared activities based on my son’s interests. I would definitely recommend Little Rascals to any parent. Our baby is due to start in the nursery next year when I return to work.

I picked up my grandson today for the first time since his return after COVID and I was so impressed with how well organised it was, there was a few people waiting outside but nobody has to wait very long and still got a very detailed handover! It's so lovely for him to be at a place he loves so much.

My son is leaving nursery come September to start reception, he has had the best few years at Little Rascals pre-prep and has come on leaps and bounds. Not only has his learning hugely improved his eating habits to which I have struggled with for years.
Will be very sad to see him leave Little Rascals.

We are sadly just about to end our 6 1/2 year relationship with Little Rascals, having had both my sons attend since they were 1 year old, and we couldn't be happier. Both have thrived and flourished there, and the warm and nurturing staff have assisted their development and improved their confidence
as each year has gone by.
The pre-school team is incredibly supportive and the activities the children do each day are themed, imaginative, fun and educational. They have an excellent reputation for preparing children very well for school. Their response to the Coronavirus situation was superb, excellent communication and flexible approach. I cannot rate this Nursery highly enough and we leave with very fond memories.

My son has been with Little Rascals Nursery and then Pre-Prep for two years and is about to leave Pre-Prep for school.
As a parent, the experience with Little Rascals could not have been any better. An absolutely wonderful environment for the children and an almost family-like feel with the staff.
Great facilities and lots of learning as well as fun activities. My son loves his time there and I will be sad to leave this chapter of his life behind.
What a lovely journey we, as a family, have had with Little Rascals Nursery and Pre-Prep.

Bryony has worked at Little Rascals since 2017, working her way up from nursery practitioner to Pre-Prep Manager.
She has loved working with all of the age groups through the nursery and Pre-Prep and loves getting messy and crafty with the children.


She has a BA(Hons) degree in Childhood and Youth studies and Educational studies.

Raechal has worked at Little Rascals since 2022. She joined the team as part of the management team and brings with her 10+ years of knowledge and experience.


Raechal has a Passion for storytelling, creating stories with the children around anything and everything.
