My First Friends Droitwich is a nursery that embraces the great outdoors, nestled in the beautiful woodland of Droitwich. The setting takes pride in providing children with a stimulating environment for learning and development while encouraging outdoor play, come rain or shine. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The 'Dreamers' room, situated upstairs, caters to the youngest children up to about 16 months, with three adjoining rooms designed to offer ample space and natural light. Connected to this room is the 'Discoverers' room, catering to children aged from about 16 months to 2 years old. Both rooms are equipped with a range of equipment designed to encourage walking and promote steady development.

The 'Explorers' room is for children aged around 2 to 3 years old and is divided into four smaller areas, allowing the team to focus on the individual developmental needs of each child. The Pre-School area for children aged around 3 to 4 years old is split into three smaller rooms, providing plenty of space for children to learn and grow.

The garden area is equipped with an allotment where children can learn about sustainable living through planting and growing their own food. The garden also includes a play park situated within a vast woodland area on the nursery grounds. Here, children can enjoy a range of child-friendly equipment, including a sandpit, construction area, firepit, mud kitchen, and a bug hotel, affectionately known in the nursery as 'Buggingham Palace.' This setting provides an outdoor classroom for children to connect with nature and enjoy learning in a unique environment.

My First Friends Droitwich. My child attends three days a week and soon starts their next journey onto reception at first school we can not recommend enough how far our child has come along since joining My First Friends, their confidence has bloomed, as has her speech, skills and development.
The
nursery is welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond for the children in their care, and not only do the staff make learning fun children learn so much in preparation for their school years ahead.
As parents, we highly recommend this nursery setting to anyone looking to take this step for their children to start at a great nursery.

Care of the children is to an excellent standard. Cannot fault the nursery staff, always very helpful, thoughtful and brilliant with the kids.
Unfortunately, the running of the business is what lets the nursery down. Still being charged £17.20 per day in addition to wrap-around costs (with the full
30 free hours being claimed) is the worst part. How the nursery justifies this I don’t know. Having to still pay the £17.20 (which covers suncream, nappies, food etc) when the nursery isn’t even open (bank holidays) I find absolutely barmy. I understand why people chose other nurseries (who charge around £20 for the whole month for food and other additional costs). This is a shame because the actual nursery is excellent and the kids love it.

My daughter has settled really well into the dreamer's room which is all down to the fantastic staff who are so caring. From day one we have felt welcomed at the nursery and I know that she is well looked after during the day which makes leaving her so much easier.
We love seeing all the activities
that she gets involved in and she comes home so happy every day. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking.

My First Friends is good, it used to be excellent but unfortunately, since being taken over and the manager going on leave, there has clearly been a drop in standards. The new app is not very good, it is a shame that we only now get one update a week on how our child is doing, previously it was daily.
Often some updates e.g. naps/meals/nappy changes are not uploaded and we have to ask about these when we pick our daughter up. The daily updates were something that was sold to us when we chose the nursery so for them to change a few months later was quite disappointing. Having said all the above, our child is thriving, her speech is coming along nicely. She always seems happy when we pick her up. All the staff seem friendly and they seem to genuinely care about our child.

My First Friends Droitwich is simply amazing. My little boy (now 12 months old) has been attending since June 2022, and already, he has a fantastic bond with the members of staff that work most closely with him. From the moment I went to look around, I felt welcomed and I got the instant feeling that
my son would be safe and well looked after, as though he was one of their own children. It was also exceptionally clean! I love the app that is used to keep me updated throughout the day, and it's so heartwarming to see all the lovely activities that the nursery do with the children including outdoor play and water play in the hot weather! I literally cannot fault any part of this nursery and sincerely thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for my little man.

Overall a pleasant setting, the manager seems to truly care and wants to give the children good opportunities to progress. Some of the staff let the team down when interacting with parents, however, there are some staff who are just fantastic. Our key workers have been so good with our child and even

Our daughter started preschool in September and thoroughly enjoys going each day. The care the staff provide for the children is exceptional. Our daughter has additional needs and all staff have been very supportive and understanding of her differences. Nothing has ever been too much for them. We couldn’t

My daughter has been attending My First Friends Droitwich since she was 11 months old, she has built strong relationships with staff members and children alike. She always enjoys going and I have always felt that she was being well looked after and engaged in the daily activities - the outdoor space
is amazing. The only aspect I feel could be improved is the communication of how my daughter has been progressing in terms of the EYFS stages. This used to be relayed well through the app and on reports up until 12 months ago when it was advised that the Government no longer required nurseries to provide such reports to parents, however I found them valuable in terms of seeing how my daughter was progressing and now only get a basic summary of her progress at parents evenings. My daughter will be leaving for school this September, her self confidence and social skills have really improved by attending My First Friends and I know she will really miss coming.

My son has been at the nursery for 2-years now, and I can not fault it. They are amazing with him and now with his little brother. They always do lovely activities all day when they are there and the food provided is better than anything I could do at home! They have been introduced to new flavours
every week and they both eat really well when they are there. The girls who have looked after both of them have been amazing throughout the whole time they’ve both been there and if it wasn’t for the nursery I wouldn’t have been able to go back to university when I had my son and back to work when I had my other son. There is no other place I would trust with both my children and I’m so happy I found this nursery when I did!

My daughter has been here for a month now. She's settled in very quickly with the friendly staff. Loves the garden time and crafts. Great room with plenty of space for creative play. Love the app being able to see a picture of my daughter having fun and being able to check if she's had a nap/eaten while
I'm working makes it a lot easier.

Wonderful staff my son loves it here, his speech has come on amazingly since he started a short while ago. He loves his room and his new little friends, he has a great attachment to one of his room leaders.

My little boy loves nursery so much, he settled in immediately and cannot wait to go to nursery every morning. They have been excellent in terms of communication regarding my child's development and are always happy to have a chat at the end of the day when I'm collecting him.

My son started in the baby room in December, the whole team have been amazing with helping to settle him in and get him into a new routine!
My son had never left me before starting at the nursery so it was a massive change for him, but all the team have done an amazing job with him now he smiles every
time I leave him.

My son has attended nursery here full time since he was 9 months old and he absolutely loves it! It's a fantastic nursery and i couldn't wish for a better place to send him too. I love that we receive daily updates on what he's been up to and what he's eaten throughout the day. The staff are lovely.

My daughter was born during the first lockdown and therefore hadn’t socialised with other adults or children until she started at My First Friends. Thanks to their patience she’s now a confident, sociable toddler. They also have great facilities.

I started back at work in Droitwich so managed to get my son back into My First Friends, as I love it there. The staff are brilliant, and the activities the kids get up to on a daily basis are brilliant. Also the variety of foods they try, it’s not every day you get chance to create new things. Well
worth the money!

My son has been at My First Friends for 18 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring, accommodating and the communication is always excellent. The outside facilities are amazing and the children do such a range of activities. I can't thank the staff enough for their support for not
only my child but also us as parents, especially with the pressure of a pandemic! Every member of staff is first aid trained which gives me huge peace of mind when you're leaving your child for the day knowing they will be safe. So glad we chose this nursery!

My First Friends is a welcoming and friendly nursery. Our daughter has been attending this nursery since August 2020 and she absolutely loves it. The staff are very kind and attentive, I cannot recommend this nursery enough. We relocated to a new area and therefore our daughter had to leave a nursery
she loved, naturally we were anxious. However, the staff were so understanding and caring, we really didn’t have any concerns after her first week, she settled in so quickly. My First Friends have a great outdoor space, there are lots of outdoor toys, a vegetable patch and woodland type area. Our daughter regularly participates in arts and crafts and they have daily activities for the children to take part in.
