The Winchmore Hill Day Nursery

I can’t fault the nursery. The care they give to my child is unbelievable. I trust the team implicitly and they focus on her and her individual needs despite the group nature of the care. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I highly recommend Winchmore Hill Preschool. Our child was unhappy at other nurseries he had attended and the difference at this one is that the staff really care about the children. I truly feel they care about his wellbeing and emotions. Making sure to greet them at the door every morning and accompany them to their room and bringing them out for a one on one chat with the parents at the end of every day. They do so many amazing activities with them that I would never be able to fulfil with him at home with dedicated art class and yoga. We are so happy we have a safe, loving place for him to be all day while we are working.

We are both thrilled with the care, attention and encouragement our child receives at The Winchmore Hill Preschool. We were automatically welcomed from the moment she came in and made to feel at ease. They are well equipped with a range of toys and activities to keep her happy and engaged! Everyone is incredibly friendly and the constant communication via the app to keep us informed on what they have been doing but equally, our child's progress week on week, is even more than we hoped for. We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough and feel lucky that we were able to secure our child a place here. We both feel completely confident leaving them in the capable hands of the staff. The Best PreSchool/Nursery in the whole of North London! My son absolutely loves attending and is happy and content. The kindest and most dedicated childcare staff I’ve ever come across. They are all an asset and I’m very grateful to them.

Really happy with the nursery our son is thriving there. Staff are great and there are lots of structured activities. Good feedback on the app each week. Would highly recommend! Good outdoor space and play area too.

We have been very pleased with the care our child has received since starting at the nursery. The staff are knowledgeable and caring, they take into consideration children's interests and plan fun and engaging activities. They get to know the children well and communicate with families well. The children are kept safe and the setting is well resourced and kept clean and tidy. The recent Ofsted inspection shows a true reflection of a wonderful setting! Would definitely recommend!

Our son is 14 months old and has been attending Winchmore Hill Preschool since he was 11 months old. The staff are so wonderful with him, he's cared for so well, and as a parent, I feel totally confident leaving him (which seemed terrifying at first!). I feel so lucky that he is able to attend and he has truly built a wonderful, genuine relationship with his key worker and the staff. He's always happy when I pick him up. I would 100% recommend this Preschool. I love that the details of his day are uploaded to his care diary, along with key milestones, and pictures of what he's been doing that week - really makes me feel like I'm not missing out on anything.

We have been really happy with the level of care for our three-year-old at The Winchmore Hill Preschool. He always comes home at the end of the day in a great mood, telling us about all the things he has done. The staff seem to really care and greet us each day with a big smile.

My daughter has been attending Winchmore Hill Preschool since she was 1 year old. She was 10 weeks premature at birth. The nursery has cared for my daughter exceptionally well. Addressing her individual needs in relation to her prematurity and development. The staff were very caring towards her in a genuine way. I have always trusted their care. I could not have placed her in better care. She is now 2.5 years old and enjoys attending nursery. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

I started my journey of looking for a nursery for my son. I went to a lot of viewings around the area and saw many nurseries, but nothing felt right until I came across The Winchmore Hill Nursery (Three Little Birds) which was not only convenient and close by to where I lived, but every single member of staff working there is beyond outstanding. They work together, work extremely hard and provide the best possible care to all the children there. I was amazed at the level of professionalism with the education provided with the extra activities and the food menu, the parents' app to see how you child is developing with detailed explanations and pictures, to see what projects they are working on etc. I have spoken to many parents and families and I have yet to come across someone that disagrees with everything I have mentioned. Ultimately, I take my hat off to all of the hardworking staff that are trained to such high standards that is unmatched in North London.

Before moving to the area and selecting Winchmore Hill Preschool, our son was at a nursery that was part of a well known, large chain. We were happy with our previous nursery but Winchmore Hill Preschool takes care, learning and creativity to the next level. The staff are always available, helpful and responsive. The communication is excellent. The activities for children are varied and incredibly stimulating, supporting high levels of creativity and learning. We are extremely impressed. Our son loves the nursery and is filled with enthusiasm. We couldn't be happy with Winchmore Hill Preschool.

I could not ask for a better place for my daughter! She is only too happy to be there. I can see she loves it. She has been going there for 3 years now and I can't imagine a more confident and happy child! Thank you!

Our two girls have been at the Winchmore Hill Preschool for almost a year now. My eldest moved from another nursery which I thought would be difficult for her but all the staff here were extremely helpful and kind when settling her in making the experience enjoyable. My youngest struggled with the separation and again the staff were extremely comforting. The girls have been so happy here, they love going in every day and adore their teachers. The activities and facilities are superb. Especially the art room. They eat well so the food must be great!

My daughter has been at The Winchmore Hill Preschool for nearly 2 years, and our son is due to start there soon too. We have been delighted with it since the first day - our daughter has formed strong bonds with the wonderful staff throughout her journey, from the baby room to the toddler room and now to the preschool itself. She loves going to nursery and often talks affectionately about her friends and the staff. The preschool has also really helped her development - she's outgoing, confident, and always wanting to learn - we attribute much of that to the environment at WH Preschool. We are excited for our son to begin his own journey there soon.

We couldn't be happier with Winchmore Hill Preschool. Our child joined last summer and since then he's really grown - he's always having so much fun and has learned so much. The preschool are really good at identifying what the kids love, and then helping them to explore and express that passion. The facilities are fantastic, the activities are brilliant. The staff are also amazing, in particular they have been supporting us work through some, at times, challenging behavioural issues with our son.

My son has been at The Winchmore Hill Preschool for 9 months now. The settling in period was really good despite the circumstances with Covid. The Principal, Vice-Principal and staff in the baby room made every effort to make the process easy for us with our first child starting nursery and he settled in very quickly. His key workers have all been incredible, both in the baby and toddler room he is now in. The communication is good, using an online portal to upload reports, photos of activities and a care diary outlining meals, sleep etc. The facilities and activities are all excellent and he has developed a lot over the last 9 months in terms of language and independence. The food is also healthy and varied. The fees are expensive but this is the case at all nurseries so not specific to this nursery. The last year or so has been difficult for new parents and I'm so happy to say The Winchmore Hill Preschool have played a huge part in making our son's care very easy and happy.

Our ten month old started at the nursery in June and we couldn't be happier. The staff are all excellent and helped her settle in quickly. They have plenty of activities to keep her engaged and she particularly loves the sensory room. It has given us peace of mind to know our baby is in such wonderful, experienced hands.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since March and she absolutely loves it. All the staff have been so welcoming and kind to her. The staff genuinely care about the children, which is not something you come across every day. Can't fault the nursery in any way.

Her speech, behaviour and social skills are amazing and we credit that to the nursery. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
