The Winchmore Hill Day Nursery

Very happy with all the staff, they are very friendly, kind and genuinely care about children. I was very nervous when my child started nursery but I can see huge difference in him now and he is happy to go to Nursery and tells me all about his friends:)

Winchmore hill preschool is a second home for our kids. They treat our kids like their family. They have exceptionally high hygiene and food standards. They keep them stimulated and active throughout the day. They teach them. We are so glad we have this nursery, and that our kids can go here. This review is from a dad of 3, all of them have gone here and have come out thriving.

The nursery has played such an important role in our child's early years and we're incredibly grateful for the care, encouragement and happy memories they've provided. We and our child have truly loved our time with the nursery.

Our son loves the nursery and so do we! From our initial visit we knew we had made the right decision. The team are warm, friendly and creative and design a vast array of stimulating activities and experiences. This has included shopping trips, some fabulous art based on the modern greats like Jackson Pollock and baking! The catering is good and offers balanced nutrition and the team are very inclusive responding to needs. There's a fairly consistent team which is great as it enables your child to form strong bonds. We get comprehensive updates and the app is really helpful. I would highly recommend, you will not regret it!

The nursery provides such a warm, nurturing environment, and the homemade meals are always a big hit with my son. My husband and I are truly thankful for the love, care, and support shown to our child every single day.

The warmth all the staff show towards my children is so comforting. I'm constantly reassured that my children are in the best hands and are eating delicious nutritious meals via photographs, messages and observations. They have helped shape my children into confident, polite and extremely happy little boys and girls. I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they have done for us as a family. The biggest thank you!

We've had a fantastic experience since joining this nursery over six months ago. Our little one settled in really well and has genuinely grown so much confidence thanks to the help and support of all of the staff. She runs in each morning with a smile on her face, which is all we could have hoped for and more.

We love the Winchmore Hill day nursery, where we have been sending our son since he was 14 months old, and feel very lucky to have found such a brilliant nursery for him. He is now in the rising three room and the staff go above and beyond to support his development and well-being. We get great hand-overs every day with the different activities he has been doing. A big plus is the varied and nutritious menu prepared fresh by the chef every day. The management and staff are brilliant, getting to know each child and family individually.

I couldn't have found a better place for my baby. The staff truly care for her and always make her feel safe, loved, and happy. She has so much fun every day, learns new things all the time, and comes home smiling.

It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in such caring and professional hands. I'm so grateful for all the love, patience, and attention they give her. Highly recommended!

An excellent nursery providing high-quality care and a wide range of engaging, age-appropriate activities. Amazing nursery and dedicated hardworking staff. I would recommend this nursery to everyone; I trust them with my child's safety and happiness but also with their first steps in education. My children have been attending this nursery for the past 3 years and I only have the best things to say about everyone there.

And the food is banging! She has a nicer diet than me!

Our older daugher went to this nursery in 2020/2021 and i wouldnt consider putting our youngest daughter anywhere else, 5 years later and its still a fantastic nursery. When i leave my daughter at the door she is happy and content and excited to go in, i feel very comfortable with leaving her with the staff there. In the area i think it is one of the best!

I feel my son is in an environment which is allowing him to excel in his abilities and the interaction with the staff and his class members i feel that he feels comfortable and safe and more importantly I think he is enjoying himself.

We looked around a lot of other nurseries before and this one just stood out to us.

Great facility with professional and friendly staff. I have sent my 2 children there and cannot speak highly enough of the overall experience. Both children have made such good bonds with all staff and now that my daughter has progressed to school she loves returning to see them everyone

They make transitions, such as moving up rooms, gentle and reassuring for children and parents. The food is exceptional, with a wide range of nutritious, delicious meals. I couldn't be more grateful for the positive, nurturing environment the staff strive to create. Highly recommended.

Winchmore Hill Day Nursery is simply amazing. The activities are enriching and my 2 year old loves going to nursery everyday. As a parent to know your child is happy, safe and well cared for is so important. The nursery itself feels bright, warm and welcoming. The staff take care of all children as if they were their own and Helen the manager does an excellent job at ensuring the nursery runs smoothly. My child also LOVES the food at nursery so shout out to the chef for a fantastic job!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! I came to visit when my daughter was under 1 & from the moment I met Helen & walked around, I knew this was the nursery she had to go to. There were no spaces at the time but with constant checking (begging?), we eventually got a place! Fast forward 3 years, I am so glad we did. Helen is a fabulous leader & all the staff are outstanding & consistent. They don't leave & you can feel the 'family' feel amongst them. There are so many things tailored to different ages. From the sensory room, lovely cot space, yoga lessons by specialist Yogi, Art room with a specialist teacher..the list goes on. Also, inclusiveness is evident. So many displays that show off all the festivals that the children learn about. There are healthy menus, clear procedures &daily updates online.The staff are creative & offer so many fun activities. The outdoor space is well used & interior is clean & modern. Overall, my daughter learns, is safe, has fun & loves nursery

We are very happy with the standard of care at The Winchmore Hill Day Nursery. Our children have always been welcomed with a smile, but more importantly, they always go in with a smile and full of excitement for their day ahead. Whenever we have raised any concerns or questions with regards to our children, the staff have always been exceptionally supportive and ready to work with us to address any major developments (e.g potty training, giving up the dummy etc). As parents, the care, development and safety of your child is of the utmost importance and Winchmore Hill Day Care exceed in all areas.
