Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham

My daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham since she was four months old. I planned on her attending for one year while I finished my degree but we fell in love with the nursery and my daughter blossomed so beautifully that she is still there now, almost three years later! We have had the best experience at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham from the baby room, through to toddler and now up to preschool and my daughter absolutely loves it. Anytime she does feel anxious about attending nursery all the staff are really reassuring and encourage her to feel confident and comfortable. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham always goes above and beyond to be accommodating and supportive to both myself and my daughter. The quality of care is excellent and the way the children are allowed to grow and explore is exactly what my daughter loves. She talks warmly about her teachers and friends at home and we truly couldn’t recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham enough. A huge thank you to all staff and management for always showing such brilliant care.

My son joined Monkey Puzzle Eltham in February 2020, for a couple of days a week, in the baby room. He struggled to settle in at first but as we started to turn a corner the pandemic hit. After being at home for 3 months, I was anxious about him returning, however, the staff at Monkey Puzzle were ever so helpful and reassuring and together, we agreed he would return but move into the toddler room. Best decision ever. He came on in leaps and bounds within a matter of a few weeks, his key worker and other staff in the toddler room are fantastic and my son loves all of them. It’s so wonderful to watch him jump with excitement, as we arrive each morning. My son will soon be moving up to the pre-school room and as much as it is daunting, I’m really excited for him to make the move and to watch him grow in confidence. All the staff I’ve had interaction with, are polite and always happy to go above and beyond to help. A big thank you to Monkey Puzzle.

The staff are all warm and fun and clearly genuinely care for the children which is the most important thing in my opinion.

I have been using Monkey Puzzle for a year and ultimately, I'm happy for my child to still be there. The kids seem happy and mine is always smiling when they come out. The room teams and management are quick to respond to concerns and help with development plans if needed. I particularly appreciate the daily books outlining what they've done for the day.

My son has attended the nursery since the baby room and is now in the pre-school room, he always comes back smiling and his key workers have all been amazing in all rooms. The nursery is very well organised and informative. I cannot wait for when my 2nd son starts soon in the baby room in a few weeks.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 10 months old, he will be 2 in April and is moving to the toddler's room. I have never had any problems with the staff or the nursery. Any queries I have had, they were dealt with immediately and professionally. Most of the staff really make an effort to update you with your child's daily activity and development which I find very satisfying. I highly recommend this nursery. My son started here after we moved to the area just before the first lockdown started. He used to be so afraid and cry before going into his old nursery and it would be so hard for me to leave him in such a state. Since starting here at Monkey Puzzle, Eltham, he has grown into a bright, outgoing and helpful little boy. He comes home daily happy and fills me in on all the fun he has had during the day. I couldn’t fault the staff at all. Any issues we have had have been addressed and we’re sorted straight away. A special appreciation is needed for my son's key worker who he had formed a close bond with and will speak about her days after being at nursery. He will be leaving to start school in September and I am sure his amazing experience here will make him confident in starting reception in a few months. Thank you to all at Monkey Puzzle.

My son has settled in so well. He even smiles as we approach the door. It was daunting for me as a first time mum leaving my baby at the nursery but the staff team are phenomenal. It is obvious they enjoy their jobs and enjoy working with one another. I didn't need to think about my baby while at work as I know he is in good hands. Thank you so much Monkey Puzzle. I have never left a review for anywhere before but I wanted to leave this to say how incredible this nursery is for any parents/carers out there that may be nervously searching for nurseries for their little ones. My daughter started here at 18 months and I was extremely nervous about leaving her in a new place where we didn't know anybody but I am so, so pleased I took the chance on Monkey Puzzle. The staff are fantastic. My daughter moved up to a new room this summer and it has been the making of her. She used to be incredibly upset at drop off as she was very, very attached to me. The staff have shown so much patience, warmth and reassurance and have done and said all of the right things to build her confidence, gain her trust and reassure me. I have gone from peeling my little one off of me to her running into nursery happy and waving me goodbye. She has a great bond with all of the ladies that work in her room, the office and is making friends and learning lots in the process.

My child loves coming to the nursery and he is very well cared for and he loves all the different activities he does there.

My son starting attending Monkey Puzzle at 11 months old. I found this extremely difficult due to separation issues. However, the managers and staff made me feel at ease by reassuring me, giving me regular feedback, sending home images of my son whilst enjoying his time at nursery and learning new things.

My son has now transitioned into the next room and he absolutely loves it and the staff too! This nursery has helped my son develop confidence, social skills and they undergo many activities which I can see he is learning from day to day!

I have been really happy that we made the decision to send her to this nursery.

Our son has been at the nursery since the opening last year. He moved through the rooms with ease and excitement and is now in preschool where he enjoys lots of different activities. The staff are so good with him, they are incredibly caring and communicate everything we need to know. Knowing he is safe, eating well, enjoying the fresh air, learning, interacting with his friends and enjoying himself under the care of this nursery makes our time away from him at work a lot easier.

My daughter started at this nursery when she was 11 months old and she was VERY attached to me so naturally, I was anxious about her starting, especially a new nursery where I didn't know anyone. As expected, my daughter did struggle in her first couple of weeks but her key workers listened and found the ways to distract her, she likes cuddles and loves music and singing songs, and now she loves her nursery days. She is a very, happy, confident, daring little girl and I feel her nursery setting only adds to that.

Wonderful nursey. All the staff are lovely and made me feel really comfortable about my daughter going to nursey for the first time. The children are always active, taking part in seasonal activities and encouraged to do so at home. The toddler room staff are always happy and welcoming when my daughter arrives every day.

My son started at the nursery in January and he loves it there. The staff are great and engage so well with the children. There are plenty of activities for the children to do and lots of learning opportunities. I'm really happy with the progress my son has made since joining the nursery and would happily recommend it to others.
