Monkey Puzzle Eltham is a brand new children's day nursery offering full day care and half day care sessions, to children aged 3 months up to 5 years.

The nursery is part of an award-winning nursery group and proud to provide high-quality childcare and excellent facilities.

Open times: Monday - Friday from 7.30 am - 6.30 pm, 51 weeks of the year. (Closed on Bank holidays and 1 week at Christmas)

Offering full daycare from 7.30 am - 6.30 pm as well as half day sessions. The morning session is from 7.30 am - 1.00 pm and the afternoon session is from 1.00pm - 6.30pm.

Funded sessions are also available.

Nursery fees include the following......nappies, wipes, formula milk, meals and snacks.

We really recommend this nursery - we have had 2 of our children attend and our third is due to start later this year. Every room has been such a great experience, they have a brilliant schedule of varied activities and the staff are so welcoming and lovely, they know every child so well. They are
really effective at making the children happy, our daughter loves going in to see her friends and we love hearing the stories of her day. Our daughter who left for primary school was so confident after being in this setting it really eased the transition into school for her.

My daughter started at Monkey Puzzle in August 2023, from our show around at the nursery it instantly felt right. We were shown all elements of each room, the structure of the day and exactly what developmental goals the staff would help our child to achieve.
It’s clean, bright, spacious and fun.
Children are taken outside every day which is so important, they are encouraged to play together and independently and our daughter loves it she goes in and out so happy every day! The staff eat with the children and my daughter eats things I could never get her to eat at home.
As a full-time working Mum, it’s what I need to be able to walk away and know my daughter is well cared for.
Everyone is really nice and friendly and they love the children so much!

As a first-time Mum, I was so apprehensive about sending my son to Nursery, but I needn’t have worried at all when it comes to Monkey Puzzle. Since the first week my son has been so happy arriving and leaving the nursery, I love all the pictures I receive of him throughout the day. I can see everything
that he has eaten throughout the day and all his nappy changes.
All the staff are so lovely and friendly and my son’s face lights up the minute he sees them. I couldn’t recommend this nursery any more!

My son is coming on leaps and bounds since starting recently. He is my second child to attend the nursery and I am so happy to have a setting I can trust will meet his needs and support him to develop. He loves his key workers and talks about her at home. Both of my children have attended Monkey Puzzle Eltham and experienced a nurturing, fun and creative environment, with teams in each room who clearly care deeply about every child. My daughter has just made a smooth transition from the Baby to Toddler rooms and I cannot praise highly enough the support
she received from the Baby Room team, as well as the management and kitchen staff, in light of her medical condition, which requires a special diet and care needs. Everyone went above and beyond and we’ll never forget their kindness, nor the massive smiles on our daughter’s face whenever she saw her key worker and other members of the team.

Great nursery. The care that is shown towards our son is very noticeable and comes across as genuine and sincere. Activities that take place are varied and staff always take time to discuss what has happened on the day.

I cannot say a bad word against Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Eltham. When you send your child/children to a nursery, you have many fears of how they will be treated/looked after, but I can honestly say I drop my son to such caring, kind, loving members of staff, and I walk away without a single fear. You
are updated throughout the day on everything your child has eaten, nappy changes, naps and many pictures of them having such fun. The variety of activities they offer the children to do each day is something I could never offer my child as a working parent, so knowing they are able to experience all this and are not missing out takes away some of the mum's guilt. This nursery is like an extended family to my children. I am forever thankful for the love and care both my children have received and are still receiving.

My boys have only been in this nursery for two months but have had the best experiences! They have been so happy and settled and really enjoy going to this nursery. This is the second nursery we have tried, and it has been 100 times better than their previous nursery. All those working there are so

My niece attends Monkey Puzzle Eltham 3 times a week and we couldn’t be happier with the staff and facilities provided to her, she is always so enthusiastic and excited on her days to attend which makes drop offs and pick ups a pleasure and never a dread. The online system is also great as I'm able

Absolutely love this nursery, all staff are brilliant and so kind (not just the teaching staff, all of them) I feel like I leave my daughter with a member of my family when I drop her in, very caring and they genuinely care for the children. My child has just finished his time at Monkey Puzzle, and we would really recommend this nursery. Since he started in 2020, it’s improved hugely in terms of its curriculum and education offered for the children. The staff are really good and enjoy being with children. My child has thrived since starting in the baby room in January. She may be grumpy at home sometimes, but she loves going to nursery and smiles all day. She adores the adults, and her physical and emotional development is well-supported.

This nursery is truly amazing. I took my son out of a nursery before coming to Monkey Puzzle and was so nervous about how it would be, but I shouldn’t have worried because he loves it, and the women are amazing. My son has thrived at Monkey Puzzle. He is always eager to start his day and get involved in the numerous activities that are prepared for the toddlers. I can honestly say I have not picked up my son (and I do pick him up at random times) and noticed he needs a nappy change. A true sign of great care.

My little girl is currently in the preschool room, and my baby boy is in the baby room, and I couldn't be happier with how both of them are getting on. I feel happy to leave them, knowing they will be cared for and happy. The communication I receive from the nursery is excellent; daily reports, photos

We could not be happier with this nursery! The staff are kind, honest, hard-working, and full of energy. They care so much about the children that they work with and plan fun, timely activities which link well to the interests of the children, the seasons, current events and focus books that they share
with the children. All of my children know that they are safe and cared for, they have fun every day and love the food too. A perfect start for our little ones. Thank you!

My review refers to since my son started the nursery in February. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, accommodating and very proactive. I have emailed them several times and they have always been responsive and willing to help.
They have really settled my son well into nursery and have been really

I have a BTEC National Diploma in childcare and education and have worked within the childcare industry for the past 16 years.


I have a vast amount of experience when it comes to running a nursery setting and I am extremely passionate about providing high standards of care and education to children.
I am also a mother myself to two young children, both of whom attended nursery settings during their earlier years. I therefore appreciate first hand, from a parent’s perspective, the importance of meeting children’s needs through providing a nurturing, high quality setting full of unique and wonderful learning opportunities.


I will also be a hands-on manager at Eltham and am very keen to work in partnership with parents as well as build relationships within the local community.

I have worked alongside my husband, in the Health and Safety industry, running our own Fire Protection company for the last 25 years.


Alongside offering a high standard of care and education to all children, high standards of health and safety within the nursery setting will always be our main objectives.
I have a huge amount of experience in accounts and HR and I am looking forward to working closely with the nursery staff and in partnership with parents and visitors to the nursery.
