Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park

Our daughters joined Chestnut Nursery (NRP) last year and the team have made the transition seamless. They're a wonderful team who all genuinely enjoy what they do. The space available to the children is second to none, with our daughters' favourite places being the forest garden and the bike garden.

We send our two children to Chestnut Nursery NRP and we couldn’t be happier. Our daughter is in the pre-school room and she absolutely loves it there. The staff are so kind and understanding of the children's differences in personalities. When we said she was experiencing some fluctuating emotions at home they worked closely with her one on one to try and talk about her feelings and how she can express them in different ways. They’ve also been so helpful at navigating her slightly fussy eating. Our son is in the baby room and he is so happy to go in each morning. They have endless patience and are always coming up with new activities to entertain the babies. It’s made being a working parent so much easier knowing they’re having a brilliant, enriching time at nursery.

We recently moved to Norwich and were worried about our little one starting afresh, thinking it was going to be a problem, but he’s settled in so quickly and absolutely loves going to Chestnut. Every day he comes home he always says he’s 'had a wonderful day' and that says it all for us!

I am delighted to review NRP School for their commitment and dedication to my daughter. My daughter is such a happy, bonny girl, always smiling, jumping around, singing, chatting and excited to go to school. However, there has been some few moments in which she felt school wasn't for her, for whatever reasons I do not know, until she was moved from that classroom to different classroom before she became herself again. Since then, she has been absolutely good, cheerful, enthusiastic with full energy to school. Moreover, the school has been helpful in helping her to fit in. Teachers and principal are all very caring, supportive, helpful, good people, compassionate and kind etc. I'll not hesitate to recommend Chestnut Nursery Norwich Nursery to people in all backgrounds to take their children there. Lovely, clean, spacious and hygienic place for children to start their school, because the beginning and start of everything in life matters.

My son attends Chestnut Nursery and has been for around a year. He always enjoys going in and has a lovely bond with the staff. He is well cared for and the staff are attentive and make sure he has fun and develops. I highly recommend this nursery.

So much work put into making the children feel happy and safe away from their parents. My daughter has not long started, but already gets excited to see her key person. The facilities are amazing. I'm actually a bit jealous that I don't get to enjoy them myself.

My son started at Chestnut Nursery School @ NRP a year ago following our relocation to the area. We were nervous how he’d settle in after moving from one nursery to another, but Chestnut Nursery has been wonderful. The settling-in process was managed with care and kindness and my son settled in faster than ever expected. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They build such strong, trusting and close caring bonds with the children. The food is (my son tells me) delicious and there is a varied and healthy menu. The nursery has fantastic facilities and lots of activities to keep the children entertained and educationally stimulated. My son particularly loves the amount of space outside and the different gardens. I am so glad we chose to send our son to Chestnuts and would highly recommend it to all parents.

Chestnuts are a great nursery, they regularly update the parent one system so I know what my child is up to throughout the day - this is really reassuring for a first-time parent like myself. All the staff are wonderful and my son absolutely loves going to nursery each day. Updates during every pickup are really nice too. Everyone seems to really enjoy their job which makes it easier for me to drop him off. From our first visit, the nursery asked us to give in our phones during the walk-through, which instantly assured us of their great security measures! The nursery are great at responding to emails quickly and putting me through to his key person. This is the best nursery experience I’ve had so far and look forward to seeing my son's growth with them!

Chestnut Nursery School is a place where children and staff are happy. They communicate with us well and hold parents evenings regularly as well as stay and plays. The staff have been proactive and supportive with my son's SEN and gave excellent communication throughout the assessment process and beyond, involving us with every step. Our son loves the range of outdoor spaces from the forest school to the bike garden. This has been an environment where he continues to thrive.

Staff have been brilliant from day 1, attended a couple of settle sessions the previous week and the staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities and grounds are second to none. We are so happy to have the joined the Chestnut family and can’t wait for what the future holds for our little one.

Our daughter started at Chestnut Nursery School at 15 months and is now leaving to go to school. Our son also attends the nursery. We have had a fantastic experience with the nursery. The children are happy, feel safe and are developing rapidly. The staff take great enjoyment in helping them succeed. They eat healthy food which they enjoy. They have developed wonderful friendships and have access to a super outdoor space and meditation room. They engage with parents very well - stay and play, open days and parents evenings. We are looking forward to our eldest child's graduation! Thank you.

I have nothing but praise for the nursery in all aspects. The girls in the Innes Term Time room are so lovely and my son loves going to nursery and always comes home happy having had so much fun. They accommodate needs such as naps or avoiding naps depending on plans outside of nursery. Handover is thorough at pick up. We are kept up to date with my sons progress and were supported so well with his speech development. We are pleased to be sending our second son in September to the same room.

Our son has been attending Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park for a year and a half. He started in Toddlers and then moved up to Pre-School/Term Time! He has absolutely flourished here and he thoroughly enjoys going to nursery every day that he’s in! He has come on leaps and bounds since being at Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park and a special thank you goes to the staff members in Toddlers, Pre-School and Term Time as they have been incredibly supportive and nurtured him. As well as all of the other incredible staff too! We can’t recommend Chestnut Nursery School enough! We have always felt comfortable leaving our son there, knowing he is safe and happy. So thank you for easing our minds and helping our son to flourish. You are all amazing!

My child is happy in the nursery, the staff there are so kind and they are always helpful. The staff are truly outstanding. They are not only highly qualified professionals but also caring individuals who fostered a warm and nurturing environment for the children. Each teacher displayed a genuine passion for early childhood education and went above and beyond to create a stimulating and inclusive setting. They took the time to understand individual needs and interests, ensuring my little one felt valued and encouraged in their learning journey.

We feel extremely fortunate to have found Chestnut Nursery School. It offers a supportive, engaging, and nurturing environment that has given us peace of mind as parents, and more importantly, it's a place my daughter is excited to go every day.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since July 2022. She is currently in the baby's room. She is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. Her development has excelled, and this is down to the fantastic staff at the nursery. She is really settled here, and we can't fault any of the staff. They send us regular updates and photos via the app and also send us regular activity ideas, which we can do at home to support our daughter to develop further. I would recommend this nursery.

My son joined the holiday club for the summer holidays. At first, he was a bit nervous and upset as it was a new environment but after some patience and time, the practitioners calmed him down and updated me later in the day with how he was feeling and doing. When I collected him at the end of the day he was very happy with the whole experience and couldn't wait until his next session. He made loads of friends in his time there and did loads of unique and fun activities, bringing home some lovely pieces of art he created such as a dragonfly made from sticks and leaves. Myself and my partner have been so impressed with the practice that we book him in every half term and he is very excited to go.

My daughter has been attending Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park since her first birthday. I have found the nursery to be fantastic. They have been so supportive and nurturing. The correspondence and updates from the nursery are great, I love seeing photos and videos of what my daughter has been up to on the app and the management team respond quickly to any enquiries. The outside space is amazing and spends so much time playing and learning outside in the different garden areas. I have always been impressed with the varied and healthy menu that’s offered to the children and that all food is prepared and cooked on site. My daughter has enjoyed her time at Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park so much and will miss it and the staff when she starts school.
