We have recently relocated, I was worried how my son would be settling into a new nursery environment.
Chestnut Nursery is like a home from home, everybody has been so helpful, kind and caring, our son settled in and was happy from day one.
Our son is becoming more independent and confident, we would
definitely recommend to others - I wish he didn't have to go to school in September!

We sent our baby boy when he was six months old, and he loves this nursery very much. We don't have difficulty leaving him every time. Initially, our baby had difficulty sleeping by himself, but now he sleeps by himself with the help of nursery staff. We really appreciate it. To be honest, this nursery
is excellent for us, it is close to our working place, and every staff is really committed to taking care of babies. I would strongly recommend this nursery to my friends and colleagues.

We are very impressed by the kindness and positive attitude of the staff.
They are always welcoming and smiling. Always share the information in a professional way and give the impression of honesty.
The facilities are amazing, sparkling and very warm (wood).

We like Chestnut Nursery for a few reasons:
1 - Facilities are good and new, every time we go to the nursery everything feels clean.
2 - Staffs are nice to children.
3 - Big outdoor play area which kids love.
4 - Every time we pick our kid up we see a happy kid.


We understand that the nursery

is still quite new and still growing, we look forward to seeing more children and we are sure the nursery will do better and better.

My 3-year-old daughter started attending Chestnuts NRP (Norwich Research Park) three times a week and she absolutely loves it!
Loads of hands-on activities (eg baking, crafts, painting) to encourage learning, and the facilities are great. They also have a lovely big garden which my little one loves.
The
staff are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and provide a 'home away from home' for kids.
In the beginning, I was worried that my daughter might not like it, now the problem I have is picking her up when it’s time to go home, as she doesn’t want to leave.

Initially, I was apprehensive about putting our son in a nursery. However, from the offset, the staff at Chestnut Nursery School were warm and welcoming. We knew when we came for our first visit that we wouldn't want him to go anywhere else. The nursery itself is brand new and has such lovely equipment
and facilities. It puts our house to shame. Our son enjoys his time there and the staff are very caring, attentive and reassuring. Overall it is a warm and caring environment for children.

My son started nursery this month and I am very pleased with everything that he's already learnt. He's always happy to go to nursery and he's shown to enjoy every minute there. He has changed so much, he likes something that we tried several times before unsuccessfully, he's more responsible, he's listening.
I'm very happy. The staff is amazing, very careful and sweet with all children. The facilities have everything that they need to grow happy and learn. I'll recommend without any doubt.

Wonderful nursery, with lots of stimulating play and resources. My daughter started recently and was a little nervous (as was I). Nursery staff have been wonderful and reassuring to both myself, my husband and our daughter.


The nursery uses a great parent app which allows me to see what my daughter

has been up to all day. The facilities are always clean, tidy and age appropriate.


All the staff are welcoming as soon as you come through the door.


Could not recommend enough!

An amazing new nursery that is well equipped with the latest technology which provides me with regular reports on my daughter's daily activities.
All the staff, deputy manager and manager are fantastic and have settled my anxious daughter extremely well and very quickly. They encourage her to try lots
of different and varied activities each day which she absolutely loves.
They are helping me with potty/toilet training and are amazing at working with me with regards to her individual dietary requirements.
I can honestly say, I have never seen her so happy in a nursery. Happy daughter = happy mum.

Yvonne Hamilton

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2017

I have been working in childcare since 1989. I left college and started my career as a nanny. Having children of my own made me rethink my childcare career and I decided to become a childminder. When my children began their early learning I went on to further my education and started working in Pre-schools, which is where I worked my way from being a practitioner to becoming a Leader. I now have a BA Degree in Early Years and am an Early Years Professional. I have always had a deep connection with children and feel a great sense of accomplishment in helping children achieve and enjoy their learning journey throughout their early years.


Working with children always gives me so much joy, inspiration and happiness. My vision for our nursery is to enable every child to reach their full potential and to do this I have a strong, highly qualified team with a range of experiences and qualities that create a warm and welcoming nursery environment.
