Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Academy Gardens cares for children aged from three months to five years.

Academy Gardens is an award winning setting. The Nursery has won many amazing awards over the years which include nursery of the year in 2018, 2019 and 2020 as well as Nursery team of the year in 2019, SEN Nursery of the year in 2020 and Top 20 nurseries in 2021 and 2022.

Due to their 5 days of training a year, staff are able to keep up-to-date with the current curriculum and care for and teach the children to the highest standard. The knowledgeable, long-standing and diverse staff team are extremely passionate about helping children grow and develop and help assist them to prepare for ‘big school’.

The entire staff team pride themselves on their excellent partnership they have with parents and feel very strongly about being able to help support many families within the community through their inclusive approach.

The Nursery has a beautiful and adventurous garden which allows the children to develop their imaginations as well as a creative indoor environment. The beautiful unique setting and authentic resources provides many opportunities to inspire curiosity, awe and wonder.

Before joining Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery, we looked at 4 nurseries and were not happy with many different aspects. My eldest has been attending HC Yeading since 2014 and we were so impressed with the exceptional care she received that we sent our youngest in 2018. Unfortunately, Yeading closed
in late 2018 and we moved to Academy Gardens, even though it was tough to move there, due to location, we loved HC so much and their staff, that we were willing to move. My youngest also received the same level of love and care. I can definitely say the staff genuinely care for the children. We are really sad to move but my youngest is now joining the school nursery. There is a great manager and we have grown close to all staff members in the years we have been there. A shout out to our key worker for both my girls over the last 6 years we have been there. We will miss HC but will be back to visit and hope to support them in any future activities they hold.

My daughter is in the toddler room and she loves the nursery she’s always happy when she goes into the room the staff there are amazing and treat her like their own. The management are amazing as well and always there if you have a problem and easy to talk to. And with the Covid still about, they clean
from top to bottom and have everything in place when it comes to drop off and pick up.

This nursery is first class. The staff are incredibly professional, caring, patient and kind. My son has been here for two years and my daughter is just about to start. My son has been so happy here - his development and progress in all areas have been very positive. I have every confidence that this
nursery is a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for my children. I am proud that my family is part of this nursery.

Both my sons have attended Hungry Caterpillar's Academy Gardens branch for the past three years and we've had nothing but good experiences. Staff are always caring and respectful and the nursery manager is always very responsive and helpful. The nursery has taken good precautions to ensure Covid safety
measures are being adhered to, including separate entrances for different age groups, staggered arrival and strict hygiene measures.

My son has been attending the Hungry Caterpillar Academy Gardens Nursery for over two years. I have always been satisfied with the overall standards. Carers are professional and kind. Children have very good learning activities provided on everyday basis. The nursery uses the Famly app where all the
updates are regularly published and where I can see the photos and comments of what is happening to my son during the day.

I highly recommend this nursery as the staff are very friendly. The nursery is very informative in regards to what the children are up to daily by posting on the nursery app. I am happy with my child's development over the years, thanks to the nursery.

Great staff and good key workers. Always consistant in keeping in touch and a very informative team. Sent my older daughter here also whom is now 7. And my younger daughter whom is now 3 and leaving to go pre school. Never had issues and the ones I have had have been sorted out straight away. I will
definitely inform and recommend anyone to send their child here as it ticks all the boxes of a great nursery. Nice and clean always. Great key workers whom always have a smile and happy to assist in anyway to help your child learn and develop. Very organised team. They have a great app to show your kids daily routines and pictures for you to keep for life and also you get to see what they eat.

Beautiful nursery. Fantastic staff who really care. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has really enjoyed her time here. She now has the confidence to start her new school in September.
