Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Weston-super-Mare

This nursery has so far been brilliant for our son. He was born 3 months prematurely and started at just over a year old. They have been great handling any extra concerns from us as parents and taking things slowly when needed. He has created some fantastic bonds with several members of staff. He has a truly brilliant time there and he learns so much. We have seen his development improve so much over the last few months. Could not recommend it more.

We are very happy with the nursery experience our children have received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. The staff are wonderful, kind and caring. My daughter loves it here and it really shows in her personality, she has gone from being shy and quiet to outgoing and friendly since starting.

My little girl has been attending this nursery since she was fourteen months old for four full days a week and she is now three and a half years old. She settled in very well and made new friends straight away. All the resources available are amazing and there is plenty of toys to choose from. After the transition to the ‘older room’ everyone made sure she was comfortable and settled in. She became very independent with the help of the staff. The activities she has every day are amazing, with something different to do every day. The food that is being provided is cooked on site and meals are always finished! During the pandemic everyone provided an excellent service and great support to both children and parents. I would highly recommend the nursery for all parents.

A brilliant happy and attentive nursery. I have had a previous nursery which didn’t meet the standards and both my girls are so happy and well looked after by your team. Sad to hear the change of management as of may but I’m sure they girls will continue their high standards.

The menu that they offer is also excellent. Thank you all for your care.

We viewed three nurseries when choosing one for our son who had just turned two at the time and this one gave us all the feels. The staff have been incredible with helping our boy settle in, as he was very quiet and subdued at the beginning. He's completely out of his shell now and made so many friends who he talks about constantly. Being a July baby, we were slightly worried that he might not be ready for school in September but due to the wonderful environment of the nursery, where he's been able to learn plenty, socialise well and prepare for school life, we now feel that he'll be more than ready. Can't thank the team enough for all they've done, especially through these trialing times.

This nursery has done a fabulous job with my overly clingy daughter, within the first three settling in sessions she was settled and waving me off smiling. She has come on leaps and bounds in such a short amount of time, I couldn't recommend this nursery any more. All staff are so lovely. All round, a fabulous nursery.

We chose Happy Days initially due to the convenient location and opening hours for my commute to work. Our daughter started a few months after they opened when she was around 10 months old and she’ll soon be three. She has a whale of a time there, absolutely loving the environment and those that care for her. The team are incredibly supportive, not only of the children but of the parents too - I’ve received many a word of encouragement when they’ve sensed I’ve needed it! Certainly, this last year has thrown a whole host of challenges at all of us and the team at Happy Days have clearly continued to have the children’s best interests at heart and we are delighted that our daughter is able to feel so safe and secure in this fun and educational environment. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

My daughter had been going since the day they opened. She absolutely loves it and is so excited every morning! Everyone is so friendly and would do anything for us. I'm so sad she's starting school soon, will miss everyone!

Happy Days Weston is the most fantastic nursery. My daughter loves attending and adores the team. From day one I have been impressed by all areas- activities, learning, play, meals and progress reports. The nursery has that family feel and all the staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The smile on my little girl's face when she walks in says it all. She is learning so much from the setting and I honestly cannot praise and thank the team enough.

As soon as we had a tour of Happy Days we knew that this was the Nursery that we wanted to send our daughter to. From the moment we walked in back in March last year we could see the warmth and caring personalities of the staff, the fantastic learning environments and the excellent knowledge of the early years. Since starting nursery in September the staff have gone above and beyond to help our daughter settle in and she absolutely loves going to nursery. It is lovely to see how all the staff know your children and can comment on something they have accomplished, a new word, eaten something different or even what mischief she had been up to! The staff are such a caring team and have been so supportive of our family and how welcoming they are when we were able to return. They have exceeded all expectations with how they have dealt with the challenging situations they have faced during the pandemic and I feel our child could not be in safer hands whilst we are working. Thank you all!

The staff here have been warm and welcoming to both our children, one of which is now at school. It will be good to get back to having a chat at the end of the day when lockdown ends! The team have been good dealing with initial reluctance in the morning, as well as conflict when it happened. I feel the team has coped well with the lockdown, and are making the day as normal as possible for the kids.

What a fabulous nursery! We viewed the nursery when my daughter was just a few months old when it first opened and knew straight away that this was the best place for her. The setting and staff are absolutely amazing and they’re constantly looking at ways to make things even better. My daughter loves coming here and her daily feedback is always so positive. I never hesitate to recommend Happy Days and I’ll be sad when she has to leave to start school.

I was really nervous sending my son to the nursery at 11 months old, but as I was returning to full-time work it was needed. Of all the nurseries I looked at Happy Days felt the most right. We had just come out of the first lockdown when he was due to start, so he hadn't really been held or looked after by anyone else. On our initial visit to get him familiar with the environment, he was held by one of the team and walked around the nursery - this was the first time I hadn't seen him cry whilst being held by someone other than me! We had a rough start settling him in as he didn't like to leave me, but Happy Days were brilliant and offered as many settling in sessions as he would need. They were so kind and understanding with the whole process, allowing me to call in the initial days just to check he was ok and reassuring me. He is now settled in perfectly, and absolutely loves his nursery days! Would definitely recommend the team at Weston, they're fab.

Starting nursery during lockdown wasn’t the easiest but we love Happy Days and they have given me the confidence to go back to work full time, knowing that my son is not only being looked after, but nurtured.

I cannot recommend the team at Happy Days more, it’s not your regular ‘run of the mill’ nursery! If you’re looking for a team of practitioners who are compassionate, knowledgeable, dedicated and enthusiastic then this is the place for you. My son has been at Happy Days for two years and is thriving. Each day he comes out happy and animated about his day. The activities are tailored to the children’s interests and my little one can’t wait to go in and see what the day holds! Also, I have found that the leadership team's knowledge and experience with SEN is excellent and this really is put into practice, with the nursery being a completely nurturing and inclusive setting.

We are very happy with the care and support our son receives at Happy Days. The nursery is full of warm, caring and skilled workers who show real commitment to the children’s development, happiness and individuals needs and strengths. Their excellent level of care makes us as parents very comfortable leaving our son with them. An all-round lovely nursery to be part of.

Happy Days Weston has been absolutely fantastic for both my little girl and myself as a parent. We’re always kept well informed of things the children have been doing and I often get calls in the day to update me if my daughters had a bump. I feel so comfortable and at ease leaving my little girl with happy days. We’ve both been made to feel extremely welcome. I couldn’t recommend happy days enough. The team are fantastic. X
