Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge, Regent Terrace

This has been a wonderful place for my boy. The best part are the staff - my boy loves them, and I have always appreciated the way they look after him and the way they interact with my wife and I. It's been a great place for us, and we have been joined by friends from the prenatal classes. I also love the photos of the activities they share on the app and how they have broadened by child's diet.

Child is happy to attend nursery every day!

My daughter is really happy at nursery - she is happy to go in, learns so much and gets on well with the staff. I've found the staff to be really helpful and friendly, and I feel confident leaving my child in their care.

My kid loves Monkey Puzzle Regent Street. She is first to leave the house every morning. That's probably the best review one can give a nursery. From myself, I trust the staff completely, I feel I can ask them anything and call up when I worry about something. They are always extremely patient. And my kid clearly loves them as well, all smiles when she sees the person who welcomes her every morning. I couldn't recommend this nursery more

Our little one is clearly enjoying themselves there, and we can tell the staff care genuinely for the children. Communication with the parents is excellent, and we find them quite flexible too. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Our daugher has been at this nursery for a year and a half and is leaving at the end of this month. She has had an absolutely fantastic time there - she's made lots of friends, and she's learnt a lot too. The staff have always been brilliant with care and communication and we've been very satisfied indeed with our experience. Very happy to recommend.

Each morning she is excited about another day at nursery and we can see great progress in her development. Communication is excellent and we always feel informed about their activities. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience at Monkey Puzzle Nursery, Regent Terrace. Our child smoothly transitioned into reception, well-equipped with a strong foundation in letters and numbers, thanks to the excellent education provided there. The communication with staff and management was always clear and supportive, making us feel secure and well-informed. The carers left a lasting positive impression on our child, who still speaks highly of the nurturing environment. The professionalism, approachability, and family-oriented 'Stay and Play' activities were greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking a supportive and enriching environment for their child.

Great nursery! Wonderful staff who really took an interest in the children's well-being. Our son loved going, and it set him up for school really well. Special shout out to one of the staff who was outstanding.

Our kids liked this nursery a lot. They enjoyed the variety or educational and entertaining activities, friendly teachers, good cooked food (breakfast, lunch, tea). We always received up-to-date information about day to day activities of our kids (sometimes with short stories about them and photos), the food they have eaten, amount of time they slept etc, which inspires additional confidence. All the teachers were very kind and attentive to our kids, and the kids liked them a lot!

My 8-month-old baby had two weeks of settling-in sessions - the staff were incredibly reassuring and immediately put him and us as parents at ease. He quickly bonded with the lovely staff members who were able to help emulate his nap and feeding routine from home.

My child's adaptation (and mine) to the nursery was very slow but the staff were very patient and caring. I was so anxious and afraid of leaving my child with other people but nowadays I have absolute trust in all the staff who are caring for my son. They are lovely people taking the extra mile for my son and for me. I cannot thank them enough.

Our daughter really enjoys attending Monkey Puzzle. The staff are always welcoming, caring and very hard working. We are impressed by the variety of activities our daughter is exposed to and immersed in.

This nursery used to be very good. However, few staff have left recently and since then the quality of their work has been very poor. I really feel my daughter is not going to be safe with them and I decided to go to another nursery. I don't recommend it.

The only downside of the nursery is the limited outside space although they do the best with what they have. It would be great if the nursery took advantage of their location and used a park a bit more to let the children run around.

The staff in the baby room have been wonderful during the settling in period. It has not been easy with separation anxiety and sickness. They have been very accommodating with food restrictions. They frequently consider what my son needs and how to best support his transition into nursery. It feels like a joint effort to ensure he is happy. It is early days but they have delivered what they promised so far with regards to updates and photos. The staff are warm, caring and responsive. Everything is very well organised. The baby room can appear sparse but I can see that avoids overwhelming the children and that plenty of different resources are brought out when appropriate. I think it could perhaps have a few cosier areas/artwork like they have in their tweenies room (maybe I was just won over by the teepee and fairy lights in there!). We are yet to get a decent routine with sleep as it is such early days and we have had multiple sick days so I cannot comment on that aspect.

Could not be happier with this nursery. We had to take the tough decision to move our 20-month-old son from another nursery because he was not happy there and after 9 months had failed to settle. We were incredibly nervous that the same thing would happen here, but we couldn't have been more wrong. He has now been here for a little over one month and is absolutely thriving, it has made a huge difference to his development, confidence and overall happiness. The team are incredible - so caring and experienced and have taken so much time to ensure that his needs are met in every way. The range of activities that he takes part in each day quite frankly blows my mind - I have no idea how they have the time to plan and set up such interesting, enriching tasks, but he comes home every night chattering nonstop about all the things he has done. I have absolute confidence in this Nursery and would recommend it to everyone.
