Kids Planet Wyke

My child has had a great experience here at Kids Planet. She's been here since she was 1 and is now 4 and due to leave to go to school. The staff seem to care about the children there and make an effort in what they do.

My child has been going for over a year and he settled in so quickly. He wasn’t talking much before he went, even when he was at his old nursery, and defiantly wasn’t potty trained. Soon as he came here he was out of nappies and speaking sentences. I couldn’t thank Kids Planet enough! My child absolutely adores the staff especially a member of staff in particular in the big room. Thank you all, I would 100% recommend.

My little boy has been going to this nursery since he was 1, the staff have been amazing with my little boy since day 1 and it has showed in his development! Always communicate with us and I know my boy is well looked after when he is there.

My little boy recently left nursery to start in reception, he has attended this same nursery since the age of 1. He has thrived in his years at this nursery and has developed year on year. Within the last few months of attending nursery, he came home singing phonics songs that he had been taught at nursery helping him with the transition into big school, this helped us as full time working parents greatly! Always kept in the loop with him throughout the day, including meals and activities etc. On the rare occasion, there has been any sort of problem the manager and the rest of the girls have done all they can to help sort the problem. Would highly recommend

We watched both our children thrive here. The staff were always helpful and informative and when my son moved in to school we missed it greatly

Really friendly helpful staff. Well run and easy to follow on what my child is doing. As my child is of an older age group I get updates on collection of meals and on the app for any learning/development where necessary. My child loves going to nursery and I feel secure knowing that my child enjoys it as well as knowing I am given any necessary updates by management or team especially through the current situation that everyone is living now.

Very good communication throughout the nursery, all staff very well mannered and happy to help, and the manager more than helpful and happy to assist at any point, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Kinder Haven @ Town Gate Wyke. She was a very quiet child now come out of her shell and she can't wait to go the next day, well-done girls keep it up thank you,x

The manager is rude and on a few occasions made me feel uncomfortable. Doesn’t handle situations professionally and I wouldn’t recommend this nursery. Very difficult to deal with and expensive.

This is a fantastic nursery. The staff are warm, kind and caring, and my son is making amazing progress. He asks every day if he can go to nursery and has a smile a mile wide when I drop him off. He does a wide range of activities and eats some amazing sounding food. Even in these tough times, the staff smile and the COVID precautions are very thorough. Communication from the nursery manager is always helpful and concise. We love this nursery and can't recommend it highly enough.

My little girl was due to start in April 2020 but due to the pandemic, this was delayed. She started just after her first birthday and during a difficult time for everyone. The nursery made me feel so secure with her safety and were very strict with all covid guidelines. It is such a worrying time leaving your child with someone else and even worse when you can't be there to check on them but I was encouraged to ring and was kept updated via the app regularly. The practitioners are all lovely and give lots of updates at the door upon pick up every day. All the meals are so healthy and well balanced, my little one has an aversion to apples and this is dealt with so well as the whole room isn't given apples the day she is in so she doesn't feel left out. They are also very helpful with applying her eczema cream regularly. Nothing is any trouble and this makes me feel secure that my daughter is in trustworthy hands!

My son has been attending this nursery for three years now and is very happy here. He missed attending during the pandemic and looked forward to returning. He has a great relationship with the practitioners and includes them in the stories he tells me when he is articulating the fun things he has done that day. He is confident and and excited when attending. At home he plays the games and sings the songs he has learnt at nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for just over a year and I've not yet had one issue. Her development and character has come on amazingly. She loves coming home and telling us all about her day and what fun things she has been up to. A great nursery would definitely recommend.

Kinder Haven provide a stimulating environment for learning. They nurture individuality and really get to know the child and their family. They offer healthy food and have a lovely outdoor space. The app is updated regularly throughout the day and is a great way of seeing how their day is going. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

My little boy has been attending this nursery since he was 9 months old. There has not been a day where he has cried or not wanted to come. Every day I pick him up he is smiling from ear to ear, he always brings his artwork home and on Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day he made me something special, which I thought was a nice touch by the team. He gets healthy meals and plenty of attention, I know he is in good hands and safe while he is here due to the precautions the team have put in place both in terms of COVID and overall safety measures. I even saw on the parent app recently the team teaching the older children the recovery position! There is always something interesting being posted on the app so we can see what they are up to. If I mention any challenges or behaviours we are trying to overcome the team are more than willing to help, for example, teeth brushing and the importance of this! my child has flourished here and I have nothing but good things to say! Thanks, team!

My 3 year old daughter has been attending Kinder Haven Wyke since July 2020. We had recently moved into the area and couldn't travel such a distance to take her to her previous childminder. Initially, we were worried on how she would fit in, but she fit in straight away. The staff are lovely and keep us up to date on how she has been through the day, how much she has eaten and the parent app is great to see the activities for the day. My child has significantly grown in confidence and ability since we sent her to Kinder Haven and we are very happy with the service they provide. She attends 3 days a week and loves it so much that on the days she doesn't attend - she asks if she can go to nursery. We would highly recommend Kinder Haven Wyke.

My little boy started at Kinder Haven when he was 8 months old. He has a great bond with the staff in his room and loves going every week. His development has been amazing and he’s learnt so many new things since attending. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

Choosing a nursery was such a big deal to me, as it will to many parents and I definitely made the right choice with this one. The manager and the girls have been amazing with my little one and she has come on so much during her year there! My daughter loves coming here and it is amazing to see her developing new skills each week, not only that but she eats way better there than she will for me at home. It is definitely the best decision we made and I couldn't recommend them enough, thank you guys.

My son loves nursery and he comes home with a different word everyday. He couldn’t really talk before he went to nursery but now he’s talking. They are really good with him and he’s only been there since January so I highly recommend.

My daughter started here in September. She has established some fantastic relationships and we have seen a positive impact on her learning. She has become more confident in her language skills and personality. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. My daughter loves being at the nursery and enjoys the structure and learning they provide. The management team are always happy to help and respond and support any queries I have had immediately. I really recommend this nursery.
