Bright Little Stars is an Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery situated close to Stanmore Village and opened in October 2017.

There are three bright learning rooms, designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school, featuring dual air conditioning/heating, modern interactive LCD computer screens & high-quality resources to ensure children have the best care & learning facilities.

Large, outdoor play areas have been carefully designed with all areas of learning considered. A tranquil sensory garden & custom-made playground activity centre for climbing, creative and imaginative play which balances freedom with safety. In addition, sheltered areas give each room direct access to the outdoors.

The unique Bright Little Stars Learning Programme nurtures a love of learning bringing play & teaching together into the curriculum featuring prime areas, phonics & literacy, mathematics, science & botany, culture & geography, ICT, expressive arts, home learning and a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs.

They strongly believe in working in partnership with parents & have a special online 'Parent Area' for existing parents. Their Head of Teaching and School Relationships supports parents when it is time to think about children to school by building relationships with schools and holding Parent Workshops.

NurseryCam offers parents additional peace of mind and allows them to be more involved in their children’s learning. An on-site chef freshly prepares healthy and nutritious meals and snacks that have been developed in consultation with a qualified nutritionist.

My daughter loves this nursery. She is very well looked after and staff go out of their way to meet every child's needs. She is 2 years old and has learnt so much here and has developed independently over the last year. She feels at home and often doesn't want to come home! All the staff are very caring
and affectionate.

My Son has attending Bright Little Stars Stanmore for the past 2 years, he started just before his first birthday. I was hugely anxious when he started but the staff put me right at ease despite covid restrictions. I have always felt my son was in a safe place, he is always looking forward to his day
and leaves smiling and hugging his teachers. They have an amazing in house chef who provides fresh and nutritious meals. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.

My daughter has been attending Bright Little Stars since 11 months old (she's 20 months old now) and we have seen such a positive difference in her development! It's one of the best decisions we made. She has become so independent and is learning new things every day, thanks to the teacher's help. The
key workers really do look after the kids as their own, which gives me such peace of mind leaving her in Bright Little Stars care for three full days a week.

Bright Little Stars, Stanmore are absolutely amazing. Every single staff member I encountered, from receptionists, the cook (yes, they do have an in-house cook who prepares delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, my little one loves!)and management through to the fantastic teachers, make a lot of
effort to support the children and parents. They looked after my little one so well from day one and helped her settle and thrive. My child is learning so much under their expert care. The parent-carer communication is flawless, with daily reports and weekly learning observations. They were recently inspected and rated outstanding by Ofsted, so it's not only parents and kids who think they are, well - outstanding!

My daughter has been with Bright Little Stars Stanmore for a year now and she loves it. All her teachers have been really supportive from getting her settled initially to her transitioning to a new room. They’re always happy to accommodate her needs. They provide a great variety of healthy balanced

Bright Little Stars Nursery Stanmore has been amazing since day one. Our twins started nursery aged 1 and have been extremely well looked after. Bright Little Stars Stanmore Nursery has far exceeded any expectations I had from a nursery. The nursery staff are extremely caring and are always attentive to helping my son enjoy his time there and further develop. This is supported by the Management Team who are readily available and always looking
to ensure my son's needs are met. They have come up with creative and thoughtful ways to help my son; this has had a massively positive impact on him and our home life.
All the staff who work for the nursery follow the nursery's ethos and the professional and caring nature shines through every single day. I look forward to my sons further development at this nursery and will definitely be sending my next child there as well.

My son has been attending the Stanmore branch of Bright Little Stars for 2 years now and has been thriving at the nursery. He is a happy and joyous boy who perks up at the mention of the nursery. The staff are caring and compassionate and build amazing rapport with the children they look after.

Little Stars have a range of extracurricular activities from Spanish to sports and forest school all of which my son loves.
It is a nursery which cares for the overall wellbeing of a child to the extent that they have arranged amazing courses for parents to attend such as paediatric first aid and dental hygiene in children.

My daughter has been attending Bright Little Stars Stanmore since July 2020. The Milky Way team have been very welcoming and my child has settled into the nursery exceptionally well.
My daughter goes in happy every day and has built lovely relationships with the lovely staff in the room. The love,
care and attention in Milky Way is faultless and I feel at ease knowing my child is confident and happy at nursery.
The Nursery is always clean and well presented, the staff team are always asking about her weekend and how she is been so they can make sure they include her interests at nursery. Overall I am very happy with the level of care and attention that my daughter receives at the nursery.

My son started this nursery at the start of 2018. Being a new nursery I went by a gut feel rather than any reviews. And I' glad to say I did! The nursery has amazing key workers, clean and big size rooms and varied activities and toys my son can enjoy.
The key workers are more than glad to give me
feedback at the end of each day and I can see the affection my son has for them. After the first few sessions, he has barely cried going in and is thoroughly enjoying it. Some activities like yoga, French classes, sensory play, etc. were unheard of by me! They also provide CCTV access which puts my mind to great rest when I can peek and have a quick view a few times a day. Great job girls!

Our son started attending Bright Little Stars Stanmore at the beginning of this year. The settling in period was difficult for both us and him but I cannot thank the nursery and staff enough for the support they gave in helping him feel comfortable and putting our mind at ease. From taking my daily
calls to check in and for spending time at pick up to discuss his day in detail. He has settled in so well that somedays it’s hard to get him out the room. We have seen such a huge development in him he is happy and playful around other children and learning so many new things weekly. We have had a few ups and downs with him being unwell and currently struggling with him being an extremely fussy eater but both his key worker, room staff and management are supportive and willing to assist any way they can. We are so glad we have chosen this daycare and definitely believe it is one of the best.

I am so glad that I got my little one enrolled into Bright Little Stars Stanmore. I can clearly see the difference from his previous nursery. He is much happier and enjoys going to the nursery. Ruby

Ruby Tilley

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

Ruby Tilley is the Nursery Manager at our Stanmore Nursery. Ruby has over 9 years of experience working in the Early Years sector and holds a Cache Level 3 in Childcare and Development. Ruby has had exceptional career growth at Bright Little Stars, starting her journey with us in 2013 as a Nursery Educator at Mill Hill. She was promoted to Room Leader and then progressed her career, in 2016, to Second Deputy Manager in our Watford branch.


In 2017, Ruby was the opening Supernumerary Deputy Manager at Bright Little Stars Stanmore and in 2021 was Acting Nursery Manager at Bright Little Stars Barnet. Ruby played an integral role in Bright Little Stars Stanmore’s first Ofsted inspection, where they achieved Outstanding.


Ruby specialises in working to support children with special educational needs. She has a Diploma in Speech and Language and is the Group SEND Lead for Bright Little Stars.


Ruby takes pride in ensuring children leave her care having the greatest opportunities to shape their very own personalities. Teaching independence, the ability to make choices, life skills, and fun comes naturally to Ruby. Ruby also strives to ensure children’s well-being is given the utmost importance in everyday practice.
