Bright Little Stars is an Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery situated close to Stanmore Village and opened in October 2017.

There are three bright learning rooms, designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school, featuring dual air conditioning/heating, modern interactive LCD computer screens & high-quality resources to ensure children have the best care & learning facilities.

Large, outdoor play areas have been carefully designed with all areas of learning considered. A tranquil sensory garden & custom-made playground activity centre for climbing, creative and imaginative play which balances freedom with safety. In addition, sheltered areas give each room direct access to the outdoors.

The unique Bright Little Stars Learning Programme nurtures a love of learning bringing play & teaching together into the curriculum featuring prime areas, phonics & literacy, mathematics, science & botany, culture & geography, ICT, expressive arts, home learning and a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs.

They strongly believe in working in partnership with parents & have a special online 'Parent Area' for existing parents. Their Head of Teaching and School Relationships supports parents when it is time to think about children to school by building relationships with schools and holding Parent Workshops.

NurseryCam offers parents additional peace of mind and allows them to be more involved in their children’s learning. An on-site chef freshly prepares healthy and nutritious meals and snacks that have been developed in consultation with a qualified nutritionist.

Our son has been at the nursery for nearly 2 years now. He is very happy here and has formed lovely bonds with some members of staff. All members of staff are so caring and go out of their way to provide a very high standard of care. We are glad we chose Bright Little stars for our son.

Our experience with Bright Little Stars Nursery in Stanmore has been absolutely wonderful. Our 3-year-old has thrived in every room-from Milky Way to Orion, and now Supernova. Each transition has been smooth, and the care provided has been consistently excellent.
The staff are brilliant-engaged, attentive,
and genuinely invested in the children's development. Communication with parents is strong, and we always feel informed and supported. The keyworkers in particular deserve special thanks for their dedication, warmth, and personalised attention.
We're truly happy with the level of care, support, and nurturing environment the nursery provides. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for your amazing work-you make a real difference every day!

My son loves going to nursery and when I come to pick him up he is excited to share everything he did, sometimes he is having so much fun he is not ready to go home. Everyone is very friendly and really care about providing great experiences, like forest school and trips to the library or local shop.
They take the time to really get to know the children by listening to them and giving them the chance to share their life experiences with the class, which is so important and means alot. My son has so much confidence in himself due to the approach they take in teaching.

My daughter joined BLS nursery last June and she had a seamless settle in. She has a lovely rapport with her key worker and all other carers and enjoys going to the nursery. We receive frequent observations and development updates which is extremely helpful to know how our child is developing. She is
soon going to move to Orion room and the transitioning has been quite structured with the nursery providing us a face to face meeting with the new key worker and a tour of the new room. The entire BLS team has always been very welcoming and is definitely worth a 5 star rating.

My daughter has been attending Stanmore BLS since last Sept and she loves the carers, other kids and the Milkyway room itself. She tells is what she played with on a nursery day, how she put her coat on/off etc.


She has a lovely rapport with her key worker and all other carers too. She gets excited

at the mention of Nursery!


She is soon moving up to Orion and the team have arranged frequent visits to the room in advance so she settles easier - she seems to love the new room and I can see from the room visit that she will have a play-adventure everyday.


Also happy with the webinars and learning resources BLS offer - I just attended the potty webinar this week and on the back of that we will soon be ready to implement the tools and advice to our daughter.

We are very happy that we chose Bright Little Stars as our nursery for our daughter. It took a few weeks for our daughter to settle in but now she goes in very happy and waves us goodbye when we leave. Bright Little Stars offers a range of extra-curricular activities which our daughter loves. The staff
are lovely and caring and the food is very healthy and nutritious. Communication and feedback are also great. I highly recommend Bright Little Stars.

We were recommended to Bright Little Stars by a few people and couldn't be happier with our choice of sending our twins there. We feel that they truly care and take the time to listen and try to understand your child and their individual needs. The staff are very engaging and friendly. If you are facing

Bright Little Stars Stanmore was our first choice whilst pregnant after being recommended by so many and was the best choice. We were supported right from the beginning as first-time parents, making everything so easy. Our son is quite a shy and clingy boy but the staff at Bright Little Stars are so
good with him, he literally started flying out of our arms within a month, happy to be at nursery which is reassuring for us as parents. Everyone at Bright Little Stars is so friendly and supportive, they don’t miss anything. They support not just your child but your entire family, they genuinely care. Bright Little Stars Stanmore is a perfect choice for the nursery for our daughter. She's absolutely loving it there. Bright Little Stars Nursery is just amazing for my child. They create this wonderful environment where kids can learn and have a blast at the same time. The staff are so caring and dedicated – it's like they bring out the curiosity and imagination in each child.


The whole setup is fantastic – it's

colorful, lively, and safe. They've got this perfect mix of play and learning that keeps my child excited every day. Our son started nursery at Bright Little Stars Stanmore when he was 18 months old, and I can honestly say he is thriving. He naturally had to go through a settling-in period, which involved some tears and hanging around by the door, but the staff were all so reassuring and patient, and it made us feel
so much more at ease that it was expected and would pass. When he is there, I know that he is in safe and caring hands, and whenever I need to check something or get through to someone, this is always possible. The food is healthy and wholesome, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the extra webinars and add-ons are really welcomed too. I highly recommend Bright Little Stars without reservation.

My son started attending the Bright Little Stars Stanmore branch at the beginning of July this year and I couldn't be happier with our choice. It took him a little while to settle in but even through the settling process I felt reassured by the caring staff, that have gone above and beyond, making the
whole process smooth. I knew that he was well looked after. Now he runs in every morning, happy and sometimes at the end of his session, he doesnt want to leave. I highly recommend this nursery!

Ruby Tilley

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

Ruby Tilley is the Nursery Manager at our Stanmore Nursery. Ruby has over 9 years of experience working in the Early Years sector and holds a Cache Level 3 in Childcare and Development. Ruby has had exceptional career growth at Bright Little Stars, starting her journey with us in 2013 as a Nursery Educator at Mill Hill. She was promoted to Room Leader and then progressed her career, in 2016, to Second Deputy Manager in our Watford branch.


In 2017, Ruby was the opening Supernumerary Deputy Manager at Bright Little Stars Stanmore and in 2021 was Acting Nursery Manager at Bright Little Stars Barnet. Ruby played an integral role in Bright Little Stars Stanmore’s first Ofsted inspection, where they achieved Outstanding.


Ruby specialises in working to support children with special educational needs. She has a Diploma in Speech and Language and is the Group SEND Lead for Bright Little Stars.


Ruby takes pride in ensuring children leave her care having the greatest opportunities to shape their very own personalities. Teaching independence, the ability to make choices, life skills, and fun comes naturally to Ruby. Ruby also strives to ensure children’s well-being is given the utmost importance in everyday practice.
