Kids Planet Billinge is a conversion and is opened September 2017. The nursery is located in Billinge, with close proximity to local parks, libraries and close to Wigan town centre.

Nursery meals are freshly prepared by a qualified chef on the premises and caters for children’s individual needs while focusing on the nutritional requirements of all children at their appropriate ages. The nursery invite input from parents into its menus.

Safeguarding the children in the nursery is an utmost priority and state of the art security systems are in place. Access to the nursery is through a secure door system and each room has CCTV both indoors and outdoors. Intercom systems are as standard, ensuring your child’s safety is paramount at all times.

I can't praise my son's nursery enough. My son started when he was 10 months old when the nursery 1st opened and now he is in preschool. It's such a relief to know that he is in safe hands and he comes home with a smile on his face and a story of how his day has been, each and every member of staff
is amazing and they go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. I, along with my boy, will be truly heartbroken when he has to leave and go to big school next year but I know that with your help and nurturing he will have had the best start possible.

My son will start the nursery in the next few days, my experience so far of the nursery has been outstanding. From the early communication that put me at ease and helped me to easily decide that the nursery would be for my son, to the first taster days that my son thoroughly enjoyed. Each member of
staff I met was friendly and welcoming. The staff in the baby nursery have been brilliant, they have welcomed me and my son, made us feel at ease, been so kind and warm-hearted towards my son and helped him settle easily with the other children. The experience of the nursery has made the process of my firstborn starting nursery such a joy, I feel so happy that he will enjoy his time at the nursery and I will relax knowing he is in a happy environment.

My little boy has attended Kids Planet Billinge since he was 7 months old, he has just turned two years old and the staff are key to our support network, I really couldn’t praise them enough. The standard of practice has been exceptional throughout and every single member of staff has genuine care and
love for all the children from the baby room, where they cuddled and sang twinkle twinkle to my baby when he was unwell, to the tots where they sing songs, dance and read to him. I feel 100% confident when leaving him in the mornings and when I pick him up he runs out smiling and I get to hear all about his day. You can tell that staff members get along well and are friends as well as colleagues, they’re kind and respectful towards each other and complimentary of the management team. I honestly couldn’t praise this team enough, they’ve nurtured and helped me raise a beautiful, curious, confident little boy which I will always be grateful for, every person working there are wonderful roles!

Kids Planet Billinge has been providing high-quality childcare to my two children for the last 3 years. I researched this nursery carefully as I have very high standards for my children's care and Kids Planet has not disappointed. Miles more professional than other nurseries that we visited and my children

I have found Kids Planet, Billinge to be an outstanding nursery on all areas. Being a teacher, I was anxious at finding an appropriate nursery for my 9-month-old. He’s now 3 and has experienced every room and I couldn't be happier. The building itself is clean, spacious and provides a quality learning
environment. A variety of activities are planned each day to enable the children to have fun and learn. There is regularly and easy contact with staff, face to face and through an app, with regular updates of their progress with photos. The staff as a whole are hard-working, friendly and organised. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery and would reserve a place for my future children. My child has flourished and been so happy attending here.

Since being at this nursery I can honestly say the staff are so kind and friendly and put you at ease (which is good if it’s your first baby like me).
Since my daughter has started Kids Planet Billinge she has thrived and come on leaps and bounds in all aspects of life.
My daughter is so excited
to go into nursery every day she turns up which shows how good the staff are with each individual baby/child.
I personally love how secure and organised the nursery is. Knowing my child will always be safe is just another worry less while I’m working.
The online daily diary makes my day, reading what my baby has been up to while not in my care. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

My son has attended Kids Planet Day Nursery - Billinge since the day the doors opened as is soon to leave for reception. From day one of starting he has excelled in his abilities be it speech, learning and development, physical skills, understanding, ability to work with a group or alone and making
friends. He is soon due to leave pre-school to go to primary school and I couldn't have thanked the staff at Kids Planet for preparing him for the next big step in his life. We will miss you all when he goes in a couple of weeks, the staff have all been amazing, thank you!

My son has just finished 2 years in pre-school and my daughter has been in the tots class and toddlers class. Both have loved everything about their classes, from the support and care given from all staff, the range of activities undertaken and pre COVID-19, the class excursions and the quality of meals
that they are provided with (they never eat at home and eat seconds at nursery). The management team are really helpful and reply promptly to all queries. My kids are really happy at this nursery and I’d highly recommend the Kids Planet Billinge nursery to anyone looking for a nursery for their children.

Amazing nursery. My daughter has just finished at Kids Planet Billinge as she starts school in September and I would highly recommend kids planet. All of the staff are so friendly and really caring towards the children, seeing how well they cared for my daughter and how at ease and how happy she was
with them relieved any worries I had when she first started nursery and trusting others to care for her. My daughter loved her time at nursery, there was always lots to keep her entertained and engaged, lots of outdoor play was fantastic. She always came home with a smile on her face. I never had to worry about her food at nursery either, healthy homemade meals and healthy snacks that were tasty as she always finished her meals. Even returning to nursery after covid19 I could not of felt more at ease with the procedures they had in place but without causing any distress or anxiety for my daughter.

Kids Planet Billinge is brilliant. When my son joined the nursery they went out of their way to settle him in gently, providing play and equipment tailored to him - they recognised how difficult it can be for a 1-year-old to be left behind for the first time and rose to the challenge making my return
to work much more bearable.
My son is now in pre-school and has loved all of his time at nursery. There are themed activities every week which are inventive and great fun for the kids, the staff have a great relationships with the children, the meals are healthy and well varied, parent feedback is listened to and acted on.
They're forward-thinking, for example, I don't get lots of artwork sent home that's blatantly been done by a staff member because they encourage 'the process not the product', the rooms are well zoned so children have quiet spaces and lots of choice on the type of play they want to engage with and they nurture independence brilliantly.

Kids Planet Billinge is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was 11-months-old and I would highly recommend this nursery to family and friends. The staff are so lovely and engaging with all the children. The days are so fun-packed and I love to see the daily updates and observations
the nursery provides. It’s a great way to see what your child is doing. I know when my daughter is at nursery she is well looked after and has formed some of the greatest friendships since being there.

The staff are all very friendly and great with all the children. They take time to give a comprehensive hand over to parents at the end of the day and are continually updating the parents app. The site is secure and clean with a spacious layout. After viewing three nursery’s prior to my return to work I felt extremely anxious at the prospect of putting my daughter into any of the settings. I called Kids Planet to arrange a viewing as my last hope and I am so glad I did! The nursery is modern, staff are amazing and form real bonds with the children,
the menu is exceptional and the setting is so clean with a lot of activities to keep the children entertained in a vibrant learning environment. My child started in babies and will be moving up to preschool in September. I will miss them all so much when she leaves.

I cannot rate this nursery enough, my son was treated so well. The activity, care and learning are exceptional - I have always been happy to use them as care providers.
My son has just left to go to school and honestly I was as upset as him.
The staff are amazing and really get to know the children,
you can tell it's a genuine connection not just a show for parents. They go out of their way to make sure your child is happy and settled, and they are open and honest about everything with you. They are open to suggestions and fully engage with you as a family for all your care and learning needs.
Honestly, I can't recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter has been at Kids Planet Billinge since she was 12-months-old and is now about to enter the pre-school. It’s a fantastic nursery, the staff are so caring and truly invested in providing not only high-class care but also engagement, fun and education on a daily basis. I was comfortable right
from the start leaving my child in their care, especially with the app that allowed me to keep track on what she was up to, what she was eating and sleeping etc.
My daughter loves going and is so animated when I collect her, telling me about her friends and what she’s been up to, especially all the outdoor activities.
It's worth mentioning as well how amazing they handled Covid-19, when the nursery closed they kept in constant contact, supplying so many activities to do at home, packs of ideas for activities and structure for the day which was worth its weight in gold at a difficult time. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Kids Planet enough. I was very anxious about finding the perfect nursery for my little girl but from the very start, every single member of staff at nursery has been so helpful and so good with my little girl. She loves going to nursery, she has a big smile on her face every morning
when we pull up outside. My daughter's key person has been amazing and keeps us up to date every day with her progress as do all the other members of staff in her baby room. She has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and I couldn’t think of anywhere better for her to be whilst I am working. We get sent a list of activities every month that the children will be taking part in and they’re always interesting and engaging. There are even options for parents to go along and take part! My little girl was quite quiet but has come out of her shell so much since starting nursery and I can’t thank the wonderful staff enough.

I couldn't recommend Kids Planet Day Nursery any higher! The girls there do a wonderful job! My daughter is so happy and settled in there! She has additional needs which they cater to perfectly. On occasion, she chokes, due to her health. She once choked in nursery and the girls were quick to respond.


The nursery itself is lovely, well equipped, clean and by far the nicest I have seen. Child growth and development is encouraged and this shows massively with our daughter. If you're looking for a nursery for your son or daughter then I really wouldn't look any further. If there is a space I recommend snapping it up.
