Little Cubs Academy Greenwich Nursery & Pre-School

We couldn’t be happier with Little Cubs Academy Greenwich Nursery & Pre-School. My 1.5 year-old loves his nursery and wants to go even on weekends. He’s always in a happy, playful mood at pick-up time, is a really good eater at nursery (vs not at all at home), and I have the feeling he’s best buddies with all his teachers. Every day at Cubs is an adventure. I’m so pleased I decided to enroll him; picking Little Cubs over a childminder was a tough decision at the time, as I was unsure of the relative merits and downsides. I personally love the experience as well; they’re friendly, small, and the experience is very personalised. They send photos and updates all day long, which I love and makes me feel really involved. For us personally - best nursery ever!

Our little daughter has been with Little Cubs Academy and to be very honest it has been one of the best periods for our daughter primarily and for her mum and myself. The way the team are taking care of her and making us feel she is in safe hands is exceptional. We are very happy we chose to have our daughter join your family. The management and leadership is always hands-on and personalizes the experience with our children. Kudos!

My wife and I were anxious because we are bilingual at home and we did not know how our son would settle. We had nothing to worry about. Little Cubs has been amazing from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team from our family.

Communication overall is excellent. Great app to see how your child’s day is going and observations, plus regular catch-ups with key workers.

Best nursery in Blackheath/Greenwich!

My son's experience with Little Cubs Greenwich has been nothing but amazing. He started there when he was 10 months and since then has developed so much. The care provided is so personal and tailored to every child - treating them as individuals while also instilling some routine. He is my second and I now know how much as a first-time parent I would have appreciated the ever-smiling staff at the door for pick up and drop offs - really puts your mind at ease - the staff seems like they are happy working here too as they seem to be happy and inviting always - can't recommend this nursery enough. We have to leave the nursery now as we are relocating but we are so sad to be leaving such a nurturing and caring environment. Thank you Little Cubs for all that you have done for my son.

I have nothing but admiration for the team at Little Cubs Academy. They are so lovely with my daughter and are obviously incredibly passionate about what they do. My daughter is now three and has been going to this nursery since she was one (except during the lockdown) and even during the pandemic the team were very conscious to keep us up to date and send us helpful activities for doing at home. You cannot put a price on being able to drop your child off and know they are going to have a lovely day and are in safe hands. Can't rate them high enough!

Little Cubs Academy is a fantastic nursery and we have loved sending our son there. It's in a great location in Greenwich which helps with the commute and the activities they provide are amazing. He has grown in confidence and comes home happy every day. It is by far the best nursery out of all of the nurseries we visited and are so happy we made the decision to join. From the time I had expressed an interest to admit my son into the nursery to this day, I have always had an extremely positive experience with them.

Taking care of a pre-schooler who just moved into a different country, has its own set of challenges. I am so happy with the way the entire team at Little Cubs Greenwich has taken care of him. From his initial settlement phase to helping him becoming a more confident and communicative child, his key workers have constantly helped and supported him.

I am really glad that I chose this nursery for my son, and believe that they have set a benchmark in child care which is not easy to match. I believe they touch all aspects of child development and well being and I continue to learn something new from them each day.

Your child and your family are made to feel like individuals here which is amazing. This is a great family-owned nursery with owners, management and teachers that actually care. Our youngest daughter attends Little Cubs Academy - Greenwich Nursery and it is the best nursery that we have attended. The staff are great and the nursery is beautiful. We viewed a number of the nurseries in greenwich and I am so glad that we made the choice of Little Cubs. I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Such a wonderful nursery and a great find. This nursery came highly recommended and I can see why. Before you think about joining a corporate-owned nursery you should check out these guys. They are family-owned, and all the staff and the headteacher are incredibly caring and great at what they do. We had a fantastic private tour from the headteacher who put our minds at rest and answered all of our questions. The settling in process was great, and we felt that the nursery held our hand every step of the way. All the food is homemade every day, and they use a great app for parent communication which is far superior to the one they used at our previous nursery.

We absolutely love Little Cubs Academy. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and really seem to enjoy what they do. My daughter has settled really well as we were very nervous from the beginning that it would take some time due to her spending so much time with us during the lockdown. They really go above and beyond. We love the fact that the owners have young children themselves, rather than this being a corporate-run nursery. We also love the weaning menu.

I could not recommend Little Cubs Academy enough. The only reason we left was because we had to return to the US. The owners, the staffing team and the whole ethos of the nursery is amazing. The communication and service was great and I just felt that they all really care, and are immensely passionate about what they do. We were made to feel incredibly welcome. The standards of care and teaching at the nursery are incredibly high. Please open up where we live in DC Little Cubs! We will miss you.

We have been very impressed with Little Cubs Academy Greenwich. Our daughter joined during the pandemic and it has been difficult not being able to go inside the nursery, however staff have been fantastic in providing feedback every day, providing regular daily updates via the parent app including pictures of my daughter doing activities/going to the park. I am genuinely so impressed by all of the staff - they are so caring and professional. I am also extremely happy in particular with my daughter's key work - they have really bonded and she makes such an effort to support my daughter's learning and development.

The only reason we are leaving is because we are moving out of the area; otherwise, we would have loved to keep her here until she went to school.

This is the first time we've felt genuinely relaxed and happy to leave our precious child somewhere because we know he is being looked after as if he were at home with us.

Overall we have had a positive experience. Obviously, things have been challenging during Covid, but we think the nursery has dealt with it well so far. Definitely a tough time for everyone, but my son seems to be very happy when I pick him up.

I also love the fact it is a family-run nursery and it is owned by parents.

Our daughter joined in February, great relationship with owners, amazing curriculum, love forest school and the big focus on the outdoors and nature. Love that they prioritise school readiness, the refurbishment seems great as well, nice atmosphere. Very happy.

Would strongly recommend this nursery. My daughter is very happy here and was pleased to go back when they re-opened last week. The recent refurbishment has made the environment more welcoming and we really value the varied curriculum and fresh food on offer. The communication between management and parents is excellent which makes our lives easier.
