Little Cubs Academy Greenwich Nursery & Pre-School

Our son has been attending Little Cubs for the last 2 years and always loves going to the nursery (even on weekends he would be ready with his shoes on). The staff takes very good care and always keeps them involved with loads of activities and learning games. The best part is that they get to go on lots of outdoor adventures (almost daily) to the museum, park, library and even the supermarket. He has become very independent and loves to learn new things. The daily communication from the nursery is phenomenal and you always know what the kids have been up to through the day. We couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Our daughter has just ‘graduated’ from Little Cubs, moving to a new nursery at just over 3 years old. She was at Little Cubs full time since 5 months old. The nursery is absolutely fantastic - a homely feel, all the staff care deeply about the children, there are lots of cuddles and high fives at the gates and our daughter always went in and came out with a smile. The development and educational side was great too - our girl loves books, dinosaurs and space, and knows that is important to be kind, take turns and share. Thank you so much, Little Cubs, could not have done it without you!

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Little Cubs Nursery and Preschool, reaching so many milestones along the way which the staff have greatly supported. They have done a great job of reinforcing anything that we implement at home with him, they are truly nurturing and every person who has taken care of him has taken the time to understand his behaviour and personality. They have provided invaluable support consistently from when he first started a few years ago, and have always been great at communicating his progress, any issues, and suggesting ways we can support him further at home. They always go the extra mile and I am so grateful to all of the staff at Little Cubs. I highly recommend their nursery!

Our child has been enrolled in Little Cubs for 4 months. We have had a very positive experience. The nursery came recommended to us, and we have been very happy with our decision. The staff have been amazing and our child seems to have settled in very well and made some good friends.

The use of the app is brilliant and the photos of the day kept me posted for every single activity they had. The kitchen cuisine is fresh and the space for playing is cosy and clean.

I am very happy with the nursery. It is exceptional from start to finish. My daughter has been attending Little Cubs Greenwich since she was 7 months old and she's in preschool now. She loves going in and even asking for it on the weekend. The staff are very friendly, caring and passionate. Communication is excellent and great at keeping us up to date. The daily activities and developmental learning are carefully planned so that all the children are engaged and having fun. Also love the fact that they venture out to the park, library, museum, riverside, focus on outdoor, nature and history. Her confidence and independence grew so much. Can't thank each and everyone in the nursery enough for everything you have done for my little one. Highly recommend!

My son has been attending Little Cubs Greenwich for 2 years now. It is an exceptionally well run nursery; the staff are very caring and look after the children diligently. The activities and developmental learning are carefully planned so that all the children are engaged, having fun and are well looked after - the daily app updates are also much better than other nurseries I have seen. The staff turnover is low and so my son knows all the careers by name, even if they're not in his class, and he loves the headteacher who is incredibly helpful and responsive should you need anything. I highly recommend Little Cubs to anyone searching in the area.

I'm very happy with this nursery. The staff offers a friendly, caring approach to looking after my daughter. The daily activities help to develop my daughter's learning as well as lots of free playtime. My daughter is always happy to be dropped off. I would like to thank the head teacher and the team!

Overall we have been very happy with the nursery. Both of our children have had a good experience. It was a last minute find as we moved to to area at short notice, and we found them to be very accommodating to our needs.

A lovely nursery. We always heard very good things from people in the area. Everything we experienced was to a high standard and the staff were always warm and friendly. Our child always seemed happy and secure in the environment.

My child absolutely adored Little Cubs from start to finish. We have never met such a group of caring and passionate individuals. The headteacher greets you at the door every day with a huge smile. My son came home every day with the biggest smile on his face and did not want to leave nursery. He made the most amazing friendships and his confidence and independence grew so much. We felt that we went on such a positive journey from the moment we arrived in the baby room, to when we left in the preschool. The parent app is amazing, as well as the outings to green spaces in the local area!

Little Cubs Academy Greenwich Nursery & Pre-School has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The key person in charge of my daughter is fantastic, as well as the headteacher of the nursery and the whole team. I love that they do awesome activities. This is a magical place. We heard so many good things about Little Cubs and it came highly recommended. I'm delighted to say all of it was true. We actually took our child out of another local nursery because we were not happy, so we were already feeling apprehensive. The welcome you get from day one is just amazing. So is the care and love that you receive from this place. My child just came out of their shell and flourished so much. The food, activities, the fact they spend so much time in nature and the outdoors is also amazing.

Better than anything we have experienced so far, and we are from the US. You are made to feel so welcome. You can see they put so much thought into what they do. They were always available to answer any questions, and the communication was great. We loved the big focus on nature and the outdoors.

We were at the nursery for two years, and my husband and I were incredibly impressed from day one how much of a nurturing and caring place it is. At the door every day you are greeted with beaming smiles from the staff members and all the children really love going in. We met some great parents and we could not recommend Little Cubs Academy more highly.

Thank you Little Cubs for giving my son an amazing start in life. Great nurseries are few and far between, and we appreciate everything you have done for us. You have made my son feel so welcome, and he has developed so much confidence. The change since he started has been magical as he was very quiet and reserved at the beginning. He has made so many great friends from the local area, and we have met many lovely parents.

Little Cubs is the most fantastic nursery we could not sing it’s praises more highly. I think our daughter would live there if she could. A big thank you to everyone who works at the nursery from all our family.

Outstanding in every way. We had a hard time finding the right nursery, as we are from overseas and are used to non-corporate nurseries that feel warm and welcoming with a big focus on the outdoors. Little Cubs is all that and more. You can just feel that is is different from everything else in the area. Little Cubs is owned by a family with young children themselves, and you feel that they can really relate to what you are going through. It is so nice that the owner actually does the enquiries, and spends the time to talk to you. From the moment you first interact with them you are made to feel like your child is an individual and they really care about their specific needs.

The nursery is bright an airy, and the rooms open up to the garden. I love the fact they spend so much time outdoors in nature throughout the week. The curriculum is very varied and they always seem to be doing different things. The food is great (wish we had the chef at home), and we love the parent app.

My son has been at Little Cubs since October 2020 and has absolutely flourished while there. He started as a shy two year old but has really come out of his shell. The staff are incredibly kind and supportive and seem genuinely excited to see the kids each day. Communication is excellent and they are really good at keeping us up to date. The food sounds delicious and my son eats a ridiculous amount while there, including things he’d never touch at home (‘mummy, I like nursery’s green beans, but not your green beans’). The only drawback is the small garden, but they do make up for this by taking the kids out most days to the riverside or Greenwich park, or even to places like the library, maritime museum, cutty sark and mudchute farm.
