Hove Village Day Nursery

We have been really happy with Hove Village, our daughter started in January 2024, all the staff have been so lovely and really helping her to settle in! We feel very comfortable with the care she is receiving as well as all the activities and the food seems fab too!

My daughter loves Hove Village. She feels safe and happy which is always evident at drop off where she happily goes to the educators for a hug and some breakfast. She is well cared for - sun cream is always reapplied when going outside, always encouraged to drink water and is provided with healthy meals that she loves. The education is child-centred and child-led with lots of exciting activities during the week including children's rugby and music. I highly recommend this nursery.

Hove Village has good facilities, great surrounding areas, fun activities for the children and most staff is lovely. My child has settled well, enjoys the time they spent at nursery and is happy to attend.

The nursery itself is very clean and they have a beautiful garden, as well as backing onto the park, which is amazing because they take trips to the beach and park. The food is all freshly cooked at the nursery and the smells on drop off and pick up are amazing! The variety is also great. I’ve never had a doubt here, all the staff are wonderful and my little boy’s development has been incredible.

My daughter has thrived since starting this nursery, she has come on leaps and bounds and is excited to go every week! I don’t think I’ve ever had her cry about leaving me. The staff are amazing and so genuine. I can’t fault this nursery one little bit. Love the extra classes they receive like rugby classes and yoga, just great details that sets this nursery above others.

From day one we felt so welcomed at the nursery, everyone from the reception, educators, cleaners, management always takes the time to say hello and ask after you and your child. Our boy has been at the nursery about seven months and has settled in so well. There always seems to be a big variety of activities and themed learning for the children as well as amazing sounding food! The educators are also great at staying in touch and giving snapshots of the activities in a given week. Couldn’t be happier with the care Hove Village are giving our child.

At the start, my child feared going to this nursery. But nowadays I can frankly say that my child really enjoys going to nursery. She loves all the activities at the nursery environment. She doesn’t feel a bore time over there. I hope I’ve given true feedback, considering nursery as a part of my family. Thanks for all.

We’ve had a great year at Hove Village. Our child has gone from feeling quite anxious about going to nursery to absolutely loving it, and that’s definitely to the credit of the lovely staff looking after him. He’s constantly doing amazing activities from dance, to rugby tots, to yoga, to music, to bread making! It’s very clear to me that he’s having a great experience.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the experience we’ve had at Hove Village and I wish the kids could stay there forever!

My daughter has been so happy at Hove Village. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating and leave me feeling reassured. The activities are creative and varied and the majority child-led which my daughter loves.

My rating is based on what I see from my boys, which is smiles, laughing, tops covered in paint and glitter, they are so happy to be there. I 100% recommend this nursery. Thank you

The new management has been a breath of fresh air throughout the nursery and I truly believe this is reflected in the experience my child receives every day he attends.

Our daughter has attended Hove Village since she turned one when I had to return to work so has been attending for almost 3 years, it was daunting leaving her anywhere but she has really blossomed no doubt in part due to the fantastic time she has had at nursery. We have always felt completely confident leaving her there due to the brilliant staff who provide such a caring and nurturing environment. She is always beaming when I collect her and I love getting the updates throughout the day showing the great range of activities she has been enjoying. Choosing the right nursery is a personal decision and for us, Hove Village has been such a happy experience, we can’t fault it. Plus the food seems much better than what I have for my lunch!

Hove Village has been wonderful for our son who started in Storks in January, the fact he greets the educators with a smile each morning and waves me off is always a good sign. We have been really pleased with support that has been provided to enable him to develop. The activities provided are great for stimulation and learning and we have seen his skills grow as well as language. The food provided is excellent as the menu provides variation. Couldn't think of anywhere better to send our children.

Our son has been at Hove Village Day Nursery for the past 18 months, having started at age 11 months. We have been delighted with the care that he has received - he adores going to nursery and we are very sad to be leaving due to relocation. We have been very impressed with the personal way that we have been dealt with by both the educators and administrative staff and by the way that all members of the team interact with the children. We have always been very happy with the care provided by the educators and it has been lovely to see the genuine affection displayed by so many of them towards our son. It has been wonderful to see how much his confidence and speech and language skills have grown under their care, and his passions for painting and messy play have been encouraged and supported. Most importantly for us, we have always felt confident and happy handing him over to the team knowing how well he will be cared for and how much he enjoys his time at nursery.

Absolutely love the preschool Starlings staff. They’ve been amazing, especially during this period when is our 4-year-old learning how to be a good big brother. The girls in Starlings are helping him with this transition and have been supporting him all the way since the beginning. As he’s very shy, and has difficulties with any type of transition, this has been a massive help and as his mother, I couldn’t appreciate it more. Thank you all!

Lovely nursery, with exceptional educators looking after my little one. We have been attending since October and I have seen a lot of positive shifts in behaviour, language development and social skills. We love the setting and staff are excellent.

My daughter loved going to the Bloomsbury Street setting. I can't recommend it highly enough. She went on regular trips to the beach and the local church. The staff all work hard and seem to really enjoy working there which makes for a great environment for the children.
