Brabyns Nursery School provides high-quality care and education for children aged 9 months and upwards. Located in Marple, the nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–6.00pm, for 50 weeks of the year, closing for two weeks over Christmas and scheduled staff INSET days.

Curiosity is at the heart of learning at Brabyns. Annual themes inspire discovery, while practitioners follow each child’s individual interests and ideas. Through strong relationships, observations, and ongoing assessment, staff get to know every child well, adapting activities and differentiating learning to provide appropriate support and challenge. Inclusion is central, ensuring all children feel valued and are supported to reach their potential.
The varied curriculum includes specialist sessions in cookery, Spanish, music, PE, performing arts and Forest School, helping children develop skills and confidence through hands-on experiences. The Brabyns team delivers all aspects of the nursery day, providing consistency and familiar relationships.
School readiness is a key priority, with a focus on independence, communication, confidence, early literacy and mathematics, and social and emotional development.
All nursery staff hold Level 3 Paediatric First Aid training. Strong partnerships with families help ensure every child is known, understood, and cared for in a safe, nurturing environment, supporting children to feel happy and excited to learn.
Parent and visitor parking is available in the car park located on site.

I would thoroughly recommend this early years nursery to anybody who would like their child to be extremely welcomed into their inclusive and caring family environment. The structure of the school day keeps my child interested and tested with enthusiasm and enjoyment as an added bonus. The manners of the children at this school are impeccable and I can see these being transferred to my 3-year old through role modelling from others. The teaching staff are wonderful and knowledgeable and I feel confident in their abilities to be able to sensitively teach and nurture the young ones in the class. My only concern is that I did not start her here earlier!

Absolutely fabulous, caring environment, with a strong staffing team and very good levels of communication with parents. Brabyns, given it's setting, does not benefit from a great deal of on-site facilities, but they make up for this with connections with local clubs and centres and they are very active in taking the children to benefit from these.
My son has gone from strength to strength whilst in this setting.

A wonderful school and an amazing nursery environment. The teaching is fantastic and the children get fully involved with school life with dedicated music, drama, Spanish, dance and PE lessons. I can't recommend it highly enough and wish I'd found it sooner.
