Our daughter E has settled very well at Little Elmhurst having started at the age of 2. E is always happy to go to nursery and confidently walks through the door each morning. E has made significant progress and we are able to pick up and drop off inside of the room. I am therefore able to see first
hand, the activities and learning objectives of the nursery. The environment is warm and family-orientated and we are always invited to engage and build solid relationships with all members of staff. World Book Day celebrations were fabulous. E's key worker Ms Malik is excellent, as is Ms Hyland, the nursery manager who operates an open door policy, which means we can always ask questions about E. There are also parent's evenings. I am very pleased with the way the nursery supports E's outside interests and I love the close relationship with staff at the preschool. Miss Lamprell, Mrs Gosai and Mrs King are amazing and know E very well which will make the transition to preschool seamless

My son started at Holmwood House Nursery in January and he has settled in so well. The trial sessions that were arranged made me feel completely at ease, as I was able to see him in the room interacting with other children and the staff. The updates on the app are fantastic, and it is brilliant to receive
so many photos of what they get up to during the day. At just 11 months old, my son is exploring the garden, creating bird feeders and painting, as well as developing his social and fine motor skills at an incredible rate. The staff are always so friendly at drop off and pick up, and my son is always thrilled to arrive.

My son attends the nursery. I love the fact that they focus on the child not the parents. I know that they are not just putting on a show because I'm there. They are genuinely child focused. They are quick to respond when you ask questions and our suggestions as parents are always welcome by the staff.

We visited many nurseries when choosing somewhere for our little boy, and nowhere felt quite right until we found Edenhurst. Hayley, who manages the nursery, is clearly passionate about her role and made it obvious that our son would be well cared for. The facilities are excellent, everything is always
clean, and they provide homecooked, varied meals every day. Even our fussy eater finishes every bite!
He's been attending for over four months now and had an emotional start, but the staff worked incredibly hard to help him settle, and he now genuinely loves going. We receive regular updates about how well he's eating, along with photos of him enjoying different activities. Knowing he's in such good hands has made returning to work far less stressful.
The children take part in a wide range of activities, and whenever I pick him up he's always beaming. I would highly recommend Edenhurst to anyone.

Can't praise the staff and place as a whole. We've loved sending the children and seeing them progress through the years.
My eldest has a bad skin condition and they've had to deal with that alongside everything else during his time there. They've always been extremely helpful.

This is our second child to have come through Holmwood House Nursery and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The fact that a number of the staff are still there despite the age gap of my children speaks volumes.
Our son is very happy to go into nursery and has never cried at drop off! His allergies
have been well supported as have any other medical needs which have arisen. When I arrive to collect him, he's always happy to see me but it's clear he loves the adults at nursery too and always goes back for one more hug before leaving! We are kept informed of our son's progress and the regular updates via the app are wonderful, especially as he's not yet able to communicate about his day himself. I have no doubt that he will continue to thrive whilst in this nursery. The staff are all approachable and nothing is ever too much trouble. I can't wait to continue our journey with this wonderful nursery and can't thank them enough.

Our experience at Holmwood House Nursery has been fantastic. My little girl joined when she was around 10 months old and started in Snowdrops, the baby room. Practitioners are faultless at what they do and always supported with whatever we needed. She is now transitioning into the next room, Bluebells
and the team have gone above and beyond to ensure she feels as happy and settled as she can. The manager is outstanding and is always on hand to help with personal touches which in my opinion, is extremely rare to find.
Regular updates are given via the app and you always feel welcomed to call if you have any concerns at all. Another thing we love is the excellent quality of food and snacks that are provided.

Our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My son has been part of this community since he was a baby, and the impact on his growth has been remarkable. Over the years, I've watched him develop into a confident, independent, and incredibly advanced child. Family, friends, and even complete
strangers often comment on how mature and capable he is for his age. They notice his communication skills, his curiosity, and the way he carries himself with such assurance. I truly believe the nurturing environment, the patience, and the intentional support he has received here have played a major role in shaping the child he is today. As a parent, it brings me so much joy and peace to know he is thriving in a place that sees his potential and helps him flourish every step of the way.

Edenhurst nursery has been a life saver for me the transition of getting my little one comfortable in going to nursery for three long days a week was scary for me but the staff made it so easy and so much more comfortable for my little one. He has been going to Edenhurst since the beginning of January
and he enjoys it tremendously that on his day offs he asks to go nursery. They have helped so much with potty training him and has become much more talkative. He is only 3 but has started to show interest in reading books since starting nursery as well. This has to be one of the best day nurseries around.

As a mum, I couldn't have been happier with the care and education my child received at Brabyns Nursery. The staff were warm, skilled, and genuinely cared about helping each child thrive. My child made wonderful progress with early phonics and reading, gaining confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
The balance between structured teaching and creative play was perfect-each day was filled with imaginative activities, music, art, and outdoor fun. It was clear the team knew every child well and planned with real thought and care. Brabyns gave my child an exceptional start and a true love of learning.

Wonderful setting for both my 2 year old in the nursery room and my 4 year old in pre-reception. There grounds are amazing, with forest school every week, the children go outside everyday, rain or shine. The opportunity for the children to have swimming lessons from age 3 is a real game changer compared
to other nurseries in the area! The staff are extremely friendly and great with the children. I feel that each age group is really cared for and have very age relevant teaching. Then the opportunity for them to all play together, and sometimes with the older children in the prep school is really lovely and makes it feel like a family, but also proper school setting - great for preparing for school start.

My son has been here for the last 3 years and is about to start Reception in September - he is confident, independent and a happy little soul who is fully prepared for primary school emotionally, physically and academically. He has loved all the outside play, no matter the weather, in forest school,
playground, walks around the grounds etc. He loves swimming, PE, the sports day and dancing too. He has a strong sense of friendship, loves all his teachers and runs in everyday ready to play and get stuck in to all the new activities which are themed each week to support the Early Years learning. The children also benefit from the school's facilities, so he has gone to the school library regularly, interacts with the older children through buddy reading, and the nursery children participate in assemblies and wider school activities as appropriate. Sending him to Little Oaks has been one of my best decisions and I always recommend Little Oaks to prospective parents

My daughter has been attending Elmhurst School Lil Elms nursery from September 2024 and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The nursery provides a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where my daughter has thrived both socially and academically.
The staff are exceptionally caring
and attentive, always ensuring that each child feels safe and supported. My daughter particularly enjoyed the engaging activities and the creative learning approach, which helped boost her confidence and curiosity.
Communication with the nursery has been excellent, with regular updates and a friendly, approachable team. We have seen my daughter grow in independence and enthusiasm for learning, and she always looks forward to her time at Lil Elms.
We are grateful for the positive start Elmhurst School Lil Elms has given my daughter and highly recommend this nursery to other parents looking for a caring and stimulating early years setting.
