The Grosvenor Day Nursery

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Our daughter has been going to this nursery for nearly 3 years. She has been really happy, made really good friends and has learned so much. Also, she is bilingual and they have always supported her in any way they could. Our son started two months ago aged 9 months and he is really happy there too. The staff are really friendly, dedicated and supportive. They are always willing to talk to parents, answer any questions and accommodate any needs. Always trying to improve to provide the best care for children. The best nursery we could ever have asked for and we would miss you deeply!

The nursery and the staff there, are simply amazing. Our son was a bit shy and clingy after spending the best of 18 months in a very minimal exposure environment, due to Covid. I really wasn’t sure how it was going to go. The staff have been super accommodating to his needs and have given him all the attention he needed to settle in. He is now a confident little boy that loves his time there. The staff have been really amazing and curious. They even tried to learn and refresh their language skills so he wouldn’t feel left out when speaking in any of his three languages. I honestly would have never expected this, but it is so good to see. In terms of inclusiveness, it sets the standard very high!

We have been using the Grosvenor day nursery for 4 years now for both our girls. We couldn't recommend it highly enough! The staff are amazing with the kids and even try to learn different languages to assist bi-lingual children. The nursery is very flexible to modern working patterns and is always eager to help parents with difficult schedules. Our girls both love it there and have learned so much. It is so lovely to see their characters developing with all the new skills they have developed at the nursery.

The best nursery in the South West! If I had 10 children, all ten would have to go there. Staff are the best, my son has learned so many things there and I must give all the credit to people who work at The Grosvenor Day Nursery. Extremely recommended!

Fantastic nursery with highly attentive and friendly staff. Our son has attended for almost 3 years, and our daughter for around a month. We've been nothing but impressed with the Grosvenor since day one, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We love the Grosvenor and so do our little girls. The staff are kind and caring and carefully plan to support each child’s needs. Our eldest was at Grosvenor for four years and our youngest has been there for a year. The flexibility is so brilliant and definitely something other settings don’t offer. The communication is great too. Our little one comes home every day happy, rested and well fed and we couldn’t be happier with what the Grosvenor offers.

Love this nursery! They have always been so good with both of my boys, nothing is too much for them and my children have made some special bonds with both the staff members there and other children. The nursery staff genuinely care about the children and my boy always comes home having had the best day with his friends. Would highly recommend it.

Our daughter started here last September aged ten months and we couldn’t be happier with how well she settled, is looked after and how much she is thriving! The love and care shown to her are exceptional, and she is always happy going in. Her speech, and confidence, has developed amazingly as has her eating due to the lovely food served. All the staff are wonderful and have been so supportive and kind to us during a difficult few months, which has been so appreciated.

My daughter is learning a lot at the nursery, she loves the staff and is happy in their company. The meals provided are more than acceptable and suitably nourishing. I would highly recommend The Grosvenor Day Nursery. The manager, one particular member of staff and the team are fantastic. Thank you!

Both my children have attended The Grosvenor Day Nursery and have had wonderful experiences. My daughter was incredibly shy and was often upset when I left her, but the staff always made me and her feel safe and supported. I saw such a change in my daughter as a result of her time at nursery. My son is the opposite and always has a blast. The setting is small, so you can be confident of one on one time, and the outside area is a great space. All the staff are so caring and fully engaged in the development of the individual children. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our son has been going to Grosvenor Day Nursery for just over a year. They have been amazing from the very start. They had settling in days to see if it was a good fit for him and frequent updates at the start, which put my mind at ease knowing he was OK. I can't praise the staff enough for how attentive and caring they are to the children here. Within a few days of starting he would keep mentioning the staff members names at home and was so happy to see them on his nursery days, that we felt comfortable that he was being looked after really well there. You can tell how much the staff love the children here because of how fondly they speak of the kids here and they know all of the children really well and seem to love what they do. They have also been very accommodating with providing childcare at short notice when I have had to pick up extra shifts at work. I feel very relaxed leaving my son here as I know he is loved and feels at home. Keep up the good work!

Couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my son. All staff there are amazing and they truly care about the children. The staff always take the time to let you know what they have been up to. Days at the nursery are structured with a variety of fun learning activities and my son learns so much there. My nearly 3 year old has attended The Grosvenor Day Nursery since he was 18 months old, I honestly could not recommend this nursery enough.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The nursery manager and the team are completely dedicated to the happiness, development and care of the children. My son could not be happier in this setting. It's a fun, joyful environment, backed up by the solid foundations in learning and knowledge. The staff cannot be faulted for their kindness and genuine care for the children. This is the kind of place where, if you bump into one of the staff of a weekend, the kids are so excited to see them! Who could ask for more? Deciding where to send your child is hard, especially when they are tiny, but after 2 years with the Grosvenor, I wouldn't choose anywhere else.

We had visited other nurseries but they'd all felt a little clinical. We got a totally different impression when visiting the Grosvenor - it felt immediately welcoming and homely.

Our daughter has additional needs and the staff have been amazing. She has progressed amazingly since starting and most importantly she absolutely adores going to nursery every morning.

Our child is confident, expressive, kind and thoughtful and I attribute these strengths to the commitment the Grosvenor family has had to his development and well being. Our son looks forward to his days at nursery and comes home with new skills and a growing sense of accomplishment. I am so happy that we chose Grosvenor for these fundamental years in our son’s life.

The nursery is personal, loving, individual, friendly and tailored to each child. Every staff member knows the children in the nursery individually and they are all wonderful, loving people who go above and beyond to look after your children. I would never hesitate to leave my children with these wonderful ladies! Thank you for all you do. The nursery is fun, secure and happy! And child-centred - everyone spends time on the floor with the children and managers are always around - with the children being in the heart of what they do!

Absolutely fantastic nursery! I highly recommend The Grosvenor to anyone. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and I felt fully reassured he would be fine there due to the amount of settling in sessions that were offered. The staff are very kind, experienced and attentive and have really worked hard to ensure they are making my son's time with them the very best it can be. In particular, they have given extra advice and help with his speech and language and most recently potty training. They really do go the extra mile! The value for money is excellent. Food, resources, building, garden, location (on the outskirts of the city centre), are also fantastic. My son never wants to leave at the end of the day!

We will definitely miss them when school starts and is time to say our goodbyes.

Mum, I was very nervous about leaving my daughter but have not had a single problem since she started. She absolutely adores the staff and is always excited to arrive. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. She has progressed so much while she has been there and I would highly recommend to anyone!

This is a lovely nursery, they treat everyone like family and you know you are leaving your child in safe hands. They focus on learning as well as playing, with lots of outside time. I couldn’t rate this nursey more highly! Also when I have had a last-minute problem they have always come through to look after my child for me. Which makes me know they care.
