The Grosvenor Day Nursery

We moved into the area in November 2017, and with my wife and I both working full time, it was a priority to find a nursery for our son.

Our son had been in a nursery in the 12 months prior to us moving so we knew what to expect and what we were looking for.

The Grosvenor Day Nursery was just one of a number that we looked at, however; this was the only one that met all our requirements. My wife actually found it and when she was telling me about the pricing, location, etc. I thought she must have made a mistake. This place is a true gem in the heart of Exeter.

The staff here are extremely helpful, caring and considerate. From day one they have been attentive to the needs of my child and the family as a whole. They go above and beyond what they need to do to make sure you and your children are happy.

The meals and snacks are produced on site by their own chef. The food is healthy and balanced and, remarkably, included in the price you pay. There are no hidden costs.

My son has been attending this nursery for over 3 years, throughout that time he has learnt so much. He is always well fed and comes home telling us about all the amazing things he had learnt and done during the day. The staff are always very friendly and you can tell they have a real passion in regards to working with young children. We will be very sad when he leaves to go school next year.

My grandchildren love going to nursery, they get so excited when it's a nursery day. My eldest grandchild is in the pre-school room and my youngest in the baby room, I love how enthusiastic the staff are they are always so welcoming. The nursery is so spacious and everything is open plan, it's lovely walking into the nursery and seeing them playing before they spot you. The nursery is always flexible with my shift patterns and helping fit them in at last minute which is an absolute godsend! The girls are always shattered after a day at nursery which is always a good sign!

This is a great nursery! My daughter has built lots of confidence and has developed her speech and numeracy skills since she started here just 2 months ago. I feel she is being taught but at the same time, being treated as if she were family.

The Grosvenor Team are just wonderful and have made me and my son feel so welcome, it's like a little family there and nothing is too much trouble for them. I genuinely believe the children they look after are at the heart of all they do and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend the nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for two days a week for over a year and loves it there. She recently did three weeks full time and her development improved noticeably. The staff are lovely and the activities are fun and varied.

They help to encourage friendships between the children which is great to hear my daughter happily talking about how she is friends with all the other children and playing well together. Basically, an all round great nursery and I feel very comfortable and happy sending my child there.

We absolutely love The Grosvenor Nursery, the staff, facilities and play areas are first class. My son has the best time at nursery and as a full-time working mum, it is comforting to know all the staff adore my baby boy and give him all the love, comfort and attention he needs. His development in social skills and learning whilst at the nursery is a credit to their approach to teaching and development of each child. Seeing the smiles, hearing the giggles or singing and the obvious love the children have for their teachers is heartwarming.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for 2 years and it's great the staff have always been amazing with her , she absolutely loves it there. I would recommend it to anyone with children to send them here.

The Grosvenor Day Nursery is absolutely amazing! My child has been going there for nearly 3 years and we have never had any issues at all! All staff is lovely, friendly, professional and 100% committed to their job role! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable friendly and happy nursery!

Our 2-year-old daughter couldn't be happier here. She clearly feels safe, cherished and is thriving. Our 2 older children went to other nurseries in our previous city and so we've a reasonable experience of nurseries. I can honestly say that Grosvenor Day Nursery offers the best of all the nurseries we've encountered. The manager and the team work so hard and it is very evident they take huge pride in their work.

Our boys are so happy at The Grosvenor Nursery! They come home happy and chatty about their day and have made lots of friends. The staff are lovely and our boys have really taken to them! They have learnt so much since being there because of the broad range of activities they do. We would recommend The Grosvenor to friends and family!

My children absolutely loved it at the nursery. They were extremely happy and fulfilled at the end of the day which is all a Mum wants! The manager and the team are warm, caring and very focused on looking after the children's individual needs.

As a working mum it was really difficult to find a nursery that accommodated my shift patterns. The manager and her team can't do enough to help me with mine and my child's needs. My child looks forward to nursery every day and the care they receive takes away the guilt as I know my child loves it so much. Couldn't recommend more, excellent value for money.

Our daughter is very happy at the Nursery. She is engaged and well looked after. They have done an excellent job of supporting our routine at home, particularly with eating and sleeping. Communication is generally detailed and helpful. We really enjoyed the latest parents' afternoon.

My son has been attending the Grosvenor Day Nursery for one year. He is a shy little boy who only attends one day a week. The staff have been excellent when greeting him each morning even though he gets upset. They are reassuring and make me feel able to walk away knowing that he'll have a good day and be well cared for. There are a variety of resources and activities on offer including a lovely garden (with a rabbit), which my son loves. The setting is spacious and I like that the setting can only accommodate a small amount of children each day (I think a total of 26). I would highly recommend this nursery with excellent staff and management.
