Space Station Day Nursery

My son has been going to Space Station since September 2023 and joined when he was just 11 months old so I could return to work. As most mothers, I felt really nervous leaving him at such a young age and with people I didn't know but the staff have really put my mind at ease. They have been so understanding of my wants, needs, routine, etc and are all so friendly and approachable. The frequent updates via the app are really comforting and it's so nice to see what my son is doing throughout the day. I feel like the team genuinely cares about my son. My son absolutely loves going to nursery! His development has progressed so much and this is definitely due to the great staff, their curriculum and being around other children. I would highly recommend the nursery.

My little boy has been at Space Station since he was 9 months old he's now 3 and ready to move over to pre-school. I cannot rate the nursery highly enough the care and compassion from all staff throughout the years have been amazing, he's thrived and learnt so much, he's always happy to go and will tell me all about the exciting things he's done during his day. I will be very sad that he's leaving.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 1 year old! She adapted very quickly due to the staff's kindness. They were always there to comfort her if she needed it. Thank you for all your support and care that you offer to our children.

Amazing toddler room especially one lady, she has been amazing! I don't want him to leave the toddler room! The communication is amazing between parents and staff all staff are very welcoming and put you at ease straight away! Would 100% recommend Space Station to anyone.

My son has been attending Space Station since January 2024. He was 9 months old when he started and settled in so well. When he started he couldn't crawl, or walk and was not the best eater. Since being at the nursery, he has developed so well and is now crawling, nearly walking and is a great eater! His key worker provides regular reviews which is great to hear about his progress. I like the easy nature of the app and can get updates throughout the day on his eating, sleeping and movements. All the staff are friendly, give great advice and support him to develop. The secure nature of Space Station is one of the reasons I chose here and this has not disappointed me.

When it was time to go back to work I decided after viewing Space Station that it would be perfect for my daughter. As a first-time mum, I was very nervous about leaving my daughter, staff made me feel very at ease during the transition period, I was given updates and a detailed handover when picking her up. Now 3/4 months on from starting my daughter has come on so much, the staff are absolutely brilliant with her and I can see she has created some really positive bonds! My daughter enjoys all the great activities/learning sessions they do and she is given a varied diet/new foods to try that she may have not tried at home! Best decision I ever made and can't thank the staff and management enough for how amazing they are with my daughter!

Leaving our son's nursery is bittersweet, but we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible experience he's had here. The staff at Space Station have been like family to us, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that's helped our little one thrive. From the warm welcomes every morning to the thoughtful activities and care throughout the day, we've been consistently impressed. The dedication and love shown by the staff have truly made a lasting impact on our son's development. While we're sad to say goodbye, we'll always cherish the wonderful memories created here. Thank you to the amazing team at Space Station for everything you've done for our family. He will definitely miss you all. You've earned every one of these five stars and more!

This is an outstanding nursery. my son has come along so much since he started here last year, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Also, his key worker is amazing with him; they have formed a special bond, which is lovely to see. Overall, I would recommend this nursery to everyone; it really is a great place to send your children. I am going to miss him going here, and I’m sure he is too.

Since both my children started Space Station Day Nursery, they have both come on leaps and bounds, every member of staff is amazing with all the children, they help with their needs and extra encouragement with day-to-day basics. Couldn’t thank them enough and I highly recommend anyone to this nursery.

Lovely, friendly warm atmosphere, staff are very professional, my daughter needed lots of support from staff when going into nursery, when leaving Mum and Dad she got very upset, the staff were amazing with how to deal with her and as she attached to one member of staff the other girls always tried to make that staff member available when my daughter was going into nursery to make the pass over as calmly as possible for my daughter... so thank you to management, nursery room girls and cook for making our girl lovely hot meals. My daughter will miss you all so so much. you are all superstars. Written from Mum and Dad.

Can’t fault this nursery one bit. My little girl has been going for a year now and started in the baby room where the staff are absolutely lovely. I was so nervous sending her to nursery as I’m a first-time mum and didn’t know what to expect but the ladies looked after her so well and were also there to support me and Dad if we had any questions. They would encourage her so much to hit the milestones and even after being there for 2 weeks she had done so much. Now she’s in the waddler room and again, the girls are great with her. They’re so supportive in and out of the nursery. There have been times where I’ve mentioned I’ve been struggling with something particular like behaviour or eating and they have given me support in that specific area and given me different things to try and it’s been great. I have absolutely zero concerns sending my little one there and she absolutely loves it!

My little one has unfortunately picked up a few illnesses that have been going around so his time at the nursery has been a bit stop/start. However, the staff are excellent and friendly. This generates a warmth around the place which has helped him to settle in despite him having breaks from the nursery. They all seem to have a genuine affection for all the babies which is nice to see. Updates and photos are put up on the app so you can see what your little one is up to.

Behind the scenes, it is well managed and you are always kept informed about what is going on and queries are handled quickly and efficiently. You are also kept informed of various schemes available which is very handy. As for the ratings: As my child is a baby, I don't know the Outside Space, Learning, Resource / Equipment / ICT but you are forced to give an answer.

Amazing, my little girl goes to the Space Station Day Nursery in Droylsden and she struggles with change and they work wonders with her, couldn't have a better place for her, would most definitely recommend them to everyone.

Space Station was the best nursery for my little boy, he gained an amazing personality and learnt so much in just a few weeks of being there. He still asks to go to nursery in the mornings which shows just how much he loved it there. The staff were amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a safe place for childcare.

Perfect overall! Wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else for my son to go, amazing staff a great atmosphere, huge selection of toys I feel so at ease when my son is in the care of Space Station and never have any worries.

The nursery itself is very welcoming, with cameras for the rooms in the hallway and lots of resources for the children to play with indoors and outdoors. My daughter's development and confidence have come on so much since starting all thanks to the staff and her lovely key worker! After working in nurseries myself I couldn't recommend the Space Station enough, it's like a home from home.

Our son has been with Space Station for just under a year and we have had a really fantastic experience with them. The staff are all extremely caring and communicative, particularly our son’s key worker and the manager of the nursery, who have both been extremely professional and responsive whenever we’ve needed to contact them and they provide frequent updates on how our son is doing and general developments at the nursery. The children are always being engaged in a variety of activities and staff go above and beyond to organise fun events and build a sense of community. The facility is always spotless, you can see the attention staff put into the cleaning at the end of the day, and the food provided is nutritious and varied. Our son absolutely loves his time at nursery, he’s made so many friends and developed such a range of skills with the help of the staff. Can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

But, the care my daughter was given (and me haha) is second to none! Totally put my mind at ease and the reassurance, pics, messages while my daughter settled in were amazing. I wouldn't bat an eye about recommending the Space Station to other parents! Thanks for everything!

The best nursery! The staff are just amazing, they listen to parents and are so supportive with everything, my daughter loved her time here and she learnt so much. She settled in so quickly. The staff are constantly updating the app on nappy changes / food that has been eaten / development, including photos etc. I would recommend this nursery to everyone, my daughter has now moved to the pre-school over the road and absolutely loves it.
