Banana Moon Day Nursery Ashmore

My son has been attending Banana Moon for a year now, the staff have helped him so much with his separation issues, his speech is amazing, every day when he comes home he has learnt something new! My son is always happy and content when going into nursery, the staff help as much as they can and answer any questions I have. I'm happy knowing my son is safe, happy and well looked after. Putting him into nursery so early was the best decision I've made, after his journey here I know he will be set for his journey to start at school. Honestly cannot thank the staff enough! Especially his key worker.

This nursery have been amazing with both of my daughters over the last 3 years. Both have come on so much, teachers have been outstanding and go above and beyond.

Our little boy has been attending baby/mini-moons since Sept and he absolutely loves it. The staff are excellent and extremely attentive and as a result our little one loves being there. The staff all know him by name and are friendly and approachable. He has his own key person who knows exactly what he likes and dislikes but even so he is comfortable going to any of the staff. He does a range of activities each week and many that extended his learning experiences. The food he eats is healthy and nutritious and he has plenty during the day. We get daily reports and can have access to his file at any time which is always up to date and as part of this have had lots of photos shared with us of his learning which is lovely. Working in education myself I feel confident knowing our little boy is also getting a great start towards his learning journey. A fab little place. Well done all!

Banana Moon staff are always friendly and approachable. They have supported me and my child well with potty/toilet training and the recent introduction of the online App is a great new feature.

My son has been at this nursery for a while now having started in the baby room and moved through the other rooms. What strikes me about the nursery is the fantastic pastoral care; my son has a genuine love for some of the staff who really care for him. The level of interaction and activities is way beyond other nurseries. When I collect my son, it always strikes me how happy the children are and how engaged the staff are too.

Sometimes when I collect my son, the place is like a bomb site, not through tardiness or lack of cleaning but because kids are encouraged to play and develop when you drop them the next day, the rooms are immaculate again.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

My twins started at Banana Moon not long after it opened. They were 2. They are now 4 and LOVE their nursery! They have improved so much with their drawing and writing, as well as speaking and listening. One of my girls wasn't always as confident as she is now and I credit a LOT of her confidence to Banana Moon.

I also have a little boy in the baby moons room. He has attended since he was 7 months and is now 18 months old. He is a confident little boy and loves nursery. His is keyworker and is absolutely amazing! I really believe she cares for my son and I've often seen my little boy run to give her cuddles.

Staff are brilliant, food must be fab because my kids usually clear their plates and facilities are clean and designed for the children's needs within the room. Can not recommend enough!

I can't put into words how much my daughter has improved since starting at Banana Moon. Her speech has improved dramatically, she's toilet trained, she's more willing to socialise with others, more confident as a person, as well as a happy and bubbly little girl. My little girl was always excited to tell us about her day at nursery. It was lovely to hear her friends shouting her as she arrived and saying goodbye as she left, she has made some lovely friendships whilst at Banana Moon, with other children as well as staff. The staff at Banana Moon have been amazing and are an amazing group of ladies, very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Banana Moon, for giving my daughter the help and encouragement she needed, as we had a terrible experience elsewhere. Overall, we have had an amazing experience at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Ashmore Park.

My daughter absolutely loved going to Banana Moon Ashmore, she settled extremely well in each room thanks to their great transition activities and wonderful staff. The setting was a winner for us in comparison to other nurseries we looked at; friendly, welcoming, clean, new and stimulating. The staff often went above and beyond in their care and I always felt like my daughter was extremely well looked after. We were always welcomed with friendly faces and felt like the management very much had an “open door” approach where we could speak to them about anything at all. The detailed feedback that is delivered to parents daily is a prime example of this. We were really sad to leave the nursery due to my daughter starting school but the skills and relationships she developed will stay with her always.

I can't believe how much she has picked up and learnt over the years. She is very well mannered, sharing and caring with others. She has now become a very confident well-spoken child and it is all thanks to Banana Moon staff. I have absolutely no regrets about sending my child here. I am actually grateful that they opened at the right time we were looking for a nursery. We have seen the nursery expand and it's amazing. We most definitely have been recommending the nursery to our friends and family.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon since it first opened until July 2018 when she left because we moved area. The nursery is extremely accommodating and approachable in its set up. My daughter's development has been credited to the staff at Banana Moon. All the staff work very hard as the hours are long and they are there from the start of the day and most are there until it finishes which is at 6.30pm. The owners are always looking at ways to improve the nursery and welcome feedback. The nursery manager is an extremely endearing and knowledgeable lady and always has time to speak with you. The nursery looks good and is kept very well and my daughter has enjoyed her time there and is still visiting even though we have left the nursery.

My daughter learned so much being at Banana Moon. She really enjoyed her time there and all staff were very friendly and informative. The highlight for me was the Christmas performance you could see the hard work put it by the staff and children blew us away. I loved hearing all the creative things my daughter had done during the day. And my daughter especially enjoyed meal times and the wide variety of healthy food and snacks

Our son has been going to Banana Moon for over 12 months and has loved every minute of it. He is always happy and has learned some very important basic skills ready for school.

We couldn't thank the staff at Banana Moon enough for helping our son grow in confidence on a daily basis. His learning went from strength to strength and it meant a lot as parents to see our son so happy. We would recommend Banana Moon to everyone!

My son has just left this nursery to start reception and was very sad to go. The staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery Ashmore are fantastic. Very friendly, approachable and look after each child in a unique way. Since starting there my son can now add and subtract, write his name beautifully and tries more foods. They understood he needed help with balancing and movement and introduced yoga and Zumba to help him along (which he loved). They have so many wonderful toys and activities for children to play with and a great outdoor space with new things added throughout the year. They bake lots of healthy snacks and take trips to local post offices and greengrocers to let them explore. I will definitely be sending my next son here when he is old enough.

My son really enjoys nursery, he is involved in lots of organised activities and he especially enjoys the outside play. The meal plan is excellent, offering a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. The nursery is very good at keeping parents updated and I feel the communication is excellent. The staff are currently in the process of supporting my son with potty training. I have no worries and feel rest assured that I’m leaving my son in very safe hands. Commend all the staff as they all work so hard to run such a lovely happy Nursery!

Very friendly, approachable staff. Plenty of activities for the children. Very clean and welcoming. Also, like the newsletter to keep us up to date. The daily report of what child has done and eaten is fantastic.

I am so pleased with the amazing care my daughter receives at Banana Moon. Since joining last year she has changed so much. She was a quiet, shy little girl and she had been slow to talk. Now she is a super confident and very chatty little girl who loves nursery very much. All the staff have been fantastic. I love that they all know who she is despite the fact she only attends for two sessions a week. I always feel I am leaving her with people who really know her and understand her. The nursery itself has great facilities and well planned activities. I would highly recommend Banana Moon Ashmore to other parents.
