Charley Barley's Nursery

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Charley Barleys, in my daughters room and in the office, theyre all lovely and friendly. The facilities are well looked after and it has a welcoming warm atmosphere.

I would definitely recommend this place in all fields.

Charley Barley's is a wonderful nursery. What really impressed me is the staff. They really care about your child and make you feel like you are leaving them in a safe and loving place. My darling daughter had a hard time leaving me at first and they went above and beyond to help. From practical advice and calling me to reassure me, to inventing a game where her favourite nursery toy (Marshall from Paw Patrol) is getting ready for his first day at pre-school. They even wrote a letter from Marshall to my child that we read at home to make the experience a positive one! Really lovely.

Charley Barley's always has a warm and welcoming feel, the staff are so caring and friendly, and our son is very happy there. We have been impressed with all aspects of the nursery, including the quality of the food, activities and communication between staff and parents.

Brilliant nursery, extremely friendly and warm staff who are always around to help. The management have a genuine interest in the child's welfare too.

Charley Barley's really is a “home away from home” and a very special nursery!

She’s been there four months now and absolutely loves it there and settled in really quickly.

Charley Barley's have impressed me since my son joined in January. The staff are all very friendly, nurturing and approachable. Systems are well organised and their communication goes above and beyond. The environment is stimulating and tapestry updates and demonstrate a range of fun and engaging learning opportunities. Most of all, my son adores being at nursery, leaving with a beaming smile and being very content in the evenings (including being suitably worn out!) He is clearly being looked after very well.

It is very well run and feels like one big family.

The team at Charley Barley combine a personable manner with a professional service. The team show a genuine interest in the development and care of the children they look after, and their level of interaction is of a high standard.

The facilities are to a high specification and maintained well. The added bonus of having its own outdoor space and proximity to local parks also mean my son and the other children benefit from a variety of activities.

The varied range of refreshments provide nutritional value and offer a wide span of foods for the children to try and enjoy.

The activities my son participates in are both enjoyable (as evidenced from the team’s use of Tapestry), and supportive of his development.

The staff are accessible, friendly and more than happy to discuss any queries and address any needs specific to a child.

I have and would again recommend Charley Barley as a place to trust the care of your most precious commodities.

We couldn’t be happier with Charley Barleys for our son, since the first settle session the staff have been brilliant which took away much of the anxiety I was feeling about leaving my son to go back to work. He absolutely loves it and has so much fun with all the great activities they do. As soon as he started there we noticed huge steps developmentally in terms of walking, talking and eating. It’s lovely leaving him with his friends and knowing he’ll have a nice day.

From the first visit to the nursery, we were favourably impressed by the staff, venue and atmosphere. Modern, clean and colourful, the nursery felt very homely. We liked the fact that the staff are very friendly and smiling, always available to answer your questions and give suggestions and advice. The management team is very helpful and answers queries in a timely, professional and caring way. Since joining in November 2017, we have not been disappointed. Our little one is enjoying her time there. We are happy to hear how she did when we pick her up. Tapestry entries are timely and detailed, with many photos. So happy that Charley Barley's Nursery is in our neighbourhood!

Going back to work was daunting and as a single mum, my support network is even more important. My daughter is one and she loves going to nursery, she has such a great time and I can relax knowing she is totally happy. The children do so many activities, it has been fantastic for development and learning. The staff are all lovely, they accommodate all of our needs, they genuinely care and this means so much.

When looking around nurseries for our little boy, my husband and I both had a good feeling about Charley Barleys straight away, and we haven't been disappointed. Our son joined the baby room at the beginning of September, just before his first birthday, and we are so pleased with the care and attention that he receives. The staff are all very approachable and friendly, which greatly helped the transition to nursery for all of us. The nursery has a home-from-home feeling, with only a small number of babies in the baby room. It is spotlessly clean and organised, with good quality toys and equipment. Although my son only attends for two afternoons a week, he gets a Tapestry update every day, which is uploaded that day or the day after, and it is so lovely to see the activities that he has been up to. At pick up, his key worker or another member of staff always take the time to talk about his day and all seem to know him well already, despite him not having been there that long.

Our daughter has been in the baby room for just over a month now and we are very happy with our decision. All the staff are great, the owners are really hands-on and approachable and our daughter is very happy! One of the biggest areas of praise is for the frequency and quality of the Tapestry updates. We mostly receive a photo update every day she is in, on the day or the day after which is absolutely brilliant, it's lovely to see what she is up to throughout the day. We feel very happy with the care and she is receiving at Charley Barley's.

Our son has just started at this nursery and I have found everybody to be really friendly and welcoming. I really like the updates about how he is getting on through tapestry. Although, it is hard leaving my son, I am confident that he is well cared for by lovely staff. Thank you Charley Barley’s!

I cannot recommend Charley Barley's enough. The staff provide amazing care for the children and very quickly understand what each child needs (be it entertainment or cuddles). They are so warm and nurturing with the children, and clearly genuinely care about the children. The nursery itself is spotlessly clean with an excellent range of toys/games/equipment and they do so many brilliant activities. They keep us updated regularly with photos and comments, and do their best to make it as much of a home from home as they can. My twins have developed enormously since starting there, and seem to have so much fun!

Very impressed with Charley Barley's, and our son loves it. We love the very regular Tapestry updates.
