Children will be supported to learn in a 'home-away-from-home' environment where they can feel safe and secure in friendly and welcoming surroundings.

A team of skilled staff are trained to monitor and ensure child well-being as children learn through exploring the environment around them.

Charley Barley's will provide children with the opportunity to participate in a range of different activities during their day-to-day routines, both inside and outside of the nursery setting.

Faultless! I cannot speak highly enough of Charley Barley's in Brighton, it is a new nursery and they have thought of everything. The security and safety and happiness are top of their agenda, the place is spotless, the systems they have in place are excellent and I have total faith in them. My daughters
face lights up when we get close and every time I pick her up she is happy, smiling and worn out, ensuring a great nights sleep for me! After visiting almost every nursery in Brighton, we 100% made the right choice, cannot praise this place enough!

Very warm friendly and dedicated staff at Charley Barley's. My daughter enjoys her time there very much. Would definitely recommend Charley Barley's to anyone.


The Tapestry is always updated and I enjoy seeing my daughters weekly progress.


Charley Barley's appears to be a very well equipped nursery

with plenty of space and a lovely outdoor playing area.

After a tricky time at another nursery, our daughter was made to feel safe, secure and enthused from the start. The communication and relationships staff have built with both children and parents make it feel that I'm leaving my daughter with trusted friends who have a genuine love and care for both
her emotional and physical development.

I have nothing but praise for Charley Barley's.


Every member of staff is so friendly and go out of there way to make my daughter feel settled and welcome each time she arrives. Her smile as she enters the building is all I need, to know how happy she is there.

I love this nursery. We moved because we didn't feel the last nursery was caring for our daughter properly.


At Charlie Barley's we know she is. She is happy to go and loves all the staff.


We have already got 4 of our friends going, through our recommendation that says it all.

I knew as soon as I walked in the door that Charley Barley's was the perfect place for my son. It is warm and friendly and I know the staff genuinely care about my little boy; they are friendly, fun and nothing is ever too much trouble. I love how much communication is offered to parents, via newsletters,
individual Tapestry accounts, parents evenings, workshops, emails and informal chats in the nursery. I was dreading having to leave my baby to go back to work full time, but Charley Barley's made the transition so easy and did everything they could to put my mind at ease, and my son now adores going to nursery! He is so busy every day and has just flourished under their care.

Charley Barley's is a beautiful setting with warm and friendly staff who do their upmost to keep children safe, stimulated, well fed and happy. The outdoor area offers lots of opportunity for play and our kids have been taken to local parks when the weather is nice.
The 'Tapestry' system ensures we
are kept up to date with what the children are doing. Feedback about the children's days is also informative.
Most importantly, my children love the nursery and look forward to going and have built positive relationships with staff members.
I would highly recommend.

My son settled quickly and easily into this nursery and has loved every moment since. There is a real family atmosphere and I know he is always well taken care of.
The setting is spacious, light and clean with plenty of room, and he loves playing in the garden at the back.
Staff are flexible and
interested, and he eats well too! I would recommend Charley Barley's to anyone considering it.

A wonderfully warm and caring environment where the children and staff are always happy and calm. I was anxious to leave my baby in the nursery when going back to work, but my little boy has thrived at Charley Barley's and clearly enjoys every minute of being there.

Words cannot describe how happy I am with my youngest son attending Charley Barley's. Having worked in a nursery for 10 years I struggled to find somewhere that I felt comfortable about leaving him.
He enjoys nursery and is always so happy when I leave him and in return, we are always welcomed in with
big smiles and the feedback is great at the end of his session.
I would highly recommend to any other parent looking for a home from home setting to have a look around.

All staff at Charley Barleys are delightful, they are cheerful from the moment you walk through the door in the morning which is welcoming and reassuring. I know my little boy feels safe and at ease at Charley Barleys, which leaves me happy knowing I couldn't have picked a better nursery for him. The
nursery is always clean, the children are always smiling. Charley Barley's always keep the parents well informed on things such as chicken pox etc but also on the child's development. The tapestry app is fantastic, I love being updated with pictures of my little boy throughout the day, seeing how much he is enjoying himself with his friends.

Our son has been at Charley Barley's Nursery for a few months now and we could not be happier. He is so excited every morning to go and names all his friends and staff that he is looking forward to seeing. His talking and learning has come on hugely and every day we're surprised with the new things
he has learnt.
All the staff have been so amazing. Really warm, friendly, welcoming and genuinely interested in my family and how my son is each day. Their care and hygiene standards are really high and the staff are very well experienced. We feel really lucky as a family to have found Charley Barley's as our son is so happy and settled. Such a lovely nursery which we recommend highly.

Charley Barley's is a fantastic nursery, my wife and I visited numerous nursery's in the area prior to choosing Charley Barley's and I genuinely feel there are none that come close. The staff are all lovely and really make it a home from home where I'm happy and confident to send my son each day.

My son attends three days a week and has settled in very well. The staff are extremely caring and have formed a great relationship with my son. This makes pick ups and drop offs a lot easier as there are no tears!


I was hesitant about putting my son into a nursery that had just opened but after

going to one of the open days I knew straight away it would be great and it was right for him.
