Charley Barley's Nursery

We have moved around quite a bit and have three children. This is by far the best nursery we have ever used. Caring staff with clear transparent communication. My child loves it and they build really good relationships between key workers and children. I feel like the staff really know my son, meet all his needs and make me feel less guilty at drop off!

I wouldn't think of trusting my children's development with anyone else.

I think the nursery is run very well the staff are nice and helpful and my child is very happy there.

From my first initial visit when I looked around the nursery to my little one starting there, the staff at the nursery have been amazing, they are friendly, approachable and go out of their way to help and assist where possible. On his first day, I was so anxious and worried he wouldn't settle and they sent me updates throughout the day, replied to my emails instantly which made me feel so much better and was lovely to see photos of my little one during the day, so I knew he was happy.

The staff are very friendly and the environment created in the nursery is vibrant and fun. After an extended settling in period my son seems to enjoy it.

Cannot recommend Charley Barleys enough. It’s the best! So happy my little boy is happy here :)

Charley Barleys gave me the confidence and support I needed to leave my child incapable, qualified hands whilst I go to work and equally provides a happy, exciting and safe place for my child to learn and play. My child has developed amazing relationships not only with the other children she interacts with but also with her handlers that take care of her. From a nursery I was looking for somewhere that would meet my needs and accommodate me and my child, in terms of care, cleanliness and security for a happy child and a happy parent, Charley Barleys provided this and more!

Charley Barley's is a wonderful nursery and our little boy is so happy there. He talks with affection about all of the staff, and is always very happy to arrive and stroll in! He really loves animals and recently the nursery got some guinea pigs - partly inspired by his love for them - which shows how much they care about the children. My son has some learning difficulties, and the staff at Charley Barley's have been brilliant at encouraging his development through focused activities and group play, as well as working with the BHISS worker assigned to him. He has lots of lovely friends there and the vibe, in general, is very positive. We are very grateful to Charley Barley's for their dedicated care of our boy.

p.s I would also like the in-house cook to move in with us as my son has apparently been requesting 3 x helpings of her food...

My daughter just loves it. She is always happy to go to Charley Barley's and is always happy when I pick her up. Basically, I could have just put that last sentence as my review and left out all the rest, as that’s what’s the most important thing!

Charley Barley’s is an excellent nursery, with a wonderful team of committed staff. Our son is very happy there and is doing really well.

The staff at Charlie Barley's are first rate and have made the Nursery a second home for my son for more than 2 years. The management are conscientious and passionate about what they do. It's a great environment for little ones.

As my son is quite clingy it really puts my mind at rest that everyone is so kind. It has a wonderful family feel. So far I’m very pleased with my choice in Charley Barley's.

This nursery is exceptional. From the day we visited the nursery to now, we have been so happy to send our boy to Charley Barley's. The staff clearly show a great deal of care and are all so proactive in helping him develop, learn, join in, and at the same time, put their hearts into their work. The team is consistent and committed and the environment is bright and vibrant, peaceful and a place of real happiness.

Despite my child's anxious nature in new environments, he settled so quickly and really warmed to the staff there. He often starts recounting the names of staff and his friends at nursery. When we ask him where he's going today, he cheers 'nursery!!' (even if it's not). Our son attends 3 mornings per week at Charley Barley's and he is always so happy walking through the front gate.

His speech and his social and physical development, have shown significant improvement (despite some delays) and I have no doubt that this has been helped by his environment at nursery.

Our son loves going to Charley Barley's. The staff are always very welcoming and do a great job of organising fun activities for the children and keeping parents updated with what they've been up to. Everyone is very friendly and I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a fun and supportive environment to introduce their child to.

Charley Barley's goes above and beyond to deliver the highest standard of childcare. My daughter cannot wait to go every week and has made friends there she now sees out of nursery too. The staff are so committed, caring and above all, friendly.

This truly is home away from home. Amazing staff, professional care. Great communication which helps me as a parent to monitor my daughter development. Highly recommended nursery!

Charley Barley's Nursery really is a home from home for my daughter who absolutely loves her time there! The management and staff have always been expectational and always go above and beyond and it is clear to see that they really care about all the children. The nursery has always been very flexible and extremely accommodating and I feel very happy that my daughter is receiving such excellent care and that I can be safe in the knowledge that her time spent at Charley Barley's Nursery is really benefiting her on all social and educational levels. People often comment on my daughter and her ability to converse and her understanding of the world around her and I really must share credit with Charley Barley's Nursery and as a direct result of her time there my daughter is really developing into a wonderful, inquisitive, happy and bright little girl. I have two children of different ages who are very happy here. The staff know each and every child. It's a fun, creative, nurturing space that inspires my children. Whilst they may not have the biggest garden, they utilise it well and they do lots of trips around the local area. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you Charley Barley.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Charley Barley’s is. Amazing staff who are polite and so knowledgeable about all the children they look after. What I really like is that everyone in the nursery (regardless of which room they are in) knows every child and says hello every morning and goodbye every evening. The staff really take the time to discuss a child’s activities and development at end of every day. Ever since my daughter has attended Charley Barley’s she has developed leaps and bounds in terms of her interaction, communication, eating, walking and social skills and she enjoys going so much every day. I’m really looking forward to her developing and making more friends here at this wonderful nursery for the next couple of years. Thank you so much!
