My daughter has attended Charley Barley's for the past year and is so happy and settled. The staff have been exceptional at understanding her quirks, strengths and areas for focus (to prepare her for school/help her get the most from the nursery experience), communicating suggestions with me then working
on them with her each week. Staff are friendly, caring, welcoming and always have a smile and a story to share at pick up. She loves the food there (prepared by a chef on site), and nothing I make at home compares! Other highlights include weekly yoga classes and some really special friendships she's made (which was a specific area of encouragement and focus). They are also flexible regarding helping with ad-hoc extra days where needed, which is invaluable. I have seen real benefits in her education, behaviour and general happiness since joining, which is absolutely wonderful to see as a parent.

My son has been coming to Charley Barley's since he was five months old and continues to be very happy and confident, which is a testament to all the staff from the nursery. His learning and communication skills have improved month after month and has now started talking to a really good level. The
staff are all very friendly and consistent on handover with how the day has gone. We have used a few other nurseries, but Charley Barley's has given us the greatest experience for being friendly, supportive and developing for our son.

After viewing a few local nurseries beforehand, we instantly knew that Charley Barley's was the one for our 1-year-old. The staff are so caring and lovely, the policies and guidelines are clear, and he just loved going in. He was settled right away, and they communicated well about his day via an app
and on pick-up. They do some outings and play in the garden every day and do organised activities as well as free play. He made a little gang of friends there and knew the staff names too. The management seems incredibly good (answering emails, low staff turnover, etc), and I cannot fault this place. Sadly, we moved away but would have kept him there up to school age if we could.

Everyone at Charley Barley's is excellent! Our daughter was quite a shy nervous child, and she absolutely loved it there. They go on little adventures, singing and dancing around the place and always think up new ways to entertain and develop.

My son has attended Charley Barley's Nursery for a couple of months now, since he was 9.5 months, and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. Before he started I was worried he was a bit behind developmentally but since starting at Charley Barley's, he has improved dramatically, particularly
with his physical development. The room staff are extremely supportive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about each child and they provide lots of updates throughout the day about how my baby is doing, which is lovely to see when you have to be working! They really take the time to get to know the children and cater to their individual needs as much as they can. The owners also are very friendly and approachable and are always open for a chat about how my son is doing. They could definitely be forgiven for not knowing about every single child in the nursery but they also take time to know everyone to ensure all children are getting the best possible care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our son has attended Charley Barley's Nursery from the age of 1 and has had superb care to this date. He attends full-time and the nursery offers exceptional value for fees as it includes meals, nappies and suncream. The staff are warm, friendly and offer exceptional support to our son; he really enjoys
nursery life. He has progressed so well due to their focus and interest in all of the children - they always seem to be doing something interesting every day - trips, visits to the library, the post office, local parks and playgrounds, regular yoga sessions and too many more occasions to count! If we need advice or guidance as a parent, the staff are very open and extremely supportive to offer help or support where they can. The nursery has excellent communication with parents via emails and photos/videos through the app (which is updated very regularly). We are very happy with our choice of Charley Barley's as our nursery and couldn't recommend the nursery more highly.

Our son started at Charley Barley's Nursery nearly a year ago and he has been going from strength to strength since then. After looking at multiple nurseries we knew Charley Barley's was the one due to its home-from-home feel. The smaller class sizes made it feel more like a family which we knew would
suit our son over a bigger setting. All the staff are wonderful and work so closely with the children, I really feel they are nurtured and encouraged here, building confidence to communicate and try new things. Our son's progress has been a joy.

I couldn't speak more highly of our experience with Charley Barley's Nursery. For our children, it feels like a home-from-home - they adore their nursery workers and talk of them fondly. For us, as parents, we trust them implicitly - our daughter has medical needs which the nursery manages beautifully.
They are responsive to concerns, they plan activities thoughtfully and my children are excited to attend. I couldn't ask for more!

Our little one has been going to Charley Barley's Nursery for around nine months now and we couldn't be happier with the team and the nursery as a whole.
Our child is clearly thriving at Charley Barley's and every time we go to pick her up she is having a great time. The staff are attentive and friendly
and the feedback and updates we get are great. We've had informative 'parents' evenings' where we've been able to chat face-to-face with the staff and get nice updates on how our child is doing.
Every time we go to pick our daughter up, all the staff, no matter which room they're in, know her name and say goodbye. The staff have also been great every time we've had a query and are always happy and willing to help.
Overall, we couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Charley Barley's to other parents!

When my little girl first started she was so unsettled and struggled adjusting, the girls that work there go above and beyond to make sure she’s happy. She now thrives going in and can’t wait to tell me about her day when she gets home! They always give a full detailed handover at the end of the day.

My daughter left Charley Barley's 4 years ago and it was the most positive and wonderful experience, so when we looked at nurseries for our son, Charley Barley's was our number one choice!
There is something really special about Charley Barley's and the little things they do set them apart. The warm
and welcoming environment, the learning opportunities, trips to the local area, the daily feedback, the app observations, family picnics in the summer, regular parents evenings and the support they give during big life changes outside of nursery but most of all its the passionate and caring members of staff that make this nursery stand out.
My son has been cared for, encouraged and nurtured since his first day, he has grown in confidence and tells me he loves his Barley's days!

Both my children have gone to Charley Barley’s and I honestly couldn’t fault them. The best team who have cared for my kids like their own, always a happy face to welcome them and encourage them. Loads of development ideas for them, trips and play in the garden. Will be so sad when they no longer go

A fantastic nursery with great care and communication. My boy started at nine months and settled straight away, he's now been attending for five months, and we couldn't be happier. We get good updates on the app, and find the care diary very useful to know how his naps and eating has be throughout the
day. The managers are always present and communicate well with any changes or general goings on in the nursery. All the staff, not just his key workers, know my son by name and greet and say goodbye at the end of the day, which is really lovely. While the garden isn't massive, they seem to work it well, so he gets lots of time outdoors, and where possible, they take them on trips to the park nearby.

I have sent both of my children to Charley Barley's Nursery from the age of 1 through to and including pre-school and I love it there.
The nursery has always been flexible and supportive with myself, as a parent, but more importantly, my children have always been so happy. All the staff over the years
have been kind, loving, nurturing and looked after my children with true care, I could not have chosen a better setting and I thank them all for looking after what’s so precious to me as I would myself.
Charley Barley's is constantly coming up with new ideas and ways to keep the little ones entertained and learning as well as sending home ideas for us parents to do the same! A great nursery full of great people...thank you!

Charley Barley's Nursery is an amazing nursery filled with fantastic staff. They go above and beyond in every sense. Their programming is creative, fun and filled with developmental benefits. They communicate well with parents and are very accommodating of any needs specific to your child. We moved
to the area during COVID and selected Charley Barley's online without even visiting, so it definitely felt like we were taking a big gamble... But we truly won the lottery and have been so happy with our decision that we often pinch ourselves. I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering a nursery in the area.

Extremely welcoming environment for parents and children alike. My son loves going to nursery.
