Charley Barley's Nursery

My experience has been wonderful from the very first viewing, the settles were beautifully planned and my little one has settled quickly thanks to the lovely staff, everyone is kind and easy going , we get many updates during the day and I feel at ease when I leave her at nursery. i can't recommend enough!

A warm and caring nursery with great and attentive staff. They have been great in welcoming my little one and making him part of the pre school group. He is always keen to head in and have fun with all his buddies.

Our 3-year-old son is very happy to go to Charley Barley's nursery. His transition was smooth thanks to the very kind, loving and full of understanding staff in this nursery. One of the strongest points of this nursery is the behavioural management. The staff don't let a child crying on her/his own, instead they will help him/her get over it and re-direct into an activity. One of the co-owners frequently visits and manages the nursery so she has a first-hand view of what happens there.

We love Charlie Barley's Nursery! It's been great for our daughter since she started last year, and she's made lots of really good friends there. The staff are all super-friendly and professional; they put loads of effort into doing lots of different activities. The food is all cooked fresh and varies a lot from day to day. Our daughter also gets plenty of outside time to run around. Can't recommend the place enough!

We love Charley Barley's Nursery and are so thankful we chose this nursery for our daughter. Since she started as a baby, the staff have been really attentive to her needs, and as a result she's had such a positive experience of nursery. She's now in the preschool room, where she continues to learn and thrive, thanks to the fantastic staff. Communication from management/staff has always been excellent, and there's a real sense that they're invested in your child and their individual needs. Our son is about to start, and I have complete confidence that the staff will do all they can to help him adjust and enjoy his time at nursery. We'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

We have been utterly delighted by Charley Barley's Nursery and couldn't imagine our son going anywhere else. He has additional needs and they've adapted to what he needs in himself and special furniture to help him thrive, and have been flexible on their policies to support. They are so friendly and celebrate every baby. Their activities, food and naps feel personal to baby's needs. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Excellent nursery. The staff is lovely and our kid loves it. I find the team to be very supportive, creative and empathetic. I also love seeing pictures of the kids playing together or going for a forest walk.

The start are attentive and I cannot fault anything about the nursery, my son has the best time there. The activities and food are absolutely fantastic.

My son loves going to Charley Barley's Nursery. The staff are amazing, kind, supportive and a major reason why he's happy in life. I can't thank them enough for all they do and their support of his current wooden/plastic fruit addiction is very much appreciated!

My son has been with Charley Barley's Nursery since he was 9 months old (he's now 3 and a half). The care and developmental support he's received as he's transitioned through the stages has been first rate. He's always happy going into nursery and comes home, having done a day of activities in a safe, nurturing environment. Feedback and communication is great, the food is healthy and appealing to the children. I can't recommend Charley Barley's enough

We are so happy with Charley Barley's and could not recommend it enough. Our daughter settled in so quickly and has been very happy there. She loves the pet guinea pigs, the morning yoga sessions, playing with her friends and the outings they do. The staff are wonderful, and regular parents' evenings mean we get a chance to check in and hear how she’s doing. We’re planning to send our son when he’s older too.

Both my children have loved going there and I feel happy that they are being so well looked after, educated and entertained.

The staff at the nursery are always so cheerful and helpful with any questions we have.

Charley Barley's Nursery is wonderful. All staff are friendly and attentive to the children. They have a variety of activities each day, the quality of the food is excellent and the care they show to the children is outstanding. The staff communicate effectively about how our child is getting along which is always reassuring. Our toddler loves going to nursery and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

Everyone at Charley Barley's is super friendly. I love that everyone knows everyone. Small but full of the care that’s needed.

I feel very confident and comfortable leaving my child in the safe hands of Charley Barley's Nursery and its staff. Since the moment my child started, he was immediately settled and made to feel welcome. It’s a very balanced and diverse nursery; they always keep parents very well updated, and after every session, we’re given a thorough outlook on their day. I especially like that my child is not only given a lot of activities to do within the nursery setting, which expands his skills but also give them the opportunity to be taken out to enjoy experiences outside the nursery as well. The nursery never puts pressure on the children to excel but encourages them as much as they can so they are confidently ready to start school. I also appreciate the support they provide parents with their children and also when we’re at home.

Nursery and every person in this nursery is amazing; they have done so much for me and my children! Just amazing! My child has got so much better and understanding more since being at Charlie Barley's.

Charley Barley’s is an amazing nursery. There is a lovely, homely feel to it. All the staff know my child by name and welcome him with warmth and genuine care. His team of staff, and particularly his key workers, have been amazing. He loves going to nursery and does lots of fun and educational activities. His favourite thing to do is talk to the guinea pigs in the garden! My son has a number of special requirements, but the nursery staff have been amazing and have been 100% committed to ensuring he has the same experience as all other children. They have been really helpful in dealing with some complex issues and are always going above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Really love Charley Barley's and all the staff who care for the children. They truly care about my child, his happiness, well-being and development. Would not hesitate to recommend the nursery. Excellent communication and the management team are outstanding - love the fact they are independent.
