Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup

Wouldn’t recommend. I never got an email back from the manager letting her know that my child is leaving the nursery. I think it’s really bad as you're paying a lot for your child to go there. Never the same key worker picking your child up from the door. Need to work on customer service skills, especially on the phone, they just don’t seem interested.

Both my children have and are attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup and I'm pleased to see that the standards of the nursery haven't slipped since they year they opened, if anything the nursery has gone from strength to strength. I'm particularly impressed with how they have managed processes and childcare during the pandemic and communication with parents throughout. I've always been able to speak to the relevant person when I've needed to, offered and received feedback willingly and the management team and staff are quick to respond to suggestions and improvements. I've seen my child thrive and develop wonderfully at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup. I believe they have done a great job in creating an awesome learning environment for my children.

Great nursery with great staff. A couple of minor things that in my view should be looked into which have been raised and that I know will be addressed, but honestly, you ladies are doing an amazing job with our kids. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Both my children attend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup, one in Darwin & one in The Baby Room. I am very happy with how our children have been looked after. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the lengths they go to to set up themes and activities in the rooms is lovely to see. So far this year, both children have watched ducklings and butterflies hatch, met budgies, my eldest has attended Forest school which she loved and she can now count confidently to ten and has started to trace numbers with her finger when reading. My eldest now talks about her friends at home and it's great to receive picture and video updates on the app, so I can see what fun she is having. The staff were really supportive with potty training and have helped her prepare for entering the preschool year, she can now put on her own coat and shoes too. She once had a febrile seizure at nursery, something I’d not had experience of before and the staff handled the situation well, making sure she was okay and calling an ambulance for her.

We are extremely happy to have sent our little boy to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup. They have wonderful staff and they understand the child’s needs. I only wish the baby section was a little bit bigger, however they compensate this by the lovely gardens that they have.

I have two girls at this nursery, one in preschool and one in the baby room. Both children absolutely love it and go in excited to see their friends and key workers. The nursery teach them a lot, especially the preschool class. My four year old daughter’s writing is really coming on, as is her phonics and she doesn’t start school for another six months. The owners are very family first and have been absolutely great throughout Covid-19. I’d thoroughly recommend this nursery.

I can highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Sidcup. The staff are fantastic, they provide the perfect balance of free play with educational play. It’s been fantastic to watch my son develop over the past year and a half - at 3 and a half years he’s brilliant at numbers and starting to do well with his phonics, which is a credit to the nursery. He has bonded so well with all staff and thoroughly enjoys going to pre-school. Additionally the management are really engaged and committed to creating the best environment and experience for children and parents. They have also handled the challenges of Covid with such professionalism. My son attended another local nursery from 7 months to 1 and a half years and switching nurseries was the best decision - I couldn’t be happier.

My four-year-old and one-year-old twins attend this nursery and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The management team and all the staff are fantastic - really friendly, knowledgable and they obviously care a great deal for the children. My sons have developed brilliantly since being at Monkey Puzzle. My oldest started when he was 11 months old, and is now more than ready for school. They’ve given him a brilliant start in life, and I’m so pleased we chose to send our children there.

My son has been coming to the nursery since he was 10 months old (he is now almost 3). We couldn’t be happier with how well he has developed and been looked after there. All staff are fantastic and always friendly, my son is happy to go each day. We have been really impressed with how amazing the nursery have been through the covid crisis. The communication is excellent, the team regularly go the extra mile and you know the children are their priority.

The staff are great, very caring with the children.

All I can say is that I hugely regret not moving my son to this nursery earlier...

My son has been at Monkey Puzzle Sidcup for three days a week since he was nine months old and will be there till September 2020. My son loves going to the nursery and has bonded well with staff and I am sure he will miss them when he starts Primary School as they have been such a big part of his life over the years.

We’re really pleased we chose it.

Our daughter really enjoys her time there and has formed a close bond with her key worker. Each day seems really well structured and they have a huge variety of activities they undertake. We already have our son on the waiting list, which reflects how pleased we are with the nursery.

Overall we are very happy with this nursery. The staff are always happy, pleasant, polite and very welcoming each morning. We are very pleased with his progress and development. Recently his learning and speech have really transformed. The nursery app is brilliant, I love being able to receive pictures of what my son has been doing during his day, it’s very comforting and reassuring to actually see he is ok and enjoying himself.

We are so pleased that our daughter will be joining the nursery in September.

Very happy with this nursery. Found my child quite happily playing along with all the other kids and happy with how the staff looked after her. I was also impressed with the activities the children partook in. A visit to the natural history museum, football lessons every week and visiting the library once a week too. My experience of this nursery was fantastic.
