Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery

Our 2.5 year old daughter has been attending Clerkenwell Mount for over a year. She loves going to nursery and runs in every morning, excited to see the staff, who are so kind and clearly care about the children. The nursery always arranges an amazing range of activities, including games in the garden and crafts and singing, all of which we get photos and comments on via the app. I also really like the food that is provided a great variety meaning my daughter eats better than me most days! The staff have all been so considerate and helpful over the lockdown. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone looking.

My two kids have been attending Clerkenwell Mount nursery, where we started in 2015, and where we've been since then! My daughter started when she was 7 months old, and she then spent four wonderful years at the nursery. When she left for school, she was fully ready to start her new adventure in reception thanks to the amazing nursery staff who prepared kids very efficiently for school. My daughter is now thriving at school and I have no doubt that her two pre-school years at the nursery helped her grow in confidence. She's been particularly well prepared for phonics, writing, and maths, in which she developed strong skills. My 3 years old son has been attending the nursery for three years now. He loves it and he talks more and more of all the things he learns at the nursery every day, and we're amazed to discover how much he knows already! Clerkenwell Mount nursery is a very safe and warm environment for our kids to grow and develop their curiosity and creativity.

My two sons (currently 1 and 3 years old) have been attending Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery since they were 6 months old and we have had an excellent experience for both of them. The staff are lovely and caring: my two sons are really happy to go to nursery in the morning and have developed great connections with the staff. We have also been really happy with the activities proposed to the children (from the baby room to pre-school room), tracking of development and homely atmosphere. In addition, the management team are really accommodating, which has been really helpful over the years. Highly recommended!

My son has been attending Clerkenwell Mount Nursery since 1 year of age (now 3) and we only have great things to say about the nursery and the care he has been given there. The nursery offers a community feel, given the scale and each child receives close attention from the caregivers and allows for close bonds to be formed with the other children. They have always been responsive to our needs (sometimes changing) and very accommodating. And what’s been most important, is that our son has always been happy and excited to go in every day.

- Food and chef are fabulous! Pastistio, jollof rice, boeuf bourguignon, chow mein, where all is devoured daily.

My wife and I have been extremely happy with the level of care our child received. He had a very good progress in learning, enjoyed the activities, and was always very keen to attend. Big thanks to the nursery team.

We’re so happy to have chosen Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery for our son. He adjusted quickly with the support of the team. Our son has gone from strength to strength walking, taking and developing into a well-rounded little boy. The daily activities the nursery organises is tremendous with daily updates through the app offering us insight into his progress and development.

We have had the most wonderful week settling in our 1 year old daughter. All staff have been kind, caring and attentive to both her and us. Starting a nursery, being away from your child is very difficult at first - especially with Covid restrictions. Yet, everyone at Clerkenwell Mount have done their very best to ensure the process was smooth and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents. Thank you.

A fantastic nursery, the staff are very professional and caring. Our daughter attended the nursery's toddler and preschool and the we have been happy with the on-boarding transition and the on-going care and teaching throughout. The management team has a very hands-on approach and have been a great communicator during the pandemic. The nursery has good facilities compared to other service providers in the area and the inner courtyard allows for play in the fresh air. Would wholeheartedly recommend the place.

All staff at the nursery have been so kind and helpful to us as a family, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, particularly when my daughter first started (during the pandemic) and logistics where challenging. My daughter is naturally cautious of new places but has adapted so well to her first nursery. The daily updates always make me smile and I always feel I can trust the staff to look after her, encourage her and give me honest feedback on her day. We will miss the team greatly. Thank you!

We received excellent care for our 2YO daughter at Clerkenwell Mount Nursery. The staff are excellent and really make the nursery part of the local community. We loved the family feel and the open diversity of the nursery. We found it flexible to our childcare needs, communicative and responsive. We were sad to have to leave the nursery due to the changing situation with COVID-19.

I have been so impressed by every aspect of Clerkenwell Mount nursery. The staff quickly got to know my children and have provided outstanding care and a exceptional learning environment. My children are always enthusiastic to attend and have fantastic bonds with their key workers. I can see the positive impact on their development. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

Clerkenwell Mount Nursery is a very warm, welcoming and family-like place for children which to us has been the main reason for choosing this nursery. We got the impression that our son would be taken well care of right from the start. He needed some time to get comfortable as English is not his first language but everybody at the nursery really did their best to help him along in that process and to attend his individual needs. We would most definitely recommend Clerkenwell Mount Nursery.

The best thing about Clerkenwell Mount Nursery is the care and attention the children are given. Every staff member we've encountered is kind and nurturing. It's a joy to see my daughter's smiling face at the drop of and pick up times. The range of play and activities is ideal for super curious little ones, and the photo's and notes we can access through the portal App means we can see what she's learning each day. The nursery is reasonably priced too.

My daughter has been attending Clerkenwell Mount Nursery for 18 months. It's a really nice nursery and the staff and management been very supportive right from the start. Communication and updates from staff helped us a lot to get comfortable. We always felt our daughter was in good hands and there was not one day where she didn't want to go to the nursery. The food options, especially also those for vegetarians have been great with good variety. Our little one especially enjoyed the activities at the nursery including messy play, the garden, painting, music etc. Overall we can highly recommend the nursery to anyone in the area looking for a reliable and warm (family-like) place for their little ones.

I really like that it is a smaller nursery that clearly places a lot of care and thought into every day to create a positive experience for the children and parents. I would definitely recommend it!

Since COVID, the precautions put in place have been very thorough and we are confident of everybody’s safety. My son really missed his friends over lockdown and is super happy to be back.

Our son also absolutely loves his key worker and is always very excited to see her every day, which is very reassuring for us as parents too.

Clerkenwell Mount is a wonderful nursery. My daughter has attended for three years and my son for over six months. They enjoy the nursery so much and look forward to attending every day. The staff are incredibly caring and my kids have developed very strong relationships with them. Both children do a range of activities every day which really stimulate them and help them develop. There is a friendly, very safe-feeling environment, and whilst the building isn’t that big, it has a cosy feel and the kids always seem very well entertained, particularly by the activities which take place in the small garden. The children eat very well and my son sleeps very well for nap time too. I have been particularly impressed with the reporting back recently via the app, as I can see photos every day of what the kids have been doing, and can see exactly what they’ve eaten, and how long they’ve slept, etc. The manager is lovely and very helpful, and you can tell she really cares for the kids.
