My Sunshine Day Nursery & Pre-School is a family operated Nursery which opened its first setting in Mortlake (SW14) in January 2018 and offering Nursery & Pre-School places for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

My Sunshine Mortlake operates across 2 floors with the Baby and Toddler rooms on the ground floor and the Pre-School room on the first floor. The Baby Room also has a separate Cot / Sleep Room. The nursery provides nurturing spaces where all children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, and develop through play.

Led by the nursery manager, My Sunshine Mortlake’s team of practitioners are passionate about early years childcare and work day-to-day to support each child to reach its full potential. The team also provides support with your child’s physical, emotional and social development and wellbeing.

Located 5 minutes from both Mortlake train station and Mortlake Green, My Sunshine is a focal point for local families. In addition to using the nursery outdoor garden on a daily basis, the children make regular visits to Mortlake Green where they enjoy exciting nature explorations and fun play.

Nutritious meals are prepared fresh on a daily basis by the in-house Chef, who operates on a rolling 4 week menu covering breakfast, lunch, tea and morning and afternoon snacks.

Extra-curricular activities include Sporty Minis (PE), Hartbeeps and language lessons for all room settings.

My Sunshine Mortlake has a GOOD Ofsted rating (June 2022) and a 5 Star Hygiene Rating (April 2025).

I came across My Sunshine walking past. I went in to enquire, met the nursery manager and had a really lovely conversation with her. She's the first nursery manager I'd met who was genuinely passionate about her business. She shared all her plans and ambitions for the nursery which she'd recently taken
over. I walked away knowing she was the right person to be doing this, impressed by her motivation and desire to create a fantastic experience. She's made this a great nursery. All the plans she had at the beginning have been rolled out. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The communication is impressive - online portal where photos/newsletter/activities are posted. A welcoming and approachable place with quick responses to questions makes it all easy. I'd definitely recommend this nursery over any other ones in the area. It supersedes all of them in terms of the staff, the equipment, the variety and the communication. Thank you My Sunshine - you are the best secret! Happy baby who's loved it!

Both my sons love My Sunshine Nursery. They are really engaged, have a fantastic time and learn loads. They always talk about what they've done, and the good communication between nursery and parents means that we get a great understanding of what they've been up to.


I would thoroughly recommend

the nursery. The staff are amazing and really care.


The boys always ask when they're next going!

My daughter absolutely loved going to nursery, the staff were amazing and built up a good relationship with my daughter.
The three days she attended nursery, they did a lot: art, music, baking, small world play, role play, the list goes on.
Would definitely recommend this nursery to whoever is looking
for a nursery to send their child.
Staff encouraged independence and kept a daily log of all that my daughter had done during her time, so I was able to see and talk to her about it when I got home from work.


We started at the nursery as it had just changed management and the change in the building/rooms/ outdoor space was incredible. They had changed everything to suit the needs of the different age groups they cater to, babies, toddlers and preschool.

My daughter spent 3 years in the nursery and I have not regretted it at all, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made, she is a very confident young girl and very intelligent and that's because My Sunshine Day Nursery & Pre-School go the extra mile to teach the children in their care. They
also have a very dedicated team working with the kids.


My daughter loved every minute of being in the nursery and would miss the place so much, but its now time for her to start reception this September.

Our daughter is very happy at the nursery, she loves her teachers and the teachers are very approachable for parents. I like that she is always busy experiencing various fun activities while at My Sunshine’s.

My child loves going to the nursery. She speaks about the staff all the time at home. We really love the Famly platform which allows me to keep up to date about my child throughout my working day which puts me at ease.

My son started attending Kids@Mortlake Nursery in September 2017 and he loved every minute he spent there. Nursing staff are very caring and friendly. The nursery offers a great catering service with various healthy foods and snacks. My son has been having fun painting and learning in many different
ways. I would highly recommend this nursery.
