My Sunshine Day Nursery & Pre-School is a family operated Nursery which opened its first setting in Mortlake (SW14) in January 2018 and offering Nursery & Pre-School places for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

My Sunshine Mortlake operates across 2 floors with the Baby and Toddler rooms on the ground floor and the Pre-School room on the first floor. The Baby Room also has a separate Cot / Sleep Room. The nursery provides nurturing spaces where all children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, and develop through play.

Led by the nursery manager, My Sunshine Mortlake’s team of practitioners are passionate about early years childcare and work day-to-day to support each child to reach its full potential. The team also provides support with your child’s physical, emotional and social development and wellbeing.

Located 5 minutes from both Mortlake train station and Mortlake Green, My Sunshine is a focal point for local families. In addition to using the nursery outdoor garden on a daily basis, the children make regular visits to Mortlake Green where they enjoy exciting nature explorations and fun play.

Nutritious meals are prepared fresh on a daily basis by the in-house Chef, who operates on a rolling 4 week menu covering breakfast, lunch, tea and morning and afternoon snacks.

Extra-curricular activities include Sporty Minis (PE), Hartbeeps and language lessons for all room settings.

My Sunshine Mortlake has a GOOD Ofsted rating (June 2022) and a 5 Star Hygiene Rating (April 2025).

My child has attended My Sunshine for over one year in the Baby and Toddler rooms. My child loves it there, eats very well (but is very picky at home) and has lots of fun as shown by the twice-daily reports I receive. Staff are amazing and very nurturing. They are also very responsive with requests
and messages sent during the day.

Our child has been attending My Sunshine Day Nursery for over a year now. We are extremely happy with the care which he receives from the team, as well as the relationships formed between staff and children. Our child comes home happy, smiley and chirpy every day he attends. It is a pleasure to deal
with My Sunshine Day Nursery and they cannot do enough to ensure the wellbeing of all the children who attend. It's lovely to see the friendships forming between all the children and this is a result of the manager and her team creating a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for all to thrive in.

I cannot recommend the manager and her lovely team highly enough. They are always available to answer any queries or concerns you have about your child in a nurturing and caring manner. The App works seamlessly to ensure you are always in touch with each other and know what your children are up to.
They take the time to get to know each individual child and parent and it really feels like one big family. My boys are so happy with the team and I trust them implicitly. They always go above and beyond in ensuring that everyone is happy, healthy and thriving.

We've been meaning to submit a review for My Sunshine Day Nursery; the manager and her team for some time. Our daughter has just turned two and has been going to the nursery starting at three days a week in the baby room from 11 months old and going up to five days as my hours at work have increased.
With no family nearby and both my husband and I having busy jobs, we really could not be happier with our daughter's safety, health and development in the hands of the staff at My Sunshine five days a week. She loves the activities - Hartbeebs, French lessons and recently tennis lessons mean she is getting so much exposure to a wide range of everything and her language and communication skills are fast developing. She also has strong bonds with key workers and fellow playmates. We love the app, so we can always track her daily development and activities through pictures and feedback from staff. Keep it up team! It's worth the longer walk to nursery most days than other local nurseries in our area.

Absolutely delighted with My Sunshine Nursery. Our daughter (aged three) is very happy there. I love the way that additional resources are brought in to add variety to the days e.g. heartbeeps and gym classes in the park, also regular visits to the nursing home. There is a lovely structure to the day
and there are lots of activities/themes to keep the children occupied. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They provide useful information at the end of each day. The app is also very informative. I would definitely recommend My Sunshine Nursery.

The manager and her team create a wonderful environment for little ones to spend time in. My son loves going to nursery and was able to bond with all the staff.
Going back to work was made so much easier by knowing how happy and how well cared for my little one was at My Sunshine.

My son started nursery in September and he and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend it. Not only are the staff highly competent and caring but the provision is excellent and the curriculum enhancement is really impressive: outside sports coaching, weekly drama, French, visits from interesting people
and agencies, visits to the local elderly care home and regular visits to the library. It is very well run by the owner and communication is excellent.

My Sunshine Day Nursery is truly excellent, from staff to facilities, it is a fun and friendly environment and my son loved it from day one. The activities organised for the children are great and every day is different. The updates on the app are really detailed, there are details on everything from
the food eaten to what they did in the day together with some lovely pictures, which is really lovely. The staff are really amazing and we couldn’t praise them more. Our son loves going there every morning, we know he is well looked after and happy while we’re at work. Thank you!

We have moved our daughter into My Sunshine Day Nursery & Pre-School Mortlake full-time after initially just having a day a week there as her other nursery couldn’t accommodate the extra time.
The staff are wonderful and highly qualified, the environment is so positive with endless activities and
excursions and our daughter looks forward to going every day.
A special mention for the food as well, she clears her plate every day and loves trying new things now!
Can’t recommend My Sunshine Day Nursery highly enough!

I could not be happier with the level of care that my son receives at My Sunshine Day Nursery, Mortlake. All the staff are caring and there is a wide range of activities to keep the children entertained and to continually develop them. A lovely environment, healthy and varied food and continual updates
via an app so that we can see how the day is progressing. Would recommend this nursery with no hesitation.

Our four-year-old has been here for four months, as a family, we are really happy.


They always welcome her with a big smile. Her room leader is always there and is really flexible and friendly. This has been key to my daughter’s ability to adapt quickly.


We receive a very detailed report from

the room leader in person on collection. There are two more weekly reports (one from her teacher, one from the manager) through the app by the end of the week. We receive the nursery report by the end of the month. All together this makes communication so effective.


The activities are very varied, on her three full days she gets a visit to a retirement home (which she loves), French lessons, singing sessions with an external company plus the usual nursery activities such as visiting the local playground. One of our favourite activities as a family is choosing the ‘show and tell’ objects for the letters of the week.


The facilities are great and the food is yummy and healthy!

My son joined My Sunshine since the very beginning (he was already there before this manager took over the business) what can I say? My little boy absolutely loves this nursery and all staff so do we. The staff and management are amazing very approachable and professional. We trust them 100% and we
know that he will be looked after. The communication between staff and parents is great I love the app so I can see what they did during the day. I witnessed all transformations the nursery went through and all I can say that it's been done to a very high standard by someone whose passion is to look after the children from new furniture to a new management and owners. I highly recommend My Sunshine to every parent who wants a quality childcare.

Amazing! We could not be happier!
This nursery is so good, from the first initial chat and show around with the owner to our little boys first day and development thereafter. The staff and particularly our son's key worker are brilliant. Really caring and passionate and genuinely care about the children
in such a nice way.
I love the fact the nursery is owned and managed by the same person, you can tell she loves what she does and this really does make a difference. It's doesn't just feel like a process like most of the others we looked into.
Cannot recommend the nursery enough!

FANTASTIC nursery! My daughter started here at ten months old and she has settled in very well thanks to the brilliant team at My Sunshine Day Nursery. She has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of months as a result of the individual attention and the group stimulation she receives
at nursery. The staff are absolutely brilliant - professional, caring, engaging and very energetic. I could not have asked for a better nursery, and I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter is 13 months and is in the baby room. She has been there for 2 months.


We could not be happier with the nursery and the team. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter there 4 long days a week. All of the staff are so lovely and caring. There is a real sense of stability within the

team. The owner really knows what she is doing.


My daughter absolutely loves her key worker, and it seems to be very much reciprocated. They have a lovely bond!


My daughter is happy to be dropped off in the morning and in the evening she does not seem to want to leave sometimes! The nursery has made going back to work so much easier!


The App the nursery uses as a communication tool is fantastic! You can check how much sleep your little one has had and whether they have eaten well during the day. The photos of what they have been up to are really something to look forward to during the working day.


I cannot rate the nursery highly enough. I am so grateful we found it!

My daughter is very happy at My Sunshine Day Nursery. All of the staff are welcoming and are committed to caring for the children. There are a wide range of activities each week and the nursery are very good at celebrating different cultures. The facilities have been refurbished to a high standard and

I am absolutely thrilled with My Sunshine nursery. The nursery manager and her team are simply amazing with my daughter and are so lovely when I have questions or advice.
My daughter moved from Babies to Toddlers with no problems and is thriving and happy.
I visited a number of local nurseries but
as soon as I walked into My Sunshine, I knew it was the one for us! The indoor and outdoor space is fantastic and the nursery manager and her team are friendly and very professional. They are so efficient with the Famly APP and update it all the time with meals, activities and photos. I trust them 100% with my daughter which makes my working day much easier.
I know my daughter is safe and happy which makes me feel happy too!
I’ve already recommended My Sunshine to my local friends, you should definitely meet the nursery manager and the assistant manager if you’re trying to find a nursery place!
