My daughter has been going to this nursery for the past 2 years and she really loves her time there. Staff are truly professional and friendly and they look after our little ones very well. It's been a great learning journey for my girl at the nursery.

My daughter has been attending Banana Moon for nearly for 2 years and has received great care from day 1. Her key people have all been fantastic. After a period of difficult staff changes, the new management team has worked hard at rebuilding relationships between parents and staff with great success. I always look forward to discussing my daughter’s day with staff when I collect her in the evenings. The nursery also offers extra activities - music and science sessions lessons - which my daughter loves. The food is great too and dietary requests are catered for. A very well rounded offering.

Overall Experience

Our son has attended the nursery for 18 months. The new management team have worked hard to create a strong relationship between parents and staff which has resulted in an open, friendly and collaborative environment. The staff are a joy to interact with each day. I am particularly impressed by the variety of activities on offer for my toddler (including music and science sessions). The menu is varied, healthy and a hit with my son who devours it all. A happy toddler = happy parents!

Our little boy has been at Banana Moon Caversham since just after his first birthday in February 2017 and has enjoyed every day there since.
We’ve always seen it as a good sign that whenever we are dropping him off, he happily goes to grab his breakfast with his friends and when we pick him up he’s excited to tell us what he has done.
The staff and management are great here and always great at discussing points for development for him and helping us with things like potty training etc...

The overall feeling of the nursery is warm and full of care, very happy with everything we’ve experienced in our time with them.

I am very pleased that my little one is settling in ok.

The staff are very hands-on, friendly and professional. I was worried at first but they managed to put my mind at rest and make sure my little one is happy.

My daughter settled so quickly in this setting. It is lovely to see her flourishing and growing in confidence thanks to the amazing support of all the staff. She genuinely loves going to nursery and I have every confidence leaving her there when I am at work.

The staff quickly learnt her interests and have creatively used these in different activities.

I would not hesitate to recommend Banana Moon.

A wonderful setting. We feel so fortunate to have people who are as invested in out little girl as we are. Especially in developing the whole person, emotional and social as well as the more academic side.

Very caring, well-informed staff who obviously enjoy being with the children. They treat each one as an individual. My son took to the staff very quickly and although he found it hard being left at first the staff were fantastic at settling him and he was easily comforted by them. The manager is excellent and appears to always know what is going on. She is well informed and runs the nursery extremely well. The facilities are by far the best in Caversham. I'm very pleased with my choice! I feel so much better going back to work feeling confident that my son is safe and happy!

Banana Moon is always clean and tidy when I go to drop and pick up my children. The staff are lovely. Very happy that I moved my children to Banana Moon when they opened in October. Both children were very nervous about starting a new nursery but settled in very well and quickly. I would defiantly recommend to friends and family.

Best nursery in Berkshire.
The care is simply magnificent and my son is really enjoying this nursery.

Strongly recommend to all. I would rate 5 out 5 for this nursery. They have a great parking facility as well, so no hassle for the parents to drop and pick up.

I love Banana Moon. It's always clean and there's a lovely happy environment. The staff are friendly and engage with the children in a really lovely way. I am really impressed with the facilities and the communication that I get from the nursery. The nursery seems to take the children's safety and happiness very seriously and I have never seen this compromised. I always feel my daughter is in a safe and happy environment.

I am a fully qualified Nursery Manager with over 20 years of experience in the Early Years sector. I have been with Banana Moon for 10 years since the Nursery opened back in 2016.

I qualified as a nursery nurse in 2009. I have lived and worked in Reading since leaving school and have worked in 2 Nursery settings at that time. I am a very dedicated individual to the companies I have worked for. I pride myself on ensuring that the Nursery continues to improve and make positive changes to keep it fresh and exciting for the children, parents and staff.

Working together with parents is key to ensuring each individual child’s needs are met, and I find it so rewarding watching the children grow and develop in an environment I have helped to create with my team by my side.
