Banana Moon Day Nursery Caversham

Our daughter started the nursery this April. It was her first time spending time away from her parents and was a tough decision for us. But Banana Moon made it very easy. They have been amazing in communications which is key to trusting and have made our daughter feel right at home. She has formed closer bond with her key-person, learned so many new gestures and sleep management within first two months which was simply beyond our expectations. We highly recommend the nursery and the amazing staff.

From management down, the staff are what makes this nursery an absolute gem.

My children have been going to this nursery for nearly a year and they throughly enjoy it. They learn new things everyday, try new foods and have a great bond with the staff. The staff are very friendly and the app used for updates is easy to use. Catherine, Lauren, Maria and Lucy are our children's favourite but all the staff members are fantastic.

My daughter talks about her friends, the staff, funny things that has happened and is always excited when it's her Banana Moon days! I highly recommend the nursery!

I couldn't be happier with my baby being in this nursery in the baby room. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive and super caring with my child. This give me a peace of mind knowing my child is safe in this setting. The room is always clean, calm and there always activities that support my child development. The communication is outstanding, and it's clear how much love and care goes into everything that they do. My baby is happy, settled and I believe is thriving. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

What really makes the difference at Banana Moon- Caversham is the teachers.

My daughter has recently started nursery and wasn't settled at first, but after just two months she is now very happy and excited to go every day. The teachers have been incredibly patient, caring, and supportive.

My son has been attending the nursery for the past three years, and his teachers have been amazing in helping with his potty training and encouraging a love of books. His vocabulary has developed so much thanks to the education and care he receives.

I'd also like to mention the cooks, who prepare fresh and varied meals every day, which is a big plus.

The extra activities, such as day trips and events like the Christmas get-together for parents and children, add real value and create a lovely community feel.

I would highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for excellent care and a great learning environment for their children.

I have always felt care and safeguarding are a priority at the nursery. At my instruction, no photos of my children have ever been shared online or in marketing and we are given regular reminders to maintain security in the building. Accidents are well documented and illnesses are dealt with swiftly.

The staff and management were excellent in listening to my child's special needs on diet. Even had a discussion arranged with the head chef and they had a food plan drafted for my child. Very pleased and happy with the nursery.

Both my children have attended Banana Moon Day Nursery Caversham for over four years in total. They have been amazing, such kind staff, always going above and beyond for us. They organise wonderful events throughout the year and are so good with feedback. We feel so lucky to have them there. Thank you!

All the staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery are incredibly helpful and clearly care about our daughter, who started this month. They all seem to understand her as an individual and the daily diary of her day is helpful for seeing how she has got on. They provide good quality food, three meals a day and snacks. Our daughter always comes home happy and exhausted! We know she is well looked after and that is all we can ask for as parents.

We've had both our children on at Banana Moon Day Nursery since they were a year old and I've nothing but good things to say. They love it, the staff are really friendly and keep us informed of what's going on. Would recommend to anyone.

Banana Moon has been absolutely incredible with our child since the very first settle. The staff is phenomenal and attentive, the facilities are clean and inviting, and they’ve done a wonderful job of caring for our boy. We couldn’t be happier with them and can’t recommend them strongly enough.

It is a great nursery. I found it very expensive though, similar to all childcare for small children in Caversham. However, as for the nursery, we are very happy. The groups are not too big, care and staff are very good, the garden is bigger than it looks from the outside. My daughter loves going to Banana Moon and has both development and fun!

The activities the children do are varied, and they play in the garden daily (weather permitting). The garden isn’t huge but does have good equipment, and the kids like it. No complaints.

Banana Moon in Caversham is a fabulous nursery where my son, after a difficult settling-in period at 18 months old, has flourished. The nursery is wonderfully managed and the management team always provides support and guidance when needed. The manager and key worker of my son have been keen to help my son with his S and L delay by seeking external guidance and putting new practices into place. I would highly recommend Banana Moon in Caversham to anyone seeking a nursery. I know my son will miss nursery when he leaves at the end of the year, as will I!

My son has been there since he was 10 months old. Couldn't be more happy. It is great that they have clubs coming to the nursery e.g dance and sports. The only thing that could make it better is to do more reviews often with the parents to discuss what we can do to help develop our little ones learning. Or perhaps using the app to add it there. Also not to mention that every day you have a report from the day which some nurseries don't do.

Excellent nursery with a kind and caring team. We have had 2 of our children come through Banana Moon, with the first being taken care of during the start of the pandemic. They have both developed and thrived in the supportive environment and have greatly enjoyed the many experiences that the team has put on over the years (eg baby chick hatching, Christmas markets, fire engine visits etc).

It is a great nursery. The staff are caring and knowledgeable. They make the setting interesting and have lots of different activities throughout the year. Food is good quality. My son is happy there.
