The Study Nursery provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 9 months to 5 years, combining early childhood development with a love of learning. They focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and social skills through a carefully designed curriculum that balances play-based learning with structured activities.
Children benefit from a warm, safe, and supportive setting where experienced educators guide them through key developmental milestones, from early motor skills to pre-literacy and numeracy foundations. Their programmes encourage confidence, independence, and positive relationships, helping each child reach their full potential.
To enrich the learning experience, they offer a range of specialist activities, including Spanish and French language sessions, Forest School experiences that connect children with nature, cooking club to explore creativity and life skills, and PE sessions to support physical development and teamwork.
The nursery has a strong connection with Local Preparatory Schools, providing a seamless transition for children progressing into primary education. This partnership ensures continuity in learning, familiarisation with school routines, and access to enriched educational experiences, giving children a head start as they move into their next stage of schooling.

My son attends the Nursery at The Study. From his first day, he’s always run in with excitement. It gives me comfort knowing he enjoys attending the nursery and always comes home exhausted. The new Nursery Manager is doing an exceptional job. She’s been hands-on with me and my son since entering the setting and has given me guidance and help during some difficult times. I have no issues with the Nursery and would recommend it to any parent.
My son has been at the Study school for three months now and he is doing very well. I believe it’s a caring environment and he’s learning a lot through the attentions of the staff there. Forest school is a highlight for him, as is the chance to perform at assemblies.

Our daughter loves Study School and Nursery. She’s been there since she turned 2. The staff are lovely, knowledgeable and caring. Daily activities are varied, engaging, educational and fun. Good facilities - there is space to play outside as well as inside, and Forrest school is one of the highlights of the week. Kids learn to collaborate and quickly become friends. The nursery is well managed and communication with parents is great, including lots of updates and pictures of all their adventures. We prefer Study over our previous nursery and recommend it: there is lots of ‘educational play’ and a real sense of the school community, including school plays, music and PE lessons, sports day and Forrest school.
