The Abbey Nursery School

My little girl started here a few weeks ago, she's only 9 months old and I was worried about leaving her. The staff at the nursery have been absolutely fab, to the girls on reception to the girls in the baby room. On the first day, I got a little gift bag and an email at lunchtime with pictures of how she was doing. It was such a lovely thought and really helped me to stop worrying. Every week now when I pick her up now she's smiling her head off. They made settling into the nursery really easy for both her and me.

This nursery is an inviting, clean, stimulating, caring learning environment.

My little boy started attending Evolution Childcare @ The Abbey Nursery School when he had just turned 2 years old. He is now 3 and we have recently increased his hours to 2 full days. On the days he isn’t at nursery, he asks when he is going? He absolutely loves it there and has done since his first day. His speech and knowledge have come on in leaps and bounds since he started there. He comes home chatting about his friends and telling us what he’s been doing there. The Abbey has allowed him to flourish by ensuring they tailor his learning by incorporating things he loves (in this case that would be dinosaurs!)

As my son loves it so much, we recently enrolled our 17-month-old daughter at The Abbey. We were slightly worried she wouldn’t settle in as well because she’s much wary than her brother, however, it was lovely to see her immediately start building a relationship with her key worker and she goes in with no problem!

I couldn’t rate The Abbey any higher, I think the staff are wonderful and the facilities great!

My 15-month-old has been at the abbey for 3 months. I’ve found every single member of staff lovely and I love that my little boy has formed such a close bond with his key worker. Every day we get a log of what he’s been up to and Christmas was made extra special with him coming home with things he had made and pictures of him. Would recommend to anyone especially if your baby loves a cuddle like mine.

Choosing the Abbey Nursery for our son was the best decision we could have made, he's come on and progressed really well and enjoys his time at the nursery, you can tell the staff really do care about the children and the quality of care they provide, the nursery environment is of a really high standard compared to other nurseries we viewed.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

The staff at the Abbey are professional and holistic in their approach to caring for children. They listen and have a genuine passion for making each day as enjoyable as the next. I feel confident when leaving my son in their care and communication is excellent.

The Abbey is a fantastic nursery, our little boy has been there since it first opened and loves it there!

All staff and management show so much support and encouragement towards anything he does and he enjoys going.

He has made some lovely friends and tells me what he’s been doing after every day!

My son currently attends Evolution @ The Abbey two days a week and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. He’s happy to be dropped off in the mornings and has had a fantastic day every time we pick him up. I like that the children play outside a lot and do tonnes of different activities that you just wouldn’t be able to do at home, all whilst socialising with other children. The staff are very patient and caring and always give us a good run down at the end of the day detailing what my son has been up to. Would highly recommend!

Since my little boy started he always has such good fun. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Before my little one started I was so nervous to leave him to go to work, but all the ladies helped him settle right in and he is always entertained, playing and learning. A great menu of fresh food is served and my little one eats everything on offer. Brilliant nursery.

My son has been attending The Abbey since last year and his development has come on so much. He thoroughly enjoys going and has great relationships with all staff. My son always tells me what he has been doing which reflects the brilliant planned activities the staff do.

My son settled into The Abbey very quickly and I believe this was due to the emphasis the staff placed on family bonds early on with the children. After only being at the nursery for a few months, my son no longer gets upset when I drop him off in the nursery, instead, he is keen to get playing with the other children and staff. The staff are always very engaged when the children and the report we received is excellent and the standard of care brilliant. If my son is ever upset, he is always comforted by lots of cuddles. I know he feels safe and secure there, which is very reassuring for me as a parent.

My son has been at The Abbey now for two months and is settled and happy. I feel confident he is receiving great care and having lots of enjoyment whilst at the nursery. All staff are polite and friendly and I always enjoy hearing about my sons day at the handover when I collect him. Over the two months that he has been attending nursery, his development has really come along and I believe he will have many fun years here!
