All three of my children attended Just Imagine Day Nursery. All three thrived and came along with their development so quickly. The activities are so varied, and the staff were always so kind and caring. If I know someone is looking for a place for their child, I always recommend Just Imagine straight away. Keep at it girls. My son went to the nursey for 6-years, and he absolutely loved it. All the staff are amazing and always happy. The girls in there really do care about the children and take the best care, which is what every parent wants. They always listened if you had any worries, and I always knew my son was in the best hands.

My daughter loved going here. Started in the baby's room and finished when she went to school. She was advanced for her age, and I put this down to the girls. Also, made me feel happy about leaving her, even with my mum's guilt. They would phone me to let me know she was ok. My daughter loves that she still sees the girls on the school run, so can still have a chat with them. Amazing nursery.

A lovely, warm and friendly nursery. The staff made my little one feel welcome from day one, and she’s always happy to go in on her days there. They’ve really helped her confidence with new people, and it’s great to see all the fun activities she does during the day. It makes it much easier going to work every day knowing she’ll be well looked after.

Since moving to the area recently, both my daughters have started at Just Imagine. One at after school club and the other at nursery. The staff at Just Imagine have been amazing at helping both girls settle into the setting. The communication has been great so far, and both girls seem to be enjoying themselves.

Found this nursery to be really good. The team are all approachable, and they always inform me of everything needed. My little one has a speech delay, and they have really helped me with additional practice for him while at nursery and in contacting the correct people for additional help.

The staff are exemplary regarding the safety and well-being of the children and part of daily feedback, which is great to see. All staff are friendly and approachable, without exception, and both us and our children have built close relationships with many of the practitioners.
The manager is superb and has been our main point of contact for any queries for the last few years and is always so helpful and prompt with anything we ask about.
So lovely to hear that your children have enjoyed the nursery from an early age and have been able to gain so much from the setting.

I moved my son to Just Imagine because he and I were unhappy with his previous nursery, and the difference in care has been outstanding! Just Imagine has been amazing. They treat the children like family and make them feel loved and cared for in a way that is relatable and reassuring. Due to relocating overseas, we have unfortunately had to leave, but If I could take the team with us, then I would! They have made my son feel comfortable, full of joy, and really helped him blossom, whilst making myself and my partner feel confident in leaving him in their care. We will truly miss Just Imagine, and hope we can find a childcare centre just as great!

I have sent both of my children here from 12-months-old. One is still there at 3-years-old, and the other went till he left to go to school. The nursery has looked after them both really well, and both kids have been happy there. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nursery in the area. Also, a bonus is that it’s right near the train station, super handy for those who might work in London or anywhere on the Southend Victoria line.

My daughter started here in September 2021 when we moved to the area. She finds it hard to settle but has really enjoyed her time here. I feel the staff go out of their way to make me feel comfortable when she's having a bad morning, and I will get an update on the app showing her playing happily! She's definitely grown in confidence since starting, and overall, I'm very happy I chose Just Imagine.

Hi, I’m Katie, Nursery Manager. I joined Just Imagine Wickford – Station Avenue in January 2012. I have over 12 years of early years experience within all age ranges, including safeguarding and SEND. I was a senior practitioner for 6 years and have progressed to Nursery Manager.
I am passionate about my job role and aim to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriched environment for the children within our care, enabling them to learn and grow.
