For older children, Just Imagine Wickford offers an Out of School Club for 4 to 11-year-olds, open before and after school during term time. Additionally, there's a Holiday Club for 4 to 11-year-olds, ensuring year-round enjoyment and engagement.

A home from home! I’ve had three grandchildren through Just Imagine Nursery and I can’t fault it, the staff are attentive, amazing and caring to the children's needs. The children are always happy. The staff offer great advice and support. A diverse nursery where children can be themselves and make
friends, the nursery offers a healthy well balanced variety of foods with structured play and activities.

Supportive and professional staff always, setting is diverse and friendly!
My child found it super easy to settle in after moving to Wickford. She has made huge noticeable improvements in various areas of her development and is now almost ready for school, thanks to the team!

My son attends the holiday club at Just Imagine Wickford - Station Avenue Day Nursery. He has enjoyed getting to know the staff who are always welcoming and friendly towards James. Amazing nursery! Staff are so lovely and very welcoming. They’ve helped my little boy in so many ways. My son is a very fussy eater and since going to this nursery he has eaten all different kinds of food and I couldn’t thank them all enough. They are all great at their jobs. He loves going there. Our little boy loves coming to nursery. He first started when he was 6 months old and he is truly thriving. Having nevet experienced going to or knowing anyone who has had a child attend a nursery I was nervous, but they are amazing.
My son is always well-fed and happy upon pick up and they have been
really amazing with any bumps he takes due to recently finding his feet. They are prompt with a call and complete accident forms and update upon collection. He really loves all the team and think we have only had one instance of tears on drop off, which is amazing, since he started. Thank you.

I am very pleased with this nursery and all the staff. On her first day, my little one cried for all her setting hours but the girls tried to kindly integrate her and make her feel better and I was crying outside. Now after more than one year, she’s going there with confidence and she can’t wait to
play with her friends. Also, she’s speaking or even singing in English to me, even if at the beginning she was saying just 3-4 words (English is her second language). So well done to all the staff for the good work and all that I can say is a big thank you.

We have used Just Imagine for 5 years now, our eldest still attends afterschool club and our youngest is in the main nursery, having been through both the baby and toddler room. Both our boys have allergies and the staff have been absolutely fantastic in catering to their needs so that they don't feel
too different from the other children. The boys rave about the staff and have always been very happy and settled. The communication is great and we always feel fully briefed on any changes or issues that might affect us as a family. I never hesitate to recommend the nursery, no the building isn't flashy but my goodness the love, care and consideration for the children is amazing.

I can’t speak highly enough of Just Imagine. Both my daughters have attended full time since the age of 1 and both have been so happy there. The staff are amazing, and my girls love them all like they are family. There seems to be a very low turnover of staff, so the children can form strong bonds which

My daughter mostly attends the holiday club during school holidays; she loves the activities, food and staff. She has built good relationships there. She comes back with stories to tell; she likes outdoor trips to the cinema etc.

We have used Just Imagine Wickford - Station Avenue Day Nursery for the last 8 years. My eldest daughter started there when she was 3 years old and thoroughly enjoyed her time there up until 11 when she joined secondary school. My youngest daughter now attends and has been going since she was 9 months
old. She is now 5 and attends school club. This is a fantastic nursery and the staff and carers look after the children so well. I couldn’t recommend Just Imagine enough.

My two children started at Just Imagine Wickford - Station Avenue Day Nursery back in September 2022, one in Baby Room and the other in another room.
My daughter loves her room, and the staff there, they’re attentive and so caring. We get a really good handover each evening at pickup and my daughter
comes out happy.
My son loves his room. It took him a few weeks to settle in but he loves where he is and the girls that look after him. They care for him like he is their own. He’s clean, happy, fed, and stimulated whilst within the care here.
I also can’t fault management, any query or question is answered almost straight away.
Staff are very hot on safeguarding and abiding by the nursery policies which is reassuring as a parent.
An all-round really, really lovely nursery. I wish I had found it sooner!

Cannot recommend Just Imagine Wickford - Station Avenue Day Nursery more!
My daughter had to change nursery due to me moving. I was so worried for her but they really ease my anxiety and she couldn’t be happier there, 10/10 from me!

My little one, age 2.5, had never been in a nursery setting before, so I was apprehensive about how they would take to it.
Well, I didn't need to worry as they absolutely love it and have settled in really well.
They come home and talk about all the things they have done and who they have played
with that day, including all the nursery staff.
My child has a few food allergies, but they have catered for these, and they come home with a full belly of food each day.
Great communication from the team, especially the manager; she is so dedicated (sometimes too much, replying to emails late at night and at weekends)!
Could recommend it enough!

I cannot recommend Just Imagine - Station Avenue enough. I was really apprehensive about sending my little boy to nursery as he was born during the lockdown and didn’t have much interaction with other children. He has only been at the nursery since January, and I cannot believe how much he has developed
in those 4-months. When he first joined, I received a starter pack where I was able to put achievements that I wanted from my child. And already, in those 4-months, he has hit those goals thanks to the baby team. The staff are always very polite and do a wonderful job. He loves going to nursery, and his face lights up when he sees the ladies in the morning. I am so glad I took the plunge to put him into the nursery and so glad this was the nursery I chose for my son. Thank you to you all!

Great nursery. Made my girl welcome and let her settle very quickly. All the staff are very helpful and understanding. Take extra care of my baby when she is teething and refused to eat or drink at home but was happy in the nursery and eats all her food. The manager always helps with any question,s

Couldn’t rate this nursery highly enough! Our child is always engaged in different activities, has made some long-lasting relationships with members of staff and is always happy to go to nursery. The communication from the nursery is always excellent, and I would highly recommend.

The nursery provided a caring environment for my child, and I was more than happy with the care and support he received during his time here. Development needs are supported well, and he had lots of fun exploring the environment and making friends.

All three of my children attended Just Imagine Day Nursery. All three thrived and came along with their development so quickly. The activities are so varied, and the staff were always so kind and caring. If I know someone is looking for a place for their child, I always recommend Just Imagine straight

My son attended Just Imagine for 7-years. The only reason we left is because I was made redundant. I would highly recommend sending your children there; they learn so much educationally and socially. My son is now above average in school due to them.
The ladies become like family, we are still in contact
with some of the ladies that work or worked there.
I would highly recommend Just Imagine to any parent looking for childcare. I can guarantee they will have the best time there with so many memories. If I was ever to need childcare again, they would be my first choice every time.

Hi, I’m Katie, Nursery Manager. I joined Just Imagine Wickford – Station Avenue in January 2012. I have over 12 years of early years experience within all age ranges, including safeguarding and SEND. I was a senior practitioner for 6 years and have progressed to Nursery Manager.


I am passionate about my job role and aim to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriched environment for the children within our care, enabling them to learn and grow.
