The team of Early Years practitioners at the nursery have a wealth of experience and work hard to design and deliver activities and experiences that enable children to progress successfully through the EYFS curriculum.

Staff support and value each child as an individual, empowering them to meet their development goals, explore their own interests and grow in confidence.

The nursery provides daily updates and photos about your child’s routine and activities, ensuring you never miss a moment. They also work closely with school community networks.

For older children, Just Imagine Wickford offers an Out of School Club for 4 to 11-year-olds, open before and after school during term time. Additionally, there's a Holiday Club for 4 to 11-year-olds, ensuring year-round enjoyment and engagement.

We are pleased with the level of care. Our children are happy and enjoying their time at the nursery. They have plenty of learning opportunities through play. The staff are so kind and caring. My daughter is very happy with this nursery; she goes with great pleasure every day.

Just Imagine have been incredible with my little boy. He has been attending the nursery since he was two, and he has come along in leaps and bounds. The team are always on hand to help/support in what you are trying to achieve and come up with fresh ideas to really help reach a goal, creating sticker
charts with child's favourite characters on to aid in potty training and really praising the good work he does. My son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and has an amazing bond with all the staff. He is encouraged and eats new food that has been homecooked, and he tells me all about it. My child has thrived at Just Imagine, and the manager and the team are the best at what they do, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

I have had all four of my children attend Just Imagine, ranging from 2011- present. All have thrived and enjoyed their time here. Staff are lovely and really help where needed. Lunch/meals are great and very varied. Kids come out happy. Great start to their learning journey.

My child has settled very well and quickly into this nursery. He is normally a very anxious child that doesn’t leave me no matter where and has been made to feel very comfortable with both staff and children.

Hi, I’m Katie, Nursery Manager. I joined Just Imagine Wickford – Station Avenue in January 2012. I have over 12 years of early years experience within all age ranges, including safeguarding and SEND. I was a senior practitioner for 6 years and have progressed to Nursery Manager.


I am passionate about my job role and aim to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriched environment for the children within our care, enabling them to learn and grow.
